I selected the B17 only because the Lanc wasn't available. Just love the Lanc with its four Merlins and large bombload.

At this point any multi-engine bomber would probably do it for me, but yes, who wouldnt like to go packing a 4000lbs bomb :)

80 aircraft are on the way via VEAO ... I know Lock On since the early beginning and in 10 years we had roughly 10-15 modules...

Their P-40 doesn't looks promising for now, hope to be surprised positively but they seems a bit too enthusiastic... a Rafale, a NH-90... those are airframes that very few infos are gatherable on it ...

Anyway, sorry for that complete off-topic

Thunderbolt

But I'll gladly buy any of the aircraft on the list.

Me-262 will be a nightmare to fly in DCS.

How so?

Should be a dream to fly as pr. the pilots who flew the thing.

Only thing to keep in mind is that the throttle needs to be managed carefully, unless of course we get the updated version from late 44 with the improved throttle control to prevent compressor stalls and flameouts.

Give me a P47

After watching

one of many flicks on the Thunderbolt I want one. Unlike the P51 the P47 can take the punches and keep dishing it out...

I'll be happy if this thing even happens, but it seems like the planes that are always being talked about are the "uber" late model ones. I hope that won't be the case and that different time periods will be covered with correct models.

Agreed. It's a little strange when the P-51D is the slowest fighter on the map. Maybe the name can be changed to Europe 1945.:P

P-51D | Fw 190D-9 | Bf 109K-4 | Spitfire Mk IX | P-47D | WW2 assets pack | F-86 | Mig-15 | Mig-21 | Mirage 2000C | A-10C II | F-5E | F-16 | F/A-18 | Ka-50 | Combined Arms | FC3 | Nevada | Normandy | Straight of Hormuz | Syria

is there a possibility to be added to the game a russian fighter like the yak-3 or La-7?

La-7 would be nice, like the 109K-4, lots of punch with one or two rounds and it is fast, well the Aces High (hitechcreations) version is.

Yeah, only use specific planes that were available only during the designated year of their operation.

I would LOVE the Mosquito, any model! THE plane that went from being a joke in bomber command during WWII to becoming the one to have (even Göring wanted it) Revolutionary design, highly adaptable and the fastest plane in the air until the jets showed up..

AND apparently the design is inspired by a trout (fish) that Churchill caught after he came home from South Africa (Boer war).

That is poetic irony.

If this model shows I'll buy it, Normandy and the WWII assets pack and fly treetop nightmissions :)

To be honest, the plane I would want the most for DCS is Tempest Mk.V

IMHO this is the key fighter plane for allies on the western front 1944/45 regarding low-level fighting (2 TAF). This would be an excellent adversary to Fw 190D, Bf 109K and hopefully Me262 and V1.

Not yet released aircrafts mentioned in the poll are mostly fighter-bombers/ground-attack/pure bombers planes. But from the pure fighter's view the Tempest is a must here.

I guess you haven't seen the pictures & discussion about the imminent FB version? :D

We have nearly all of this very old thread either in game or confirmed, I think - current "please make this" threads for Western Europe are these two ( the Pacific stuff has it's own forum, not that most of it isn't useable in either place )

If you could have one WW2 fighter module not yet implemented, what would it be?

If you could have 1 WW2 attack plane module, what would it be?

Most Wanted: the angry Naval Lynx | Seafire | Buccaneer | Hawker Hunter | Hawker Tempest/Sea Fury | Su-17/22 | rough strip rearming / construction
