I had the same issue until I realised I had bound the MCDU MENU key; this key shuts down the bridging app.

The jet has no range. "Going high" will stretch any jet's range by a good margin. The Mirage F1 has about similar internal fuel to the MiG-29 and will outrange it without effort. No worries there, as it splits that fuel by half the number of engines. Being 150 miles from base at low altitude is a non-issue with the F1. With the 29, you better get your butt up to high altitude for the cruise part, or diverting because of weather can be an issue. Now, if you're doing severe-clear warthunder stuff, that won't bother you, as you won't divert ever. If you're dialling up the realism a bit, then factors beyond turning every kilogram of fuel in your tank into noise will start playing a role.

Just updated to the latest version this morning and now it won't even load. I get the main home screen with the MIG-29 on it. Hit launch. I get the NVIDIA splash screen and the DCS splash screen and then nothing. The LOG stops at ASYNCNET request for dcs logout failed. No clue what that means. I attached it down below...Any insight would be great. Thanks! dcs.log

Could you recommend some servers/groups for helicopter flying, particularly UH-1H? I'm in Poland (ping matters). I don't have much time to play but I would like to fly some co-op missions for example. Like playing the Ground Attack - Hard (Instant Action) but with a human as a wingman. I can even do some Huey dogfighting , just for fun...

Our Soviet 1983 MiG-29 9.12 would be a counterpart for the F-16C Block 25 from 1984 or even F-16A Block 15 from 1981, maybe an F/A-18A from 1983. To some extend F-14A and F-15C from 1970s/early 1980s. But this are not really a strict counterparts as both countries had vastly different doctrines, due to many reasons. F-4 entered service in 1962, our upgraded variant in 1972 but in its core it was still a late 1950s 2nd generation design. No point looking for a direct counterparts though. Our MiG-29 9.12 is suited for all the late Cold War scenarios at its prime; 1980s Europe over divided Germany map, Desert Storm over Iraq/Kuwait. And 1990s Ethipia-Erithrea war, Balkan wars and more, it's i limited use even today, often non modernized since 1980s. It's a lot, arguably the hottest and most content packed period in DCS.

It is certainly looking pretty good in my limited testing. I've had three or four other times where I've thought it was possibly resolved following a patch though.

1st be sure to use the latest verstion ( 1.4 beta at this time , but here are the releases https://github.com/landre-cerp/McduDcsBiosBridge/releases ) and the readme instructions. https://github.com/landre-cerp/McduDcsBiosBridge/blob/main/README.md Common mistakes: Check DcsBiosLocationPath uses \\ not \ "c:\\Users ...." Note that i changes the .Exe name to WWCdu instaed of MCdu . i will update the Readme accordingly.

Yes, I double-checked this creating a simple mission with a 2-plan flight and asking my wingman to "go to tanker". If I then call the tanker I will get the starboard hose. If I call the tanker first and then ask wingman to hit the tanker, I will get the port hose. Played around a bit on this and pretty sure this is how it works.

SRS version is NOT YET updated for the Mig-29A, just wait for the new version.

On the editor the radio channels starts from 1 but on the cockpit the channels starts from 0. Maybe thats the issue.

I can´t remember anything that could cause your issue besides wrong folder path, or, the mentioned on my previous comment. I´m sorry i couldn´t help you further.

I was so hyped for this release since I really love Soviet technology, but there were a few things that immediately jumped at me within 1 minute inside the cockpit that gave me a bad mood for the rest of the evening: cockpit units and those horrible visor reflections. At least both have been acknowledged by ED and will get fixed. I'll still fly it. Other than the units, the cockpit is HeatBlur-level of quality (really REALLY well done), and I simply love how it flies: Soviet DCS modules always 'clicked' with me

Yes I am one of them as well: I don't mind paying more if it means every single module is at least on par with A-10C when it comes to depth. Yes, that happened to me many many times: I have flown dead stick Ka-50s with missing pylons and tail shot off many times: sweaty hands guaranteed because of the hard work! I hope MiG-29 will sell very well!

Map: Caucasus Airbase: Anapa Singleplayer. Radio Not Working: On following the cold start procedure, I'm unable to contact the tower to request engine startup. I set up the radio channels as follows: 1 = 121.00 Mhz AM 5 = 250.00 Mhz AM Both are the correct frequencies for Anapa tower. Yet, after powering the radio, and selecting the correct channels, I'm unable to contact the tower. Gyro Bug: According to Wags' startup video, we are to switch off the Main Gyro and see if the Standby Gyro works correctly (which is logical and I feel correct). However, in the MiG-29 manual provided by ED, it says to switch off the Standby Gyro to see if the HSI works correctly (This works as intended). If I follow Wags' startup video, the HSI just goes off...and never realigns. I know I maybe wrong, but it feels like Wags' video tutorial is correct and logical. Track attached showing the bugs. OXRTK still works fine. The turbo mode issue was related to something else.
