I said that we'd have been flying around in significantly better modeling with FC-level AFM'ed performance had ED kept its eye on the ball, instead of worrying about making helicopters and CAS, which is the very root of this here argument betwixt Red Air and Blue Air over who get the love. Which, last I checked, WAS THE POINT.

You should probably watch your tone and calm down. It's a simple forum post. There is no need to be ugly.

 

As for your claim or lack thereof..While one might not directly say/promote an agenda or idea, that does not mean that one's logic doesn't lead to the inevitable conclusion. For example, "Poor people should just go out and find a job". While the argument might be valid, this shows that the person saying this believe's that the poor just don't want jobs and if they tried, they could get them. Obviously such a claim is absurd but one must reach conclusions to have an argument. (Sorry for the bad example)

 

I have such a limited understanding of the inner working of ED and how games and flight sims are made I should not dabble into this part, but the amount of work that they have put into these flight sims is just not shown on the surface and can't be measured by "We want X airframe and we haven't gotten it......yet".

 

They are coming out with a new fighter jet. Keep Calm and Wait for ED.

Sorry, I must have misread your post, I thought you made the point that they were working on things you dont want to buy and in that were holding up things you did want to buy. By mis-reading your post I was just pointing out that certain things take longer than others, and maybe instead of a certain devs sitting at his desk posting pictures on Facebook of the dinner they had the other night maybe instead he decided it would be cool to model a P-51... I am sure you are right though, his boss probably told him to finish FC3, and he instead he did his own thing and made a prop plane... so sorry, I hope you can forgive me for mis-reading your post.

The fact Lunaticfringe, that you want a DCS:Fighter and fighter aircraft to be the priority, and as a matter of fact I do as well, does not mean that is what is best for ED as a company. Sure, some people buy stuff just to support ED, but I think it is safe to say most bought Ka-50, A-10C etc. cause they like those releases for what they are.

 

Lots going on at ED that we can only guess about.

I would guess the reason is because things are still up in the air. With one month left to develop things, they could add/take out/change certain things very easily.

The key is linked to the account it was brought from, so one key can not be used at the same time while in MP.
