  1. Past hour
  2. If I read it right, the AARGM has that capability, not the D. Anyway my bad.
  3. The newest DCS version 2.9.18.12722 introduces breaking changes to net.dostring_in(). These changes, which I consider fundamentally flawed, break many third party missions and scripts that heavily rely on net.dostring_in(), including my web console. While I hope that these careless changes will be reverted ASAP, here's an exemplary autoexec.cfg that re-enables net.dostring_in() for trusted Lua states: -- allow use of net.dostring_in() from privileged Lua states -- https://forum.dcs.world/topic/376636-changes-to-the-behaviour-of-netdostring_in/ -- Lua states from which net.dostring_in() can be called -- WARNING: DO **NOT** ADD "scripting" AS THAT WOULD MAKE DCS VULNERABLE TO ARBITRARY -- CODE EXECUTION FROM MALICIOUS MISSION FILES! net.allow_unsafe_api = { "gui", "server", "userhooks" } -- Lua states that can be accessed via net.dostring_in("state", ...) net.allow_dostring_in = { "config", "export", "gui", "mission", "scripting", "server", "userhooks" } On a side note, the a_do_script() return value pass-thru has returned with 2.9.18.12722. It was initially added with 2.9.13.6818 and silently removed in 2.9.15.9408 to fix a segmentation fault. Following in its first incarnation's footsteps, the reincarnation of a_do_script() return value pass-thru is also broken, so we'll have to stick with the temporary file workaround for now.
  4. I keep reading and hearing about this word "Promise" can someone please point me to the official statements from either side that contain the word "Promise" please. I promise my girlfriend I wont spend money on DCS modules again, but do it anyway... promises can be empty, nothing legal about them. face value etc.
  5. The mod is broken after the July 22nd update. The Discord channel says to wait for a new version or a fix.
  6. Thank you very much for all the hard work. Since I found DML I have been making all the missions for my squad and the saved time and effort with your tools has been amazing. Good luck and I hope that we see you again here. Bob Makowsky
  7. Hi, My osb displays button text are missing which I use the AAQ-33. nullWhat can I do?
  8. you need to make a SPI before release with tms fwd long : switch target, tms, release, switch etc.
  9. We're blessed to have so many legal experts who enjoy flying in DCS...where would be with them, and the self entitled consumers too... ? And in the mean time, Razbam modules are still very much enjoyable.
  10. Nope. No GM1 tank fitted. Double nope. See above.
  11. Since that is the reference material for the approval of GM-1 at 80gr/sec in the BMW801D2 engine it says EXACTLY what I have told you. And for the third time: LOL. Okay let's walk you through it using the specific instructions from Focke Wulf and BMW. 1. What is the only engine the FW-190A8/R11 came from the factory with? A. Chevy 350 V8 B. Lycoming O-360A1A C. BMW801Q (BMW801TU) *hint - its the same motor found on the NORMAL FIGHTER Variant that crashed in England in August 1944. You know the airplane that wasn't an R11... The FW-190A8/R11 operated by II/JG301 for example: https://www.ww2.dk/oob/bestand/jagd/biijg301.html 2. True or False "The BMW801Q engine came equipped from the factory to use GM-1" A. True B. False It's an open book test so I will give you a hint: *GM-1 is mentioned right here in the Engine Installation manual...the document the guy picking up a wrench uses... How do we know this was ground reality? Well, we have an airplane with this exact engine equipped from the factory to use GM-1: The British conclude it was equipped to use it.
  12. We have fixed this issue as described below. Take into account that this will only be available in a forthcoming DCS update: Cockpit livery selection was added to the module options. It returns the ability to use custom cockpit liveries. In particular the "Mirage F1 English Cockpit CE and EE version" user mod. Note that the mod contents should be modified by renaming 'default' folders to 'english'.
  13. I'm struggling with JDAM delivery using MT mode with the new pod. I have multiple targets selected in point track, so all have the square around them, with one with the circle, that stage has worked well... Once within range, I release a JDAM, then TMS right to cycle through the target list, and see the circled target does indeed move, together with the crosshairs. However all the JDAMs. hit the same target. Not sure what I'm doing wrong or if this is a bug. Can record a video of this in a bit.
