  2. Whatever else is going on, that I‘m actually sure of. If you want the proper and consistent recognition of axis across multiple modules (and games for that matter). You need to properly set up your FFB device on the device level (+the associated config software). If you have to invert the most basic axis (pitch/roll) in the sim, you‘re already off on the wrong foot. Since this only happened so far in the corsair (and intermittently), I assume it’s a bug.
  3. The visor feels like I'm looking through dirty plastic. It's okay when looking outside but really hazy when looking down into the cockpit. While this is likely to be a true representation of the real life visor, I still would prefer a clear filter that darkens without the hazy blur. Is anyone up to doing a mod for this if its possible to edit?
  4. Although the payloads are limited to be symmetrical, different smoke pod colors shouldn't block the weapon system. Could the smoke pods be reduced to one type in the future, and set with certain color for every pylon, like the fuse setting of bombs?
  5. Well, there are two modules that would be next: the OH-58E and the Chinhook. And a few guides that need updating. I'll just wait and see what happens. I find it impressive how he keeps track of the sheer number of guides he's published.
  6. You don't hold it. The radar sends a short radio signal with X power, then stops illumination and waits for the return, collects the signal, processes it and so on. Then sends the signal again. As you could see from the MiG-29 and spo-15 documents here, the latter is synchronized with such radar pulses. One pulse is the peak power, the very same pulse devided on its Length + all the time between the pulses is average (sustained, whatever) power It always had waaay-way more AWACS planes, so... So we probably can say that while the MiG should have cgi support, the Western aircraft should have AWACS one Benefit - probably.   7. Yep, with no idea how barometric/radar/laser ranging is supposed to interact, let alone whether (ED known) bug fixes have been delivered yet its pretty tricky to proceed.

  12. When I delete SnapViews file in Saved Games FOV resets to 118 give or take, is that the default FOV? And when I turn my head the picture becomes stretched around the edges.

  16. If you invert the inversion, everything is back to normal again... That sounds more like a work-around than a fix. If you invert axes in your FFB software when there is no issue with other modules, it will mess those up as well. This sounds like Magnitude needs to fix that.
  17. Okay, thanks. I got it. But since i chenged the Cockpit to medium i had no more issues. Have to check how it works with anctivated WinWing MFD (which i turned on right now). But i guess (hope) it was the textures issue.

  23. Well I finely reached Nirvana I do believe.. I had done a few tweaks and added Process Lasso to the mix again and I just got done flying on a Multiplayer mission "In through the inferno" and I flew a mission and played for 25minutes. during the time of the mission I had a perfect Flat line in the DCS Frame Counter and 99.9% frametime showed in fpsVR after I ended the mission.. I think I did not get the .1% because during the initial loading of the mission I had dropped 10 frames. but during the entire 25minute flight I had not dropped 1 frame.. So I am thinking I finally cracked this nut a personal goal of mine for some time.. Smooth Gameplay is possible.. I just think of DCS as a finely refine supercar, awesome when it works but a bear to tame.. It is possible to run DCS in VR Near perfect. I guess I will save the tweaks I have done for future reference and try some other games I have in Multiplayer.. I really think this is a breakthrough for myself..
  24. Hello, I noticed a possible issue with the A-10C II training missions in DCS World. In the folder: \DCS World\Mods\aircraft\A-10C_2\Missions\Training\ Most mission files follow the naming convention A-10C II-Training-xxxx.miz. However, there is one file named: A-10C-Training-Introduction.miz Because this file does not include the II in its name, it does not appear in the in-game training mission list. If I rename it to A-10C II-Training-Introduction.miz, the mission shows up correctly in the game. Additionally, the lessons.lua file in the same folder already references A-10C II-Training-Introduction.miz, which suggests the current filename may be incorrect. This mismatch might be a bug. Could you please confirm? Thank you.
