  2. Noice!! Will there be a NATO side to the assets?
  3. Been experiencing this intermittently as well, same symptoms. Out of curiosity, does everyone here have force feedback stick bases? My working theory was that I was noticing it occurring more after I reslot from or otherwise switch from a different module. Like I was setting proper takeoff trim but it’s like the FFB stick wasn’t properly reset/recentered from previous flight and wasn’t giving me the proper range of authority. Now seeing that it’s a semi-commonly encountered issue has me back to being perplexed. Like it’s not even rolling in the right direction for a torque roll or snap roll. And seems like any gyroscopic precession from slightly raising the nose a little for liftoff should be superseded by all prevailing left-turning tendencies. Also peculiar that it happens upon air start as well.
  4. I've decided to include a T-62M with the new Cold War assets.
  5. +1
  6. The "DCS: World War II Assets Pack" includes a very nice fully Animated Smoking German Class 86 Steam Locomotive. Adds a lot of WW2 Atmosphere !
  7. Yeah, just tried it. SAS on or off, no pedal input required to pull into a hover.
  8. The HOTAS is really simple so really up to you this is from the manual
  9. Fantastic Detail even users who just fly around in DCS with no enemies or ammo will love these updates Also great for youtube video producers to showcase DCS . Check in that old cardboard box under your bed for your 50 yo Subbuteo players great for creating models and textures - dont model the Goal Keeper Handle or the Bases I am going to have to break all the DCS rules and actually make myself some crowd overlays for the stands and players on the pitch linesmen and a ref plus a ball Yes even Police on Horses and Vandelised Football Special Train coaches with smashed windows taking the loosing crowd back home " Dont spit out your Coffee they are for my own private use " I realise that uploading life like things to the files site could get me some Naughty Points or even banned from DCS and i dont need that just yet The enforced empty lifeless DCS can be a bit disturbing at times @MAESTRO London Kings Cross Railway Station would be Nice
  10. Hello @WINWING and @WinwingTech are you guys going to give us ANY heads up???
  11. Since we have more and more Cold War content, it would be great to get the Nike Hercules system as well. I see someone started to do a mod but of course it's better to have an official add-on.
  12. The navigation system is basically just copy and paste for anything Soviet of the era, Su-25, MiG-23, Su-17/24, Su-27 (except that one has a lot of extra function built on top of the same system).

Sleighzy, first of all, I have to thank you for your kind reply. I have 5 mods installed, and I don't know if that's a lot. Maybe not a lot. I actually didn't know you could delete the fxo and metashaders2 cache files. I did that anyway. The ParkControl program was also a great tip. Thanks! I'm reducing the preload radius to 60,000. I excluded DCS from antivirus monitoring a while ago. Thanks again.
  15. Bottom line, to answer OP - yes it seems it has. ED have sold it, made their money, moved on to new shiny modules. Poor Mosquito deserved a LOT better than what it got here...
  16. I have owned the WWII pack since it came out I believe it is must...
  17. Because there is simple no need - there are numerous onboard videos of a Mossie rebuilt in NZ flying low level around Auckland without the warning horn sounding, including views of the manifold pressure, throttle position etc. Even the warning horn sounding in flight when he pulls the power RIGHT BACK to maintain slow formation. It also just takes having room-temperature IQ to know that flying around at MAX CONTINOUS power setting of 7 lbs of boost you WOULD NOT have the gear warning horn blaring the entire time - I mean REALLY? The boost/throttle position relationship is just wrong. I mean I could just ring up some mates working in Auckland rebuilding the things - by why bother, ED would just completely ignore my input anyway. The entire power delivery of the DCS Mossie has been totally incorrect for years and ED steadfastly refuse to admit it. Is the same as the Airspeed indicator reading TEMP of MPH - these aircraft were developed by computer programmers that simply have no idea about the aircraft they are developing, which is fine (not having a dig at the devs 9Line!) - but they need to accept when they have implemented the operation incorrectly, or misread an image of an ASI where the needle was obviously covering the wording (and as they do not know any better - anyone even remotely educated in aircraft knows you don't measure the temperature of your speed....) implement the wrong info/operation. I think ED would gain a lot of respect from their community if they were more willing to admit they were wrong and make effort to correct. Have been flying DCS for a very long time and it is very common to see ED adamantly profess their particular FM or system is absolutely 100% correct and has been tested by in-house SME's etc and is operating correctly...then 2 years later, X aircraft FM to receive complete overhaul (thinking of one specific fighter in particular...). Really? What happened to 100% correct? I realize it is probably easier to shut people up in the forums if you just refuse to admit it is in fact not correct, is just a shame that's all, as things like the Mossie just never get 'fixed'. Just my 2c, not gonna change anything, but poor Mossie is sitting in my hangar till fixed, and as a Kiwi and ex-RNZAF aircrew that is very sad.
  19. I made some adjustments within Pimax and it seems to work fine for me now. I still have the same settings within DCS that are pictured in my original post.
  20. MIL Range... 6' dia. pattern, wing root to wing root, drifting back from the spinner. Passed this plane after maybe a 3/4-second burst, and looked back. Like an air-burst chaff cloud. Confetti. Bowie
  21. I also have the yellow indicator needle spinning but only on the Syria map. Stetting up RSBN/PGRM cars on Kola, and Caucasus, the needle holds steady after switching to landing mode. No matter what airbase I set up the RSBN/PGRM cars on the Syria map, the needle spins once landing mode kicks in.
  22. I've been thinking about using velco straps and securing the comms keyboard to my thigh next. I feel it would be easier to use there. So I need to find a thin piece of plastic to mount it on with ordinary velcro first.
  23. I suspect spherical Earth will help with that. One thing about the "feeling" of altitude is just how far the horizon is up there. In DCS, there's no real horizon, the maps are flat. It works at normal mission altitudes if you're not looking too closely, but it's missing the "hey, did I just fly into space?" feeling at the extremes.
  24. Title. I wanted to mute sounds of ATC and Pilot voices in settings, as American accents while flying as other nations is odd. However I now realise that a side effect of doing this is that all "Bettys", all RWR and all tones like missile locks also seem to have been muted? This has happened in AV-8B, F/A-18C, JF-17, F-16C so far that I've tried. Why is "voices" linked to avionics sounds? Or is this a bug..

  25. Thanks, @MadMonty! This worked for me also; I can see the stars on a moonless night, and most, not all, of the glare haze is gone. However, around the SRS text and JHMCS (Viper), there is still a noticeable hazy glow. I don't know if this is realistic (in real life) for the JHMCS at night or not. I flew a sunny day mission at RMS on the Cold War map, and it, too, seemed realistic with scattered clouds. Now to get quadviews working in my favor. I'm still getting the jagged staggers when I look to the side, which isn't good when flying past a ground target I need to hit when I come back around.
  26. In previous updates in the FCR you could see the name of the aircraft and numeral, for example VIPER11 as VR11 in the radar contact simbology, since several updates it is no longer showing it up.
