I always make a backup of my original Eagle Dynamics Install (Main folder and saved games folder)

 

I installed the patch and transferred a few modded files across , HD pit, NVG mod.

 

I can confirm that on my setup that the loading times are normal, however, once it loads into the cockpit (A10 tested) it is very choppy and sluggish for about 20 seconds before it settles down to normal.

 

Everything else is fine regarding performance wise in game.

 

I have only tested SP so far, so cannot comment on MP at this stage.

 

Specs i7 3770k , GTX Titan, 16gb DDR3, Windows 7 x64, TrackIr 5, HOTAS.

it exceeds my knowledge/

FYI

 

some modules (not all) have increased loading times, so depending what modules you have installed is if you notice increase in loading times or not

 

Looks like CA and FC3 are ok, while UH-1H and BS2 are worst "offenders". Take it easy and relax, ED is on it :D

Yeah, like they were loading pretty fast till now and had to be slowed down due to users feeling nausea..

 

Jesus, I have two SSD drives in RAID0 - and I thought it still loaded slow...

Sometimes I feel like there is a conspiracy between developers and hardware sales, that you make your software sluggish on purpose for us suckers to throw our money for "faster" hardware...

...bah... this is becoming a neverending story... :D

Same Here, usually my nice SSD brings me to fly in less than 15 sec. from the Mission Editor, but now it is 1 min. at least.

 

Some guys tell that there is no change, maybe it depends on modules you have (I have all), but it is clear that there is a big regression on loading time for some modules/PC at least.

Same here, loads <>15 seconds longer on my SSD.

I have all the DCS expansions, and loadsa mods installed.

When I try to log in it gives me = Invalid Serial Number - .

Update was 223.3 m, went in OK. ?.

Hahaha, you Fiend! :D Even though I am one of the hapless fools who have just patched before seeing this thread, and forgot to back up.....I'm not going to cry about it, and have to admit that your immense and callous "schadenfreude" cruelty made me laugh. :D

 

Confirm longer loading times with a Samsung 840 Pro Series SSD too. My Huey training has also completely disappeared, with a link to a download which it says is not available yet. Otherwise things seem about the same (apart from Russ language) Oh well. Meh....They will hopefully sort it soon. :)

If you're having problems, just roll back to the previous version with the updater. Simples.

Aye, downloading now. Mine says 441.1.mb with all modules installed. EDIT: Missing Huey training fixed in 124.12913, sorted. :)

Look in the bottom right corner of your DCS Start-Splash screen, in small type it should read 1.2.4.12913. :)
