    Falls ihr noch Windows 10 nutzt und schon ein mulmiges Gefühl habt, weil es ab Oktober keine Updates mehr geben soll - in der EU hat MS jetzt eingelenkt und sich bereiterklärt, noch ein Jahr lang Updates kostenlos zur Verfügung zu stellen (es gibt einige Anforderungen, unter anderem muss man mit einem MS-Konto in Windows angemeldet sein).   3. From my experience: Using Head On and Pursuit mode is far superior to using automatic mode. So for targets that are far away: Head On mode, then setup the bracket at the relative distance to the target, and then setup antenna elevation to the target relative altitude. When target is close enough - switch to the Pursuit mode and check the antenna elevation (make sure that is not pointing too high / too low). Here is an example: lock achieved at 80+ km using Head On mode and correct antenna elevation.
  4. Hello, I've noticed several times that when flying at high altitude (11–12000 ft), the Apache doesn't respond as I expect it to ... Basically, I receive warnings about rotor RPM being low while at 80 / 85 % torque It would seem that the low rpm alert is tied to the amount of collective I pull and not the amount of torque being used. To me, it looks like an error, but since I'm not an expert about helicopter physics, I might be wrong.
  5. Return button should, as the name says, return you to original airport where you took off. Airport 1. It probably was designed for that. You can select other airports manually after. Not I am not 100% sure if this is the case in RL, but it seems logical.

  9. Для начала, вопрос - что по вам стреляло? Если Патриот или С-300 то в игровой реализации СПО нет индикации захвата вплоть до попадания. Горит только индикация от угрозы типа С. Хок, перед пуском срабатывает индикация захвата. СПО сейчас более менее пригодна при наличии только древних ЗРК.
  10. Latest, and latest! I allways install updates. And one more thing: I use process lasso to keep the "Pi_server.exe" away from my core#4 which is the DCS' main CPU core. If they share, the core will (often) max out.
  11. Who knows. At least we already have an issues with the Russian Helicopters Company, so on Russian ED store page it's impossible now to buy any Russian helicopter module.
  12. Thanks for the effort in reviewing this @Retnek. Makes sense to reduce down atleast some of those numbers - compared to the GBU equivalents, they're off. I'm not 100% on how DCS is currently modelling damage and fragmentation as there have been changes this year and this script was first created years ago - but the script 1) creates a larger_explosion when it loses tracking of the weapon i.e it has exploded and then 2) look for units in range of the tracked weapon based off the explosive value and applies an explosion to that unit if its within range. So this allows for enhanced close-range damage and at least some sort of faux fragmentation. ["British_GP_250LB_Bomb_Mk1"] = { explosive = 31 }, --UK, general purpose, blast and fragmentation ["British_MC_250LB_Bomb_Mk1"] = { explosive = 51 }, --UK, medium capacity, blast over fragmentation With these figures, the explosive of 31 on the GP means it reduces its overall chance of damaging something since the script is modelling a small blast wave area and therefore no fragmentation is taken into account (unless ED added this?) Caveat, I took on updating and changing the original script so I could always be wrong in my interpretation. There's also a lot of approximation and inconsistencies within the explosive table. I did have an idea to completely rework the script (probably a clean start of one) to make it more realistic damage wise but abandoned the plan since ED started making changes to DCS explosives and fragmentation this year. It would have been a giant effort but would have had specific damage ranges for each weapon against units/types cross-referenced against their armour etc. Happy to take on the suggested changes but let me know if you think the explosive values need to be adjusted in light of the above - will wait til you have the US ones and I'll update the script accordingly. -- With the "Cluster Bombs Spread Mimic". It's been a while but if I remember correctly, when the submunitions are released they only count as a singular weapon that can be tracked. The script tracks that weapon and schedules a bunch of additional explosions to go off when that submunition no longer exists i.e has been destroyed. The script places the additional explosions around the central point that is the singular tracked weapon. There will be probably be lag due to calculating the dispersion pattern as well as sensing that the weapon has been destroyed (There is a 0.1 second refresh rate). The cluster stuff was only implemented in a relatively basic manner - I was still new to lua scripting and couldnt figure out how to make it better (if cluster weapons can indeed be made consistently better via a generic script wiith the variety of cluster munitions in the game). Hopefully that clears a little of it up

  14. Yes, I'm familiar with Spud's video related his Logitech mouse. The stutter however is only present and noticeable only while loading/flying Apache module and is from time to time as something is pinging the game but much noticeable when changing the state from lift off and landing. It doesn't go away and showed up while flying. That is why I posted it as module bug. Thought the reason was related to recent Caucasus map update but is present on all maps. Unfortunately Disabling Hot Plug didn't change the stutter state.

  20. Do you get the sidewinder growling sound? What are your settings with the R73 in HELM mode? Radar ILLUM? The main question for me is. Is it possible to control the r73s seekerhead with your hmd just like you can do in the F16/18.
  21. AWACS fortunately are not omniscient. They also have radar range, RCS, terrain masking and notch limits, banked high wing blocking the picture in its direction, etc. so it's totally possible to be ambushed even with AWACS support. Otherwise report a bug with a track.

  24. You can't. It all comes down to situation. But in fair fight you can't beat F-16 from 2007. using 80's tech. If F-16 had sparrows then you can beat it, sure.
  25. Another option would be to check the polling rate of your other input device (mouse). DCs seems to be particular allergic to high polling rates. (Like a lot of "gaming" mouses have - personally I would also try to get rid of proprietary software like Razor or Logitech for that matter)
