What does "on hold" mean for Nevada? Has work on it stopped until EDGE is released or are they still working on both?

 

I'm asking because a new map for DCS is the one thing I really would love to see. You know you've seen enough of the Black Sea region when you see a random DCS screenshot and think "Oh, that's south-east of Kutaisi airport, right by the hut of old Petja and his Natasha. I wonder if the dog's well again."

Awesome, thanks for putting this together. They've certainly got a lot on their plate.

 

Also hoping for EDGE as the next major addition. I also hope there's a plan to just "consolidate" for a bit - Tweaking the things they have now to get them running as smoothly and elegantly as possible before slotting in new modules.

As far as I understood from Ells and Tango, VEAO is working on the Eurofighter Typhoon in parallel to the Hawk... so 201? - DCS: Typhoon (work in progress) sounds reasonable :D

I certainly did not say it is currently in progress because it is not. It is an eventual goal.

3rd Party and DCS are not exclusive. The best 3rd party developers will be developing DCS products (see: Beczl's DCS: Mig 21, Belsimtek's DCS: UH-1 Huey and VEAO's DCS: Hawk).