  14. Well, I've also had some slight lags during flight without using the UI or doing anything which seem to also be dependant on multicrew. But apart from that, it's just the HB UI
  15. Court System, Is not limited to actual use of the Court Rooms, Trials, etc. But if we want to get technical, Mediation is prolly the accurate term for the current phase. Something like:
  16. So this was posted on Friday, July 25 and the sale lasts only until Monday July 28. Seems a bit weird to call it a "midweek" sale!
  17. Thats why we are here waiting for the outcome.
  18. I’ll take your word for it, I don’t AAR in aircraft that use this. What part of that is broken exactly? I still see the lights there in your screenshot.
  19. Is only the HB UI lagging but the rest of DCS works as usual and without lag? You might be running into this rare issue that we had before launch, causing the delay of the release. Which was then fixed for all testers. Mh, odd stuff.
  20. Seems like Chuck's Guide IS the official manual.
  21. Perhaps they should stop advertising that it has English documentation then. Thank goodness for the Chuck's Guide on this module.
  22. It's broken man.
  23. I've figured out a workaround: right after the helicopter spawns, use the trigger "Set Internal Cargo On Unit" as quickly as possible to add some weight to it. The weight shouldn't be too large, but it needs to exceed the takeoff load. In ME, set WP1 very close to WP0 and set the "Perform Task - Land" action to the position where you want it to wait on the ground, along with setting the "On land" duration. Then the helicopter will stay on the ground with its engine running and wait. It might even keep its cargo door open. If you want to end the waiting state and take off, just set the takeoff condition in the "Condition" section and remember to remove the extra weight. By the way, the extra weight may prevent the helicopter from performing the "Embarking" task properly.
  24. Nah, still waiting for my delivery, might take more than 1 month
  25. Change the channel, your brain is stuck on GM-1, LOL. It's not a mystery. The instructions are very clear. The equipment is very clear. It was approved for the 80gr/sec use in July 44. Definitely, every FW-190A8/R11 came equipped to use it. It's use in the BMW801D2 engine was approved but not recommended. The BMW801Q and BMW801S series came standard with it. Drawbacks: 1. It's heavy and unlike the normal 115 liter fuel tank, you are not using it up while you fly to the combat zone thereby decreasing your weight. Fuel is more useful. GM-1 gives you no viable performance boost unless you are operating in the Altitude band above 8km and there it gave the FW-190A8 a 58kph increase in speed at Climb and Combat Power. Below that, it is just extra weight. 2. It cannot be readied the night before or allowed to sit for long periods. It must be filled and used within a 6-8 hr time frame. It will leak out of the system. Therefore, your alert flights have to be filled just as they come on duty and the system pressure monitored. This was a huge problem for the British as their transit times to the combat zone were much longer. 3. It is extremely flammable and Liquid Nitrous requires special handling/equipment. The Germans used Liquid Oxygen daily which is even worse so unlike the Royal Airforce at least the Ground crews were already familiar with the procedures and equipment for handling such HAZMAT. The fill ports for the Liquid Nitrous were external and it could be done directly from the portable fill tank cart. You just plugged it in and open the valves to pressurize the system. Those valves must O2 clean and not come into contact with any Petroleum based products just like every Pilot O2 Oxygen system in existence no matter if is liquid or compressed. BTW. There are many more BMW801Q engines and BMW801S engines in existence today than there are BMW801D2's. The BMW801D2 is extremely rare to find and it took years of searching to find one that could be rebuilt for White 1. Guess what motor is Displayed at the BMW Museum: Notice the Rocker Box Housings modification to simplify maintenance and Exhaust Routing for Cylinders 9-10... BMW801D2 for comparison, Notice the Rocker Box Housing: Notice the exhaust routing on Cylinders 9-10: Here is the FW-190A8 that is on display getting ready for display. Notice what engine it has....
  26. Thankfully wwiiaircraftperformance is back online! http://www.wwiiaircraftperformance.org/fw190/td284.pdf Blatt 2: "[...] Kampfleistung." No mention of GM1 equipment for Rüstsatz 11 (Blatt 4).
