It sounds pretty easy to resolve from what ED and what Ron has said but from an outsiders viewpoints it seems like egos are the issue here. Certainly RBs performance has been very unprofessional - I've worked for years in software engineering and games development and never seen anyone behave like that - but it's gone on so long now that even a stalwart DCS fan since day 1 like myself is really not understanding how this has spiralled out of control or why a resolution hasn't happened within weeks of these issues between you coming to light and entirely outside of the public sphere.

Also to say that the trim is depending on the FPS of each individual computer. Signals from buttons only checked each frame. -
I miss a repair function for units and groups in the editor. Currently, this can only be solved with scripts, for example by deactivating the damaged group and spawning it again. I would welcome such a function in the Mission Editor, where I can determine after what time and up to what degree of damage a group or unit is ‘repaired’.

Just to be clear you mean “no options from the home tab” right ? Selecting the option for Quadviews crashes DCS for me - ie when I restart DCS and load a mission it crashes I’m also not sure what the point of this option is ? Is it meaning, ie “only apply the shaders to the inner view” - what value does that bring ? - OR is the point of this option to enable selecting techniques, and why would I use techniques instead of just the addon settings ? Or is this meaning , don’t use the addon options, instead select the techniques in the home tab ? guess more explanation of this setting would be helpful -
did you try removing one of those drives? I mean I get it...I spent the better part of 6 months trying to fix DCS with similar issues and being frustrated not being able to play. I rarely fly nowadays because of this stuff, even more so because of VR. It turned out that park control was the only thing I needed, started fresh with DCS and no mods on a fresh M2 drive WITHOUT VR...no process lasso either. Only need one program running in the background and thats windows. Could very well be Nvidia's app or GeForce experience too. I havent tried DCS since the F4U came out, and even then only for like an hour. Havent even tried this patch yet, so honestly dont know what to expect, but Ill have to see for myself today too. Ill report back as well, but

Good ole TH motor - by mid '44 it was projected for a (delayed) serial production in May '45. Never materialized. By that time, Anton production was already ramping down and only Doras and Ta 152s were going to be built from mid '45 (June ~ July) onwards. Range and performance tables of Focke-Wulf (one I have is dated 15 March 45) never mention MW50 or GM1 for the 190A, while mentioning Erhöhte Notleistung for the Anton, MW50 for the Dora and GM1 and MW50 for the Ta 152C and H. BMW - Langenhagen Drift: Did BMW ever go to Langenhagen to do the integration of the GM1 second stage into the TH? When was the date of the report-excerpt you cherry-picked and at which time was the intergation performed and considered done?

I started on the ground, so from the outside view the canopy is open. I will try to close it and re-open to see if the works.

Hi, we are not able to reproduce this crash. I dont think you have any mods if you do remove them, run a slow repair of DCS. If it continues to crash please add fresh logs thank you -

Yes, the ME is not difficult to use and is well worth investing the time. And by using a few random flags it is fairly simple to incorporate an element of uncertainty to your own missions allowing surprises and re-playability. The vast majority of my flying is on missions I have made myself and it will probably remain that way, at least until the DCE is available.

AFAIK you cannot create different folders with different music, but you could write a little batch file or something to swap out the music for whatever you want. The location is: \Program Files\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\F14\Sounds\Walkman (obviously, your install path may be slightly different, but it's not in the savedgames area). As long as your replacement songs have the same names and format, it will play them, but you will have to replace them again on every update. I keep mine in a separate folder, and every time there's an update, I run a batch file that resets various customizations including the songs. After pointing it to the directory I store my music in, the command I use is: copy song*.ogg "C:\Program Files\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\F14\Sounds\Walkman\" >nul -
If the plane has no power, you need to open the canopy, so the ground crew that does the work, can hear you.

I've been writing for a while that a DCS launcher should have a simple thing – a file manager. Something like ORBX invented a long time ago, but not only that, like Steam, GOG etc. You simply specify the path where you want your installation. For example, DCS is on drive C, terrain on drive D, and modules on drive E. I personally have a dedicated drive for DCS that's 4Tb, but many of my friends have stopped buying new maps because they don't have the space on their drives and don't want to delete old maps to install new ones. Furthermore, each patch actually means more space. DCS is hungry and uses up space quickly. I think 2TB is currently too little and will probably last for about a year and a half, but it's also not good to have a drive that's completely full, especially with an NvMe system, with a maximum of 80%.

Mine is doing the same thing! I even removed mods from Saved Games and dropped them back in one by one. All worked until I dropped the Super Hornet into Saved Games. Now freezes at ng.5.

Just purchased the F14 I followed some videos on the quick start where they connect ground and air from the menu, I did that and Jester responds "Connecting Ground Power" but he never comes back and say "All set" no response from Jester, so the ground power remains off. Not sure what I did wrong.

All the basic stuff was checked. It's not that it's not turned on or not installed.

Mind you, aircraft external models and textures will always be downloaded whether you own these modules or not, because they have to be usable on your computer as AI units, or other players' units in MP. But it's the terrain modules that have always had the biggest disc footprint in DCS.
