i scratch my head when people wanna know if EDGE is almost done....

I dont think a Graphics Engine Re-Write is quick, and when you add in the transitioning of DCSW to Open Modules, its only gonna make it more complicated.

Glad mp is a big concern, cause I think it will play a big role in the future. Thanks for the update and hopefully people will calm down and stop posting "whats going on', "where is 1.x.x" or blah blah blah......let the people work. I love updates as much as the next person. When they have a update for us, they'll let us know. Carry on gentlemen.

Isn't that part of what helps liven up the forums? Please don't discourage folks from participating and stifling their excitement of whats to come. No one is preventing the staff from working. It's not like any of us can physically get anyone in a choke hold and say "I demand you get on the forum and answer my questions!!":smilewink: Why else would they come to these boards if they didn't want to engage us, the customer?

There is nothing wrong with participating, but they keep asking the same thing over and over again, that is what I'm saying. When 25 people ask the same question in 8 different threads, nothing is going to change. That's not going to make the patch or the next DCS aircraft or patch come out faster. I want to know just as much as the next person.

Any news on how the network testing is going.

From Wags...

1.2.3 Update

Over the weekend the test team did a lot of network testing, using many changes/improvements to the network code for 1.2.3. The results showed good stability and we plan to create an internal test version installer mid-week. If these tests go well, we hope to release 1.2.3 to the public soon afterwards.

Network stability is of high importance to us. In fact, 1.2.3 would have been released prior to the holiday if it was not.

We are also using this time to fix the reported FFB issue.

The way I read it and if I am correct the network testing is done and its a matter of setting up the installation package now. I may be reading it wrong though.

Let´s just hope everything goes according to plan and no new issues pop up which might further delay the release. I´m so looking forward ot 1.2.3.

With a little bit of luck they´re wrapping up things on the test-installer right now and the release could be there as soon as next week. :)

Wish I could dive right back into it, but sadly my master thesis comes first...
