Have a look at frame at second 0:39 and 0:40, you will see a whole on the runway to the left of the F-15C, that's the reason why your gear collapses.

 

So perhaps I should call the runway maintenance guys next time :P

how about this?

I have the latest version of DCSW and FC3 with windows 7/64.

My graphics card is GTX 580 and I just downloaded the latest driver : 306.97

 

This is what I see when I climb above Angels 25 (or 26 not sure) and I am almost sure it was not like that prior to 1.2.2? when I descend below 25000 feet the artifacts disappear... ?

Dont know if this is mentioned, but when im looking into the radar screen and try to manuover the TD onto a target (i use the hat on the hotas throttle for moving designator and have track ir for view) this makes the pilot head move like the hat on the stick would if its asigned to view but that`s cleared in controll settings. so every time im holding the hat in one direction for longer times it moves the view around in that direction

This is in the f-15 btw

- Bug at startup on IA SU-25T: we can ear an aibrake out/in noise at the very firts momentn of the startup, but with no visible motion from F2 point of view.

 

- F-10 bug with the SU-27 (not tested with other aircrafts): maps always switches back ON the MGRS grid each time you come back to F-10 view, no matter what you preset previously

 

- wind drift has NO effect on the chaff/flare thus it does on parachutes and vehicules dust trail

 

- dust tail occurs far lower than previously (same as for the overwater effect)

 

- SU-27 mirrors present weird textures (ans also seems over dimmensionned)

Dont't see this at the bug list.

- if engines coming up no heat blur (was/is present in FC2)

- if engines idle no heat blur (was/is present in FC2)

- no standard skins for MiG-29 (was/is present in FC2)

Heat blur now shows only when some power is applied to the engine(s) so this is not a bug

No longer active in DCS...

ok, but in my opinion there is heat blur in real life even when taxying or still standing with minimum throttle. please give it back to FC3 like we had it in FC2! it is more realistic. thank ED very much for this great sim!

 

Heat blur now shows only when some power is applied to the engine(s) so this is not a bug

Got something like that too. Didn't test with high altitude nor F-15, but had (apparently) the same issue in F2/F7 views at low altitude with clouds.

 

However, this is not an FC3 flyable bug, but a general DCS World bug. Let's move to this topic, then ;)

Been having persistent crashes during multiplay which makes the SIm rather unplayable. :(

Some new bugs too:

- MiG-29A can be rearmed with 27ER and 27ET in ingame rearm menu

- Smoke effect at landings of clients are visible only the first landing, and with different texture

- Su-25A has no difference between taxi / landing lights

- Su-25A and 25T after first rearming, client's drogue chute cap remains open

- Su-25A/T takeoff flaps position is shown as landing position flaps at clients' aircrafts

- Since FC3 release F18C rudders are moving the other way they should (move to right in a left turn)

FC3 F15 ILS LOCALISER ON ADI AND CDI BUGGED, BUGGED IN NAV MODE AS WELL

 

The ILS Localiser deviation bar on the ADI and the CDI bar on the HSI during an ILS approach are there to indicate deviation from the localiser. This they do just fine as long as you are wings level. However in the FC3 F15 the instant you roll on some bank you get an immediate deflection of both the ADI Localiser bar and the HSI CDI. This is incorrect. The only inputs used to generate the position of these deviation indicators is displacement from the localiser.

 

The current (incorrect) mechanisation makes it very difficult to track the localiser.As soon as you make a correction Twang off goes the localiser bar.

A gentle wing rock is all that is required to bounce the bars off the stops.

 

The same issue is there on the HUD Course Line and HSI CDI in NAV as well

 

The Steering Cross on the HUD for ILS works well and does not reflect this bug.

 

Yet to check the A10

 

FIX REQUIRED

Remove Bank angle error from F15 ADI localiser bar and HSI CDI bar during ILS operation.

Remove the Bank Angle error from the ADI,CDI and HUD Course Line in NAV mode.

 

All the CDI,HUD course line, ADI course line reference should look at is displacement from the required course.

Almost forgot. These types of MiG-29s will not show anything like that on HDD since thats a HUD repeater. Dont know about Su-27 and 33, as i know the Su-27S had the new HDD function we have in FC series, below that version that was also a HUD repeater.

Please post a screenshot of your Input/Controls/F-15/View Cockpit page with HOTAS category column highlighted confirming view input deletion. Also please post very short track.

94 - R-77 not select-able whilst in Fi0 mode

 

Not so sure this is a bug. FiO mode is only relevant with IR missiles. All FiO mode does is provide a boresight reference to assist the pilot acquiring AI tone for a boresight IR launch. So the current mechanisation only works for the ET,R73 and Aphid .... Makes sense to me.

 

There is no requirement for fiO mode with the R77 (or R27 for that matter). If the target is in the HUD a launch of R77 has the missile going active off the rail. Its similar to a Visual AIM120 launch. In this case the AIM120 FOV visual reference circle fills the entire F15 HUD. In the case of the R77 its pretty much the same though no R77 Reference circle is displayed.

There is no requirement for fiO mode with the R77 (or R27 for that matter). If the target is in the HUD a launch of R77 has the missile going active off the rail.... In the case of the R77 its pretty much the same though no R77 Reference circle is displayed.

Seems like I'm missing something here. How do you get it off the rail? I've never gotten a launch cue without some method of locking first. I've never seen an R-77 reference circle.
