  2. Hello, I could swear we had a nice thread about this topic here recently with a track and everything. I’ve looked everywhere and it seems to be gone. Anyways I’ve done some testing, takes 10-15 degree angle to lock a target flying at 1200 kmh. Or a 45-60 degree angle to lock a target at 1500 kmh. I would love to hear from ED why the radar does this. I saw it in the manual so I know it’s valid, but it also never stated if it was a “no lock or detection” kind of limit or something else. Anyways cheers
  3. Hi, I checked your track (thans!) and indeed the problem miraculously does not appear, although at the moment I have a slight DCS freeze, meaning - something is happening and maybe the system would like to switch navigation but it actually does so, but the momentary freeze still occurs, so generally there is a problem. But this is what happens if you take "Take control" and choose autostart (I didn't have time to go through it now because I have to go to work soon): As you can see, there is a freeze again and the system resets itself. So the problem is the same. The difference is that you're using the checklists in a slightly different order, from what I can see. You also didn't connect a GPU, and the channel settings were slightly different. Perhaps there's some connection to these settings ? However, as you can see, the problem is definitely present in Syria, regardless of the map. Has ED noticed this problem? Unfortunately, the issue has no "reported" status. TY.
  4. Translation atempt (AI: "...On the PSC-3I panel (and with data from COLS), the base value of the target B is entered. With the distance input (via a potentiometer), the range to the target is defined within a range up to about 1200 meters. If the system is moved from the stop of the potentiometer, a manual range input is produced, allowing the use of the input distance in the calculations of the range...."
  5. The plan was to have it range like a circle to the targets wingspan apparently. But the plan never went through and you were stuck using target size dial with funnel. This is MiG-29B tech manual right?
  6. For anyone defend them.. Google "paypal honey scam"
  7. Tell us more. It's that but it's not?
  8. Curves are fine, unless you have a massive stick extension, or plan to invest in a force feedback stick and fly warbirds/helicopters. The only tips I'd add -- - every move requires an almost immediate "unmove," especially with pitch and throttle. If you're low, pitch up a bit, then immediately pitch back down. If you're forwards, back off the throttle a bit, then immediately push it back up. Never hold an input for longer than a moment. - decide at the beginning whether you want to use rudder or roll for lateral control. Apparently, in the Hornet, the official recommendation is to use the rudder, but I've always used roll and just can't do it with rudder.
  9. And lots of practice… vr makes it easier… my personal recommendations…. 1 … only try and control one plane of motion at a time… I’d start with speed 2 … practice formation flying first 3… start with a c130 … the s3 is much harder 4… take your feet off the rudder 5… hum a tune to yourself to help take your mind off the task … sounds silly works for me 6… look at the lights… not the basket… 7… practice practice practice… try building a refuelling mission and do it before and after every other sortie
  10. It says here that the wheel is used to manually enter a range of 0 to 1200 meters in the "forecast-track" gun mode when there is no IRST lock.
  11. For me AAR is easier when I override the gain. Than I have more sensitivity.
  12. Today
  13. Amazing work this looks awesome.
  14. 在经过N多次升级失败后,装了“奇游”后才解决这个问题。
  15. Correct; second mission after the training one. Yes, I am using the deck crew. I did the first time I did the campaign too.
  16. Oh, I believe you, and I'm on your side. As a seller, neither would I. Totally understandable! Like I wrote, I was not defending them in anyway. While as a customer, the refund policy is pretty good. Maybe that's what happened.
  17. I'm with pro, using the latest w/o problem Sent from my SM-S906E using Tapatalk
  18. I’m not sure you’re internalized what i wrote though: I gave them all the information they asked for (including selfies with my drivers license, and confirmation of my business checking account), and they 1) unilaterally closed it. 2) are keeping the money for half of a year. I also should clarify that, per standard operating procedure, PayPal doesnt release _any_ money until 30 days have passed (solving for your concern re: scammers/chargebacks). That’s not a company anyone should do business with.
  19. Was thinking the same! [emoji1] [emoji106][emoji2532] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  20. @Someone Thank you for the PayPal explanation even if you didn't have to. Not defending PayPal in anyway, but I'm thinking they're tired of all the refunds they have to accommodate due to scammers, and that's why they're keeping the money for the time customers can claim refunds of undelivered products. Me as a customer try to use PayPal as much as I can for those exact reasons whenever I shop online. Cheers!
  21. I’m somewhat unsure as to what ‘ like to see here? When you see the option for Visa cards, (as you clearly understand, per your post) that doesn’t mean visa “credit” cards, in the technical sense. It just means that the word Visa is on the piece of plastic that you are looking at. Regarding PayPal, we actually did support PayPal at launch. The experience went as follows: 1) We put PayPal on the site, and began collecting money. 2) Single digit hours post launch, I notice a small notification on the top corner of the PayPal website. I click. It says: “We need some more information about your business!” I open the window, and find questions like “Please show your suppliers receipts for XXXX order number”, along with identical requests from other order numbers. As a person selling a digital product… I have no “suppliers receipts”… I cannot, like, upload the receipts from my aluminum distributor, or something. But, I replied to these questions in good faith, attempting to clarify that the product sold here was a piece of software, with no physical suppliers, and that the deliverable was a license code. 3) I press “submit” on the form, and am greeted by a page that says “your account is temporarily suspended, but we will review your submission within 72 business hours.” This feels.. kind of like a long time, but sure. 4) Very shortly afterwards, the page reloads, and _now_ reads: “We have determined that we cannot support your business, and are permanently closing your account. We will release any funds collected by PayPal in 180 days.” This is not a joke… So, no. We wont be using PayPal. Not now, not ever. If you doubt this story, just google “PayPal closed my business account”, and you'll find dozens of identical stories. Regarding your concern about separation of… whatever: modern pin-and-chip cards, and the transactions they execute (ie: google/Apple Pay) do not actually result in your literal credit card number ever being shared with the vendor. Further, I (the asc owner) am not in a position to receive your card number EVER, regardless. Instead, Stripe, the company who processes a majority of the worlds credit/debit cards payments deal with such a thing. Stripe is not getting hacked. Last, as to whether it matters whether you purchase the c-130 from ASC directly, see my post above.
  22. Wow, that was fast! Great work!
  23. Make a mission with an airstart in the Caucasus, (if it does happen there that is), repeat the procedure and save the track. Then you have a very short track that will save the devs a lot of time. Cheers?
  24. This is already a thing. At the top row of the ME, go to Customize and select Set Position. You can pull the Type dropdown and select different coordinate formats. The Set Position box can also able to be moved around.
  25. Well, at least he asked someone. Most men won't ask for directions even if they're totally lost in the jungle. Why do think we have GPS? With the result of semis transversing small villages in Europe instead of using the motorways. God forbid they try to climb a tiny western icy road in Norway.
