Mission 10 strangely displays RTB option (inform vader you are bingo) before reaching waypoint 3. At waypoint 3, the expected option appears 'On Station', however selecting yes to on station also accepts the previous and now hidden RTB. Seems a trigger mis-fired too early here. This occurs on first contact with Vader. Continuing from that, JTAC gives coords to a strike request and new question accept/repeat appears, this now doubles response with RTB/AAR, with both responses firing from user selection. EDIT: On further testing, I think I see the cause... I dumped some fuel so perhaps triggered a low fuel state for the trigger too early.

Maybe a First Ever for DCS ! Just finished the Blender Animation of an Epic Custom Built Narrow Gauge Shay Locomotive ! I think She will make an " interesting addition to my Marianas WW2 Train Pack part 2 " Narrow Gauge Shay Locomotives were used for very slow speed heavy logging and sugar trains all over the World . 3 cylinders on the side driving 2 bogies through a long low geared drive shaft with universal joints and bevel gears an 8 Wheel Drive Locomotive. There are some nice inclines on the Marianas islands so could be fun. Still got to do textures and prepare Her for a first test run in DCS. 5060 will outperform the 3060 at say, 1080p for sure but if you're aiming for higer resolutions you will be limited with that 8gb, depends on if you're aiming for monitor use or VR.

No, world slider is for all the environment sounds around you. It will affect the volume of wind, other nearby aircraft, etc. It doesn't change everything, but yes, it will increase the volume of your engine when your canopy is open because that is a sound coming from the outside environment. I keep mine around 50% or less. I absolutely love it at 100%, but since I'm mostly doing multiplayer, it makes it tough to hear my buddies... especially when you're in an external view.

@Cgjunk2, Thanks for the confirmation. I agree with your remarks! I attempted to put things into perspective when it comes to fixing bugs. I would bet dimes to donuts that other game-braking things would be a higher priority to resolve. For example, crash to desktop, incurring damage/landing gear collapse just by spawning into the unit, or engine explodes when applying throttle past 50%.

I just received my Meganex8k and so far its blowing my mind... however, in DCS the game launches on my desktop even when I select HMD. Does anyone know how to get it to launch in the headset?

Simply not true my friend that Herc pilots don't wear helmets. Depends, night time operations under NOD's or in hostile AO's and mission set they wear helmets, and the guys in the back. The very fact they are down low in small arms fire engagement and frag zones not to mention you need to have a helmet on to mount NOD's. Peacetime daytime flying is different and in peacetime yea sure units will fly just with bose headsets etc in the states. Note the trailer was done on the Afgan map, the herc is flown more than just US crews lol. RAF crews flew with helmets daytime and nightime during the Herrick years. To note British crews wear helmets whilst peacetime flying in the UK. It would be misleading to say the USAF crews didnt, because they did wear helmets, depends very much on their role, where they were operating from in Afgan/Iraq, the squadron and mission.

UPD: В общем вопрос решил следующим образом - включил аккумуляторы, включил АЗС СПУ и Команд РС(без включения этого АЗС диспетчер на связь не выходит) и связь с диспетчером наладилась. Если без аккумуляторов, то просто с включенным тумблером "Аэродромное питание". P.S.S. Не понимаю почему до этого не получалось, толи рандомные баги толи ещё чего. Начинал с необходимых тумблеров и АЗС, после отсутствия результата начал усложнять, добавляя уже "ненужные" АЗС, в итоге вернулся к тому, с чего начинал и всё заработало.

I just figured it out! After manually changing the rocket type on station 8 to M-151 (these are really M-282L) there was no profile for the "M-151" so I created that manually through the profile page and everything green! @Yurgon and yes to answer your question M-282L loaded at mission start on stations 4, 8, and 2 per mission editor loadout, then DSMS-INV page, select station 8 (in this case) and cycle to a different rocket type, save, and I'd get the screen shot above. The missing piece was the profile select station 8 (in this case again) then select PROF, then enter name for profile via scratchpad, select OSB with NEW[] next to it on left, then SAVE, and done.
