HSD and HUD showing target at different azimuth
tekwoj replied to tekwoj's topic in Bugs and Problems
@uboats Bad news and good news. Bad news is that the bug? is still there. Good news is I reproduced it and have a track and mission file. It happens when the plane is cold started with heading 000, but the pilot is too lazy to enter 000 during nav align because the heading field is already set to 000. The mission file already has the 2 waypoints added so they don't have to be input by hand like I do in the tracks. The jf-17-000-heading-ok.trk shows that behavior is ok if I input the 000 heading during nav align. 17-nav-test2.mizjf-17-000-heading.trkjf-17-000-heading-ok.trk -
Would be great to have the pilot synced too in MP. At present, you can walk around, but for everyone else on the server - the pilot remains stationary.

That was a real pleasant surprise. Definitely some unique cinematography in there that really made this stand out. Out of curiosity - did you do that 'all by yourself' , or did you have other players helping you to get the shots? Because if it was all by yourself using the track replay function - it takes the impressiveness to a whole new level! (But even if not - still outstanding. Nice work!) I can only imagine how many countless hours went in to making that!

F-14 A/B feature follow-up, wish list and beyond
MAXsenna replied to scommander2's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
I agree with this, and I got used to it in that other SIM with one on each knee. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk -
You have a KР indication on the fuel pannel, for "Концевой Расход". It's a kind of Bingo indicator. It's not supposed to be indicated on the HUD for 9-12 version, but maybe that's a beginning of explanation?

removing deployed CTLD troops via a trigger
toro 6 posted a topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
I am looking for a script or any other solution that allows me to remove CTLD deployed troops via a conditional trigger. by group would be preferred but all would be acceptable as well. thanks for any help on this -

Can you tell me if it's possible to open an .EDM file in 3ds Max or another application? I need to open the cockpit model and convert it to either STL or OBJ format for use in a CAD program.

Canopy sun reflections are very pixelated
RogueSpecterGaming replied to Moxica's topic in Bugs and Problems
You got a screenshot? I don't see what you describe. Also a screenshot of your settings. -
I don't think so. They just reduced the boundaries in the Mission Editor to prevent people from seeing too much of the low fidelity, not-yet-ready area. The "land", if you can call it that, is still there.

RAF Thorney Island, located in West Sussex, served as a base for de Havilland Mosquito operations for various squadrons, including No. 464 Squadron RAAF and the RCAF's No. 404 and No. 407 Squadrons. The base was also used for de Havilland Mosquito conversion courses by the Fleet Air Arm's 704 Naval Air Squadron in the final months of World War II. Would be a brilliant base for short range missions into the France. Mosquito Squadrons at RAF Thorney Island No. 464 Squadron RAAF: This Australian squadron operated from RAF Thorney Island and played a key role in the operations of the 2nd Tactical Air Force. Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Squadrons: No. 404 Squadron: Formed at Thorney Island in 1941, this squadron initially flew the Bristol Beaufighter and the de Havilland Mosquito. No. 407 Squadron: Also formed at Thorney Island in 1941, this squadron used Bristol Blenheims for initial training. 704 Naval Air Squadron: After its formation in 1945, this Fleet Air Arm squadron moved to RAF Thorney Island to conduct de Havilland Mosquito conversion courses for the Royal Navy.

I didn't find KR in Yugoslavian manual. But I found "KD" and AI translated it. See picture. I also found KMOD explained as "KM" index. I think. But, again I am not sure about this KR. Never had this in my playthrough. Could be just a translation to "КД". Or maybe something else.

Try these two files, which are from version 553 (back up the old files, just in case ^^, I can't test this version) MAIN_NextMission.lua DC_Weather.lua

DCS Normandy 2.0 not loading, CTD during loadTerrain
Mav87th replied to Jacobb141's topic in Bugs & Problems
get that with some missions once in a while, and usually find it to be trains. If i delete the trains in the mission they load fine. -
SA-5 is Cold War yes, but If I remember correctly the version in DCS is the updated Syrian version that is still used today. Same with the SA-2.

RCtrl+RShift+ the zoom keys on the keyboard and you'll be able to shift your view forwards or aft. RAlt+Num0 to save the view.
