WinWing UFC Screens in No Cockpit Mode
rob10 replied to AlphaDecay's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Do some searching, especially in the PC hardware and software/Input devices subforum. Pretty sure this has been asked before and IIRC there is no obvious workaround, but I didn't pay that much attention. -
About to post a video tonight with some suggestions to add to the module. I really like that Matt (ASC CEO) asked the community to please provide feedback on any features or functions they may have missed or we would like to see. I do not expect implementation of every or anything I suggest, but I do appreciate the request for feedback.

I have much less FPS on this map vs others, and also certain spots of trees/terrain are not blocking LOS for AI units. They can see through it and shoot through it. -
IMHO, it is very nice that ASC developer/owner has made comments this thread even though this is just a pre-order.

Core Ultra 7 265K vs Core i7 14700K (in DCS)
Panzerlang replied to talvikko's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Everything I've seen/read indicates the 265k is absolute crap for gaming. -
Appears to not be working. I typed DCS into the little search window (next to the drop-down where it says Common Settings), hit enter and nada. I can't figure out any alternative process for it.

Many thanks yes, will test this each way.

What can't we release Cold War Germany Phase 2 without?
TheBiggerBass replied to MAESTR0's topic in Wish List
I suggest to focus authentic building simulation on taller buildings and landmarks like bridges, towers, churches, large historic buildings, huge factories as - beneath rivers, mountains ect. - these are the important visual orientation landmarks for VFR. Alied WW2 pilots - without GPS - used them for orientation too. -
Nope, unfortunately performance is still bad, way beyond any other dcs mods and modules. I hope the'll fix it soon.

Dang you are touchy. I've heard he also like BoB and chronologically that would make more sense to do first. In my opinion the decision to move toward PTO first could conceivably have been influence by the arrival of that other sim. And I take it you haven't bothered to watch the videos if you are claiming I said this was ED's fault.

DCS WWII 1944 Kickstarter: A Tragedy in 3 Acts

Let's remember that ED had simply been making WW2 aircraft in DCS World to test engine capabilities since 2012... P-51s and the Fw-190D-9s. RRG Studios claims the other aircraft with unrealistic plans on the KS. RRG itself even "promised" a pilotable B-17... and that it would deliver modules every six months, like Igor's "promises." We knew they were simply unrealistic. ED had no control over the decisions made on KS WW2 until they went bankrupt and ED saved the entire project, putting up money so those modules could be released. Let's keep in mind that ED could have let the whole project die. Now, claiming that things will be "clarified" when there are veritable rivers of ink about RRG's bankruptcy, claiming that ED was to blame, is simply kicking a dead horse. Let's remember that Nick Grey has been talking about the Pacific for years (let's say 7-8 years ago) and there are interviews to confirm it. Now, to come forward and claim that ED took PTO to attack another company is completely absurd. -
or... enable GND Jettison Switch, then Jettison on ground the empty tank before the crew put a new one (in this way you are manually simulate by yourself the removal of the empty one)

Thanks! How do you access that? There are times when I miss what they said, and then I don't remember what I was supposed to do next. So I took out the Flankers, returned to watch the Hinds do their thing, then went after the Fulcrums. Wingman and I took them all down, but I never got an RTB. Flew back to base and landed, and I got a 50. LastMissionTrack.trk

Fixed! Thanks for pointing out. I advice to reinstall it, has a little change in SFM, which responds for pilot blacking out. Before that I put the wrong value accidentally.

It doesn’t matter as the ED side of things is still always changing and causing problems with campaigns. So the Tomcat being out of EA won’t change that. The campaign makers have two focus. Either planes they like, or stuff they know will sell. And stuff they know will sell means Hornet and Viper.

Light attack aircraft for counter-insurgency mission
Silver_Dragon replied to Supernova-III's topic in DCS 2.9
The problem about the C-101, was the CASA never planned them as a COIN aircraft. The C-101BB was a export trainer, the C-101CC was only a light attack version, but missing many advance funtionality. A more advanced version (C-101DD) with Radar, Chaff and flares, advanced HUD, balistic computer, RWR, HOTAS, AGM-65 Maverick compatibility and other improvements, never enter on production but was only centred on the USA market, no as a aircraft to the EDA (Spanish Air Force) never was Light Attack versions, only EB trainers. Remember the C-101 (and other aircrafts) missing incendiary and other weapons, no developed by ED on the core. -

Have you tried the JULIs yet? As they have the Lima seekers, it might also SEAM. Never tried it TBH.
