Grazie delle risposte. Mi chiedevo se il problema fosse dovuto al fatto che ho installato i due aggiornamenti (il principale di fine luglio e le fix successive) insieme o se si trattava di un aggiornamento di sistema che si era cumulato nel frattempo (ma la maschera indicava chiaramente che DCS richiedeva il riavvio).

@Someone I originally said I was not purchasing this bird, even though I wanted it, due to ED's lack of updated ground units and features, but after listening to your Enigma interview and being a Software Engineer myself, I can hear the devotion you have in your product. Also, the details you provided on the process was insightful. So I just added the Herc to my collection on pre-order. Keep up the great work.

Well what the heck. I guess it wasn't a bug. I looked all over in the manual but this is all I found on page 65, I guess I never added 2 and 2 together as it wasn't mentioned in the rearm and refueling page specifically. Thanks a lot man, I appreciate you! NOT A BUG. Operator error!

The VEAO Hawk was substandard at best...the A4 development team were miles ahead in terms of development and they released it as a free module !! ED requires high(er) standards since the VEAO issue when it comes to 3rd party developers, hence why future 3rd party developers source codes were to be held in escrow.

Unfortunately, I disagree with you. I'm basing this on real-life knowledge and procedures from my unit. Three minutes after activating the heading system, set the switch to the MK position and press the sync button. It should display the heading of the helicopter you're facing. Then, switch to GPK. So much for real-life knowledge. I don't know how accurately all of this is reflected in DCS. I'll have to fly a longer route and check it out. There's one more thing. Before takeoff, I check the magnetic declination in the lower cabin. Flying solo, offline, I've noticed that it doesn't always match what's shown on the map under the F10 key. Following on from this, have EG and other map publishers considered that magnetic declination varies for different dates? I doubt it, so I rely solely on what's written on the F10 map.

Поменяйте пожалуйста шрифт Open Sans Bold в сообщениях миссии на какой-нибудь monospaced шрифт (фиксированный em на символ), чтобы можно было делать нормальные ascii арты и таблицы. С текущим шрифтом это невозможно, т.к. всё едет в зависмости от содержимого объекта.

Hello, greetings to administrators and all users. I have the f14 module and I'm having a crash when I return from a training mission (I'm at the beginning, a penguin) to the game menu screen and reselect a new training mission, it crashes. It doesn't always happen immediately, maybe after 3 or 4 times of replaying a training mission, but it happens every time DCS is running. From the log file, it seems to be a conflict between DCS and this f14 avionics dll file, but I'm not very good at that. I'm attaching the log file for experts to get advice, not only for that but also for setting the processor as the log file says at the beginning. We still see lots of desync issues in multi-crew. FCR returns not displaying in both crew-stations CPG not seeing waypoints that were loaded with the Route Tool prior to a dynamic spawn PLT seeing the TADS drift on the video feed when the CPG uses IAT (intermittently) DL not being configured (and not working) for CPG when everything looks fine for the PLT

I used to like the F4U corsair until flying this module in DCS. It is slow like a snail, handling like a brick. I used to love this plane in IL-2. But flying this plane in DCS is like a pain in the a$$. Acceleration is a misery, turning is a gambling. Although I can land this plane on carrier for the first attempt and never failed. I owned all the other warbirds and flying prop planes is fun to me, except this Corsair. how come a fast, strong plane named whistle of death is like this ? I tried dogfighting with P-47 and it was a struggling to keep up with that P-47. I don't really understand. I may refund this plane if it is possible.

Reasonable? Probably not. Except that DCS is a niche of a niche of a niche market. So your realistic choices are that they have really slow development (because that's all they can afford since it's a pretty tiny user base) or you don't have anything. If it was easy/profitable to make something like DCS you can bet that there would be competitors (even crappy ones) in the market.

Bon jour. Have you tried a repair? If not, disable MODS first. Does the error happen on other planes besides Corsair?

I have a question: will it be possible (without having to edit the lua file) to assign (fictitious of course) a C-130 aircraft to Finland - Ilmavoimat? (I ask because although it is almost always possible, in the case of e.g. F14 I have to edit the file again after each DCS update).

I'll do the best I can to describe this since I don't have any screenshots, video or data. I can only speak for the center tank because that's all I've used. In the F/A-18C, you can take off, burn the center drop tank, land with it still attached, rearm and refuel and it will put a full, fresh, tank on the A/C so you have full fuel when you take off again. If you do this exact same procedure in the F-16C you will NOT get a fresh center tank it will be empty. You either have to remove the tank in the rearm and refuel menu then add it again in the rearm and refuel menu (so you have to rearm and refuel twice every time) -OR- you MUST jettison the tank in flight. It will NOT give you a fresh, full, tank when you rearm and refuel with it attached from the previous flight even though the rearm and refuel page shows a center fuel tank attached. It will be empty. I have tested this many times and it's like clock work. 100% every single time. Like I said I have not tested this with the wing tanks though. Thanks!
