In the Saved Games - DCS - Log folder you need to find the file - dcs.log. open it and check the date and time in the first line My example - === Log opened UTC 2025-08-25 04:40:37 After that send it to me here. I will check what could be the problem. In this file we can see what caused the crash.

I was hoping for that because I have read that elsewhere too. But didn’t help in my case.

Stay high and try to catch the SAM range limit. It's about 8 miles. Clearly pinpoint the location of the HQ-7B TELAR. Spoiler - during visual reconnaissance you should see that the HQ-7 battery consists of 2 radars, and only one launcher. The best target is the HQ-7B TELAR. Its SAM range is 8 miles. You need to get higher, and at the 8 mile limit throw Hellfire at the targets. The second option is to fly at an altitude of 5 feet above the water. Get to the firing range of the GUN.

Hello it seams that the temperatures in December are between 5° and 16°, however the temperatures for July are from 21° and 45°. Never payed attention to this but there is limitations for Afghanistan map as well (won't check the rest) so in May is from -2° to 43° and December is from -27° to 26°

Hello, I came to complain about the same. However I also tried few Quick Missions included with the map itself for - F-16, FA-18, MiG-29, Su-27, Su-25 and can say that the stutter is a common thing for that map. Must say that is presented in Afghanistan as well but not so often or noticeable as in here.

Unfortunately this is my biggest gripe about the apache. I have yet to see any failure other than Single Engine or the complete loss of the tail boom to simple .50 cal rounds. No systems failures, no fires, I have yet to even see a dual engine failure, which statistically is probably accurate. however I find it crazy that the tail will get completely ripped off before you ever see a hydraulic failure, flight control failure or electronics failure. let alone a fire. I love the apache, but the damage model leaves a LOT to be desired. My biggest killers while flying so far are: pilot/cpg both dying (pretty consistently both, never just one), and tail boom falling off. rarely do i have any other damage that forces me to head home/emergency land. (sorry for necroing a 2 year old post, but after losing the tail boom to 4 shots of .50 cal 2 times in a row i went searching and found naught but despair)

I had the correct path after all,and had renamed "default" to "english",however,even with the english option showing in the drop down list for custom cockpits,I still had the default/non-english cockpit. Turns out that my file "Cockpit-F1EE" was named "Cockpit_F1EE". Thats it. My question now: Is there a list of proper file names for each module in DCS? Thanks!

There you can see the route. You have to copy the mod on the Saved Games folder, not on the mail install. Your folders will have other names of course but the important part is Saved Games\DCS folder (whatever its name is)\Liveries. That folder pointed by the arrow is named "default" when you download the mod. Just change it to "english" and it should appear on the droplist inside the game to select the custom cockpit. You have to do the same for each F1 variant (CE, EE, BE).

Interesting. I haven’t had this one yet. I’ve had it where the right gear won’t go up, but it’s usually after a little bouncy takeoff and an error on my behalf. For my own curiosity, can you post the track file? We have no idea if you had a bad takeoff, got shot up by bandits, etc. Really need to provide more info when throwing up a post like this, otherwise I don’t think anyone would be able to help.

Search Lights Off too Soon.trk See the attached track file. When an aircraft being spotted by searchlights is "killed" as the game defines that term, the searchlights immediately switch off. However, the "killed" unit is still flying, typically just with an engine on fire. Real searchlight crews would probably continue to track the aircraft if only out of fascination at the spectacle, not immediately switch off.

None of this is mission breaking, so not a big deal. Just in light of the polish of the remainder of the campaign it stood out: Chinook Rotor 1-1 crashes in a ball of fire at the south end of the runway Sting 16 and 17 both run over the soldier blocking their jet on the ramp Panther 11 runs over soldier at Echo Sting 11 runs over the soldier at Echo I surely hope that flying at the back end of a tree formation IRL has less turbulence than is modeled in DCS; because that was not my prettiest flying!

Several times now I've had one of the landing gear not extend for landing. The plane flies differently too ,as if only one gear is down.
