  2. No one guarantees that MiG will actually drop in September. It is still planned date and planned dates tend to be missed.
  3. I found last time that it mattered if it was SP, MP local, MP dedicated, regular spawn, or dynamic spawn. Different combinations produced different results. Original post is here. Not at home right now. Can someone test and update the thread with results?
  4. All warbirds do this. Even the AI aircraft like A20 does it. Not a Corsair spesific
  5. Problem: At the moment ground units placed into single group can not be moved from F10 individually. Attempt to plot the path from F10 leads to whole group being moved in pre-selected formation. Individual movement is possible only by jumping directly into the unit and then driving it manually, which is often impractical. Proposed solution: Introduce additional formation called Individual, represented as a singl3e white dot in drop down menu. When this formation is selected and specific unit is selected, plotting the route shall be applied only to selected unit. The remaining units shall remain in place. I hope this would be a low hanging fruit, as long as the order of formations and their corresponding identifiers are not changed.
  6. I'd also like to hear about the Su-17/22 that was once teased, and about the planned MiG-21 overhaul...
  7. Quest Pro -- performance boost from eye tracking is huge!
  8. This happened to me many times. I hit AI Corsair with 20mm cannon (in D9 or A8) a cut his tail off, but Corsair continued with new tail. Only way to kill him quickly is rip one wing. Please, do something with damage model.
  9. Glad to hear The fix wasn't mentioned in the notes, hence my post. Will give it a try.
  10. I tried and it is fixed.
  11. DCS system resolution: shows the VR image on your monitor in the resolution that you have selected in the DCS settings. Crop to rectangle: the VR image would normally show on the screen witz some corners cut off. With that option selected, it will be….well, as it says…cropped to a rectangle. I think none of that is of any relevance, unless you want to stream or record while flying in VR
  12. Hi, These are the same standard training missions of the Corsair, but ported to the Marianas WW2 Map. Sincerely, the Training that @Don Rudi published a week ago is more complete and detailed, so I debated with myself for a few days if it was worth it or not to share these, but today I decided that it couldn't hurt to have more missions available for the Corsair so here they are: (link to be added once the File is approved by ED) BTW, to whoever manages this part of the Forum, I'd love to have a "Missions & Campaigns" Sub-forum, in addition to the current "Wishlist" and "Bugs & problems", please? Here is a little walkthrough of some of these missions: Best regards, Eduardo
  13. New release to reflect changes in todays update.
  14. New version for today's update.
  15. Back on topic, I asked this a month ago and got no response. It's mentioned that the aircraft is being based on a manual available on Amazon, which manual? There's a few of them.
  16. The specific known issue was condensed in the changelog. There is still work in progress in regards to making the IRIS-T SLM asset behave more realistic.
  17. It´s crawling. Progress is there, but texturing the cockpit is really cumbersome. Also was rather sidetracked for the last few weeks. RL and such.
  18. The exact same waveform exists in sidelobes and the missile has no way of telling whether it's in the main or sidelobes. How well it can detect track sidelobes should pretty much be entirely dependent on the transmitted power of the radar and its radiation pattern. Don't forget the Shrike has guidance sections for (even examples exclusively for such as the Mk 37), can and has been used against (albeit less than completely successfully) radars that rotate IRL - or in other words, radars that present a mainlobe a minority of the time and a sidelobe the majority of the time.
  19. Nearly everyone I know in my two F-16 groups has this stick but without the shaker attachment, and do well with formations and AAR. My VKB stick was all over the place no matter what I tried to do with tuning and control with my hands. I'd had enough and went back to my TM F-16 stick since I could at least sit in formation acceptably (still no luck with AAR). THat didn't last long so it was a long shot so I placed my order and got the ViperAce EX stick and throttle (EX). I went with the shaker kit for the stick as I enjoy the experience I get with my haptic pad, and thought that would be cool to have haptic sensations all over. My understanding is that this stick, with or without the shaker kit with the two extra hats, is NOT a force feedback stick. It's just force sensing. So the force feedback checkbox remains unchecked. BUT, the newer F-16 settings under special should be checked to take advantage of actual stick. How well it mimics it is beyond me, but those deadzones are huge. How best to use them? Also, any recommendations on what file to download for the shaker option. Frankly, I've tried three and I can't actually feel much. Perhaps that's how it really works. Thanks in advance.
  20. Yes I believe so, but please test and let me know your experience
  21. the cracker and coke generation
  22. DCS World does not need to run as Admin, and in fact can cause problems if you do. If copying the file by hand works, that means the file is correct. Most likely OvGME is copying it into a wrong path.
  23. My apologies. I'm sure you're not common.

  25. AFAIK (didn't work on F-16s, but have worked in aviation refueling), in order for fuel to reach the external tanks from the single-point refueling receptacle, the fuel must first flow through the internal tanks (I'm not sure specifically which tanks in which order without the fuel system diagram in front if me). Since the internal tank pressure is only reduced as opposed to completely depressureized, it takes a bit of force to push the fluid through those tanks so fuel can flow to the externals. The other half of the problem is that the fuel slider in the rearming menu only cares about internal fuel level. So once the internal tanks are completely filled, the ground crew will stop fuel flow, even if the externals are only partially filled. This is a long-standing DCS limitation, as realistically you'd probably either be able to keep fuel pressure and permit flow to the externals, or just fuel the external tanks manually via the fill caps with an over-wing nozzle. ED has mentioned in the past about the possibility of having fuel sliders for external tanks in addition to internal. The reason people have made the suggestion to be under a specific amount of fuel is to ensure that there's enough time for fuel to flow to the external tanks before the internals are filled, cutting off fuel flow. While this is a more "rule-of-thumb" method to ensure external tanks are refilled, the best guarantee is to have the ground crew remove and replace the external tanks (jettisoning the tanks not necessarily required, depending on your situation).
