Yeah I don't understand it. For some everything's fine. I don't have a fresh Win11 install (but it's basically stock settings) and I have both Meta Oculus and Virtual Desktop installed. Might be it.

I cant tell because i have no comparisson. But in my opinion the quest 3 has a minimum resolution. Reading small details on the middle MFD in the hornet ist barely satisfying. I would go for a Cristal super but its too expansive. So I went for quest 3 cause in my calculation it was the best effordable value. And I am quite satisfied. But yeah pixels only substitute by more pixels.

Hello, I asked above about the difference between the Quest 3 128GB and 512GB and I got the answer. Now I find that it's Quest 3 S and not Quest 3 Because I noticed a difference in resolution both in 4K but with the Quest 3 better resolution than the Quest 3S. For those who have Quest 3, is the difference in resolution between the two Quests clearly visible or barely visible? Please help me.

By hitting Left alt +F1 we get a hud only view. I would like more options in this for replay. By hitting the same command several times. You could cycle between 1. the one that is now(hud and screens) 2. Full screen hud no screens) 3. And full screen screen (cycling between left and right. This would make my life so much easier when making vidoes. As of now if I want a large screen of the MFD or other screen. I have to either move the F1 view in the cockpit and zoom in on the screens(this won't work in the Apache as the monocle is superimposed in the F1 in replay unless you turn it off during the mission. Or I have to use the left alt + F1 view and try and edit out the the rest of the screen causing lower resolution And at other times it would be nice to just have a clean hud view to make hud cam views.

Писал уже в западной ветке в разделе багов ГС3, но еще продублирую сюда. Самолет МиГ-29С обстрел цели с помощью Р-77 что в режиме ОЦ или СНП2. Производится жесткий захват цели что в первом режиме что во втором. И конечно же о пуске знает противник. Однако в реальности это так не работает. Так как для наведения Р-77 не требует постоянный "под свет" цели. Более того она с постоянным "под светом" и не работает. Все наведение осуществляется только в СНП режиме что в режиме сопровождения одиночной цели что двух. Противник должен узнать о пуске только после того как активируется ГСН ракеты

My Pimax Crystal Super is buttery smooth at its full resolution, though with eye tracking and Quadviews activated. But because the eye tracking is so darn good, it´s increadibly clear and super smooth. Usually I am between 80-90 fps, but I have locked it to 72 to have some headsroom and keep it stable and avoid stutter. Why people have issues - I don´t know. I see some of them use task manager to change priorities for the CPU, others use special programs to choose which core does what in DCS and Windows and Pimax Play ... I have not done that at all. No changes in windows. Game Mode ON probably. Not sure. HAGS ON, GameBar ON, Everything is at stock setup for Windows 11 and in the Bios too. No overclocking either. I have AMD 9950X3D, RTX 5090, 64Gigs of RAM @6000Mhz speed. ALSO - this is on a new machine with a totally clean install of Windows 11. No Open XR Toolkit either. I am using mbucchias quadviews with its companion app to set quadviews settings, and have not activated Pimax Play Quadviews because of that. Can´t have both. I think that my clean Windows 11, with no other headset installs before this one, keeping everything as they are supposed to be (besides using the external quadviews install and its companion app) --- makes it stable, crystal clear and smooth. It is possible.

I tried an ILS approach on Bardufoss RWY28 following the IFR charts that come default with the map. The localizer was showing way right when I was lined up on the runway. The IFR chart doesn't seem to indicate an offset, and if I tried to fly the localizer as indicated I would hit that small hill that's about a kilometer east of the field. Anyone else noticed this?

Germany and Marianas are the maps ...thats all. Everything else is good..

If you don't have one you should get a jetseat or equivalent of it. That's gonna leap you on another level of immersion. And i still enjoy VR with a much worse setup than you have. Still with minimum settings it's so much more enjoyable than a flight on the screen with more bells and whistles.

No RCAF? Once again the sadness takes hold.
