Raven68 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Good to hear, thanks for the update! On another note, since my understanding is that 1.2.4 is supposed to be released right along with UH-1, does anyone know what exactly is going into 1.2.4? I know some of the new cockpits for FC3 couldn't make it into 1.2.3, so any word on whether they make it into the next update? I asked that same question TooTall about a week ago. I never got a response. Not surprised really...I'm so lonely.:cry: Intel i5-9600K @ 3.7GHz; Gigabyte Z370XP SLI Mobo; G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4080 16GB 256-Bit GDDR6; Thermaltake Water 3.0 Certified Liquid Cooling System Windows 11 Professional Pimax Crystal Light /TrackIR 5 in case VR dies; Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog w/ Thrustmaster T-Flight Rudder Pedals

Thankyou for the quick update PilotMI8, that will give my poor F5 button a rest, at least until Tomorrow anyway. ;) Then again, I'm loving the atmosphere and threads on here, so chances are I'm still gonna be around. I can only see one problem with not releasing until Weds and lets be honest possibly Thurs, which we all know is the normal patch day...... I'm back to work on Thurs for 6 days. Ah well keep up the great work guys, and thanks again for the update. Vlerkies Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Cool, any chance of a PM to tell me how to do it. Cowboy10uk Cowboy, the easiest way is to download an app called teamviewer. http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx Instal it on your desktop and your other portable device or another pc you will be in front off. Take note of the codes it offers and you can then remotely connect where ever you are if you have internet connection on both naturally. Works really well. Best to also just in the settings increase the default password strentgh to max, you never know :smilewink: Thermaltake View 91, Z390 Gigabyte Aorus Ultra, i9 9900K, Corsair H150i Pro, 32Gb Trident Z 3200, Gigabyte Aorus Extreme 2080ti, Corsair AX1200i, Warthog A-10 Hotas, MFG Crosswind pedals, TiR5 Pro, HP Reverb Pro

Lord_Pyro Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Bah! Promopics of an old DCS Version, without the new gras or good textures... Like on the DCS Hueypage, these pics should be updated right away (at the dcs page) because you want to attrackt customers, these old pics wont benefit that goal like pics showing the actual stage of dcs and the hueymodule would do. Don't you think so? That's also why i didnt get the exitement in all the boards as the productpage was reactivated some days ago because it was obviously an old page with outdated screenshots, outdated texts and most likely outdated pricings. If you are a bit into the DCS universe you easily spott, that theese pictures were taken about half a year ago. Yet some people treated it like the holy grail... The page was never officially released and not meant to be found/read by visitors  Someone in the Russian forums just tried manually typing in URLs and found the page. It already has been confirmed that this page will get a full overhaul before release, with updated and more elaborate information (and screenshots I presume). Ok, maybe they should have pulled the page offline or some big IN PROGRESS/UNDER CONSTRUCTION text. Again: the page you are referring to is NOT meant for public viewing, even though it is possible. Furthermore, the price has been confirmed as stated on that temporary page. But for pricing discussion there is another topic somewhere. Edited April 16, 2013 by manne
Mt5_Roie Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Manne - seeing how there is lots of misinformation going on about it, it's hard to really trust an "official" statement from someone without "ED tester" or other titles in their name. Just saying it doesn't sound too official. But I agree with your statement that someone found the website they were working on at some point and it got blown out of the water with rumors. Although with other products we've typically seen the manual before the release. It looks like the manual was released and the thread about the manual is being commented by guys working on it (they even asked to help find issues with it). So I'm hoping that would give some indication that the beta release is coming sooner rather then later. Coder - Oculus Rift Guy - Court Jester

First was that they "attempting" to have it released this past weekend. Finally they made another announcement that a bug was found that prevented them from releasing it and that they were waiting on ED to patch the bug. The Huey IS close, that's for sure. However, if this means tomorrow, this weekend, next week, or whatever, we are yet about to find out.
