Of course, we know they did not keep any. :D The track does not replay correctly. But here's a word by word summary. Okay startup complete, now add some collective. ( Huey noses down hard and fast) **** pulls cyclic back! (Huey banks hard right) **** Left cyclic! (YAW) **** pedels! (Huey flies 3 feet off ground accelerating fast straight to the nearest hanger. Shaking like hell all the way!) **** more collective and pulls cyclic back, dancing on the pedels trying to straighten out the patch and climb over the hanger. ( Huey responds by nicely flying over the hanger, only sideways to the direction of travel) Attemps to hover. ( huey decides that hovering is not really its thing, it would rather be a slow turning top. ) Time to land, lowers collective slowly. ( Huey slowly comes down and picks up some forward motion ) Almost touching down I drop the collective to plant the huey into the ground. (Huey responds buy going in reverse and dropping onto the ground. Tail skid hits runway.) I panic! Full toward cyclic! As far as I can see, Noone is complaining about there being bugs, sure we are slightly disappointed it may not be here this weekend, but lets be honest I don't think anyone is that surprised. I've seen a lot more shouting and angry posts about the 1.2.3 delay. I think there seems to have been some sort of misunderstanding. The fact EB and PilotMI8 is sharing this info is more than appreciated, I know I love the amount of updates good or bad we are getting from this team. I can't see any posts from people getting wound up, or stating we have been lied to, or that the world is going to end just because the Huey is very very slightly delayed from what we hoped would happen. There has never been an official date given, so it can't be delayed, yes all indications were looking hopeful for this weekend, yes now there are still a few bugs that need fixing, so it may not happen for a week or two. A few of us, myself included answered EB post, stating both that we are sorry it' may not arrive this week and thanked him for his updates, something that EB did not have to do. So please guys, lets not fall out over this. NOONE is angry, NOONE is saying we shouldn't get info. In fact I think you will find we are more than happy with the info given. Yes there was a slight issue at first when the legal side was happening, but damn EB and PilotMI8 have more than made up for that with the fantastic amount of info and videos that they have given us in the last week. Lets just enjoy the journey, and enjoy the passionate and very informative discussions on the Huey that we are getting here, we will all be flying soon enough. Derk Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Thanks EB, you have been clear about possible delays from the start. I don't believe anyone can justify feeling dissapointed too long about not getting their (your) huey over the weekend. Especially if you consider the reason for the delay is, in fact, progress. In the end, all the work that is being done now gets everyone a better simulation experience from the release. It might even save you an open beta build or two. I for one can wait a few more weeks or months if that is what it takes to bring forth a representable beta build. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
