А еще. Тезисы. Миг 29 нет адекватному ему времени противника(кроме F-4e). Все американские "подростки" модификации чарли блоков нулевых годов... Дак дайте продаться МиГу хорошо, полюбите его. Лет через 10 не будет места для расширения DCS в сторону современности. Все подростки выпущены, кроме пятнашки, и то скоро сделают. Только в сторону холодной войны или модификаций уже выпущенных. С темпом-самолет в год, я не вижу куда ED расти. И верю придет момент, когда и Миг 29С будет полноценнен. И до хотя бы су27ск (с активными ракетами) дело дойдет.

You're confusing aircraft simulator with following procedures simulation and expecting too much from the game. Yes, DCS is study type combat flight simulator, a sub genre of video game. It's a kind of sandbox. You are given aircraft, physics and the world. You decide what happens there. It's made for entertainment. Some things won't be modeled due to different reasons like current PC performance, time and money to create it, scope of the project or even military secrecy.

i understand you and agree with module to be as feature rich as possible and reliably working upon EA but i hate to be the one to say that "pilot body" is not a critical part for an aircraft to work, it is though part of the final package you are right F-16 had rough start but i would not judge its progress / quality by adding pilot body at later stages, in my eyes they set their priorities rather well regarding Eurofigher, Mig-29 or any other future model i would hope to see the aircraft flight model and systems be prioritized before such things as pilot body do not get me wrong i do not want to undermine your comment, just to point out that priorities are what is important to set correctly and do not judge current or future modules by lack of some features that actually might not be so crutial in a module to work properly and thus can be added at later stages of development / EA

This is a DCS problem not just the Corsair.

Not relevant to the bug itself, this should probably be moved to discussions. From what I've seen ED do, it's mainly to keep "balance". Like increasing the air friction on the LD-10 so it performs worse than a harm, same with the SD-10. Or they increase the RCS so that an LD-10 or SDB can actually be seen by a SAM even though they probably couldn't see them, etc.

I had interesting issue with 9M38M1, which lost track but kept climbing and accelerating in ballistic trajectory. Visually the motor was depleted but missile behaved like it wasn't. It eventually reached 10k kn TAS and 300k ft of altitude. can you provide us with the mission in question

You probably want to compare the rate of control surface deflection to see if there is a difference. At 300 knots for example. Move the stick back as rapidly possible and observe if there is a rate of deflection difference.

Thank you, MAXsenna and mkdI2010, but I want to make sure I understand. When you say set turned off deadzones, we are not talking about Axis Tuning in control settings, correct? My other question is, what do you have your Axis Tuning settings?

Смею предположить, что СНП2 соответствует режиму СНП на щитке РЛС. И надо было просто кнюппелем навести строб захвата последовательно на 2 цели. И вряд ли с возможностью переключения между ними. Банально-а какая кнопка бы отвечала за это (концепция HOTAS и сейчас вроде не в почёте на наших самолётах) ? А ЕД реализовало что как будто бы тумблер (вот не вспомню как он называется) в положении автомат (автозахват). Ну и ближайшие две цели по скорости сближения захватываются в автомате, как и в ГС3. И вероятно это все при подвешенных Р-77, иначе чем от обычного СНП бы это отличалось. А и да, в первом абзаце это про режим "ручной" получается. Дисклеймер. Все вышесказанное, основано на логических предположениях. После ухода Чижа с форума, мне уж страшно писать о технике "не имеющей аналогов". Хотя это все в том же ГСном F-15 также.

I'm completely reliant on turbo mode to hugely reduce stutters on DCS. Open XR toolkit works very well with DCS. Using a quest pro.

Make sure you test the three different collars, too. I've got the long stick, so I'm using the small collar. And you do know how to calibrate it after you change components right?...

That is absolutely true and probably the greatest limit to simulation.
