We were testing the Thunder Of Kojori mission on Eno's Firehouse yesterday -- before this new patch. This mission has a bad habit of crashing after about an hour -- lots of units and events.

 

It ran for over three hours but then it did hang. I expect that Eno will post the logs if he has not already.

 

Things I noticed --

I could not Load Profile for my HOTAS Warthog from my v126 saved profiles. The KB profile was correct and the Joystick and Throttle assignments would appear in the Controls menu in v127, but the Save button would not work. All I could do was press Cancel, and none of my button assignments worked in the game.

 

The other thing is that Vaziani Tower doesn't respond to Start Up requests. (I think that may be a known issue.)

should I download 1.2.6 then apply 1.2.7 or apply 1.2.7 directly onto 1.2.5? what are the benefits? which one is more stable for singleplayer testing? 6 or 7? thanks

1.2.7 Beta is standalone, you have to download the web installer.

If you don't already have DCS World installed you will have to download and install the entire thing which will be 1.2.6 and then add 1.2.7 beta as a separate build. Click HERE for link to 1.2.7 beta. If you already have DCS World installed then just download the 1.2.7 beta and you will then have 2 sets of icons on your desktop. Then you can choose which one to use for testing purposes or anything else. If you have 1.2.5 and have never updated 1.2.5 to 1.2.6 then it's probably wise to update that first then get 1.2.7 beta.

Having a recent version of DCS World already on the machine is a consideration because the v1.2.7 installer will first copy files from a local install before getting changed files from ED. This greatly reduces the download time for the beta.

I installed the Huey using the string

& just checked the axis commands for my flight controls to make sure they were OK.

Thanks for the suggestion SkateZilla, tried that & had no success.

 

At the moment if I select Solo Landing Practice in the training mission, I have the Huey flying straight & level & the control panel indicating collective ,cyclic & rudder all assigned for straight & level flight any movement of my controls doesn't affect the Huey's attitude & the only thing on the keyboard which helps is the escape button & I'm back to square one.

No you do not need to buy them again. Open the module manager and press the tab "installed". You will need to install them all again and set up the controls once this is finished. You also do not need to de-activate them from 1.2.6. You can open 1.2.7 open Beta or you can run DCS world 1.2.6 as you will have 2 choices. MP Servers running 1.2.6 do not show up in 1.2.7 but other than that. I have not really noticed anything other than what is in the official updates

detection distance real EOS 45km = 27mi 1692.6yd.

please no one is stupid to believe that the real EOS can detect a target as a long distance please fix this.

in the meantime I will not fly DCS/FC3 F-15C

and recommend that anyone buy FC3 in hopes of flying a simulator

it is still just a game .

Posts Like this are Counter-Productive and only start back and forth arguments, if something like this (EOS) Is incorrect, please submit a bug report w/ Trk file and data in the proper section.

 

These : "It's broke, fix it, I wont play until it's fixed" comments do not help anyone.

 

Not to mention the repeat cross posting of the same post from different threads
