  6. Precisely. The only mystery is why ED modeled it as non functional in the first place. I guess exchange pilot accounts. Which seems at odds with the overall level of modeling. At least it should be like 2 lines of code to fix.

  12. Testing DCS 2.9.20 .15010 released in this September. Tel Nof AB's slot 23-24 taxi route is only straight out. It causes RW 18, 15L, 33R takeoff time detour with runway-taxing. Left turn will solve it.
  13. Seems odd because DCS clouds has not been an obstacle for many AI routines. Possible issues: Wrong setup for SAMs at mission startup can delay radar deployment, making both sides not attack each other for obvious reasons. Wrong setup for aircraft making them not activating their radars such as 'Nothing' tasking or else. 'CAP' by default makes the AI seek for targets but you need to check their active tasking at their starting point and next waypoints.

Well for me Nvidia user using an RTX 4060 here is my report regarding the 3 antialiasing, after version 2.9 MSAA 2x and 4x were horrible for me there is a lot of brightness and sparkles in the trees the quality is completely ugly, however with MSAA 2x and 4x I have an improvement in relation to the visualization of objects in long distance like aircraft etc without ghost, already TAA + FSR is completely beautiful graphics but leaves something to be desired in the matter that the enemy aircraft practically disappears in front of you causing ghost effect and invisibility in the wings after quick head movements, already with DLAA + DLSS the graphics are exactly excellent, however let's go to the cons ... very large ghost effect on aircraft at a certain distance, making it difficult to see enemy aircraft as well as TAA, conclusion ED urgently needs to get it right and fix these problems, I use practically all my graphics at high and it is unfeasible to use a tool of this type in DCS, the only solution for me that solved the problem a little ghosting effect and the reduction of the brightness of trees and sparkles was (DLAA + Upscaling OFF). Here is my report!

So when selecting first detent on the trigger you get a circle highlighting the actual target if you have a current radar lock, and your inside a certain distance. typically outside of 50km you will just get the gun funnel if you press the first detent. However if you close to within 30km it will flicker from the gun funnel to the circle with the locked target. Then once inside 30km you will just get the circle around the locked target like in the picture below: While handy, I think this is likely a current bug, and the ranges are way off for this to appear that far off outside of gun employment range.
  16. Yes, it does. And in helicopters it can also move on its own if you have handed over flight controls to the copilot, as long as force trim is enabled (this works exceptionally well in the Kiowa for example). This is a very welcome and interesting feature since it allows for seamless hand-off of controls in multiplayer for example, as long as both players have a FFB stick (I don't know if it actually works, but using this technique it is possible). FFB truly is a gamechanger

  18. I can agree with you that the Iraq map doesn't have that sort of polished feel that Afghanistan is at currently. I mean then again I haven't been on the Iraq map in a long time (a few weeks), but I also look at it that it's still work in progress textures, which the finished product (or out of Early Access feel) or whatnot will yield better results. I don't set my expectations high when it's Early Access, because it's at the beta stage, and through experience and prior work, it's just how the company rolls as far as quality. I mean if it were a finished product I would complain more, but not so much when it's still being developed.
  19. Well, i don't even see a scrap of difference between take off and landing flaps. They set to the exact same position regardless. No mater if i use a toggle, key binding or cockpit clickable control. I don't know what i'm doing wrong. And yes i've had this issue with "flap reversal" on landing. That said, this module is fantastic so far (for an early access).
  20. I flown MiG-29 FC3 without issues and rarely used trim. You'll be good, even without pin point precision.
  21. When I switched from a VKB Gladiator to a WinWing ViperAceEX (first with standard Orion II base, then with the MFSSB base), I've lost the ability to perfectly trim the roll axis. Nothing I have done in SimAppPro or adding the roll trim control on the left hip panel to another axis can get a perfect trim. I don't know if this is accurate and you need constant stick input. Drives me nuts. I wish the roll trim axis could be tuned like the stick pitch and roll, I need really minute control, I think, to get an asym load trimmed enough to give me heads down time working a mission activity.

  23. This had me so confused, I saw clearly see sam smoke on the MFD I then hit VR zoom and the smoke is gone.
