FC3 Bug thread

I don't know if this issue is ok for this thread:music_whistling:, but would it be possible to have the apron position of the aircrafts aligned with the ground marks (or the countrary)?

This way this would prevent a deadly spawning or respawing on someone parked at the apron:doh:, for we can now choose the parking position (that is a great improvement, thanks for it ED :thumbup:)

Does this also concern the FC3 campaign missions? Because for the F-15C campaign at least me and another guy can't proceed further than the first mission (crashes GUI on exit, no record of the mission). More info here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=97971

 

It also hapenned with one other mission in Su-25T campaign, common characteristics are:

 

- mission finished, I land, hit quit

 

- GUI starts loading, reaches 96% and crashes to desktop

 

- no crash log is generated

 

I assume, though I'm not sure, that this is connected with porting the campaigns over from FC2, so might affect all the newly imported campaigns at some point - I couldn't test them all as I am in general very short on time.

 

BTW, I "fixed" the Su-25T mission by removing the tasking from my flight and re-tasking with a different task (which did approximately the same as the original).

 

I assume this persists with latest version, 1.2.2.7570, yes?

I found R-27ET missiles launched when Su27 is turned over had wrong trajectorys and spent much more energy than normal.But there are no big diffrences between them in FC2.And I've attached acmis to illustrate them.

 

Besides,I don't think the fact that AIM-120Cs have more energy and higher maximum speed than R-27ER is in accord with encyclopedia in FC3.I wonder if this is a bug.

The failures system via the triggers need a "player" plane.

Works fine in a solo game, all the planes are affected by the failure.

Don't work in multiplayer, no planes are affected

I know Kuky, I was saying that in that pic he has it says FLOOD mode is 8 miles, in FC2 it's 10 miles. Then I was asking how old is the TO/checklist is that page from. They do upgrades to TO's and checklist all the time.

 

Mar 1981 for the F15C manual. The F15E manual dated Aug 1989 contains identical wording.

Yes i have tried with player plane and client plane.

 

The failure option in the plane main options seems to works...

Still no client side air-break sounds fro SU25A and or T. If the AI have it why doesn't the Client?

Here is an other bug I just discovered while attempting to apply the old textures of my virtual squadron. I precise that this bug was already in place before, but I just noticed it once my squad skins made it obvious!

 

This bug concerns the navlights of the SU-27, but I guess that all de SU-27 series (I mean derivated versions such as the SU-33) should be concerned.

In multiplayer all FC3 aircraft get ATC chatter and Refuel/Rearm calls from all friendly bases even when over 60nm+ away in the middle of combat.

Yes! That's really a big annoying issue and also quite irrealistic.

I guess that's also because we cannot change or tune to an other frequency in FC-3. May be then via the triggered action "set frequency" :book:

A10A has incorrect cockpit gauge lighting its meant to be green gauges
