It's always nice to see work related to the development of models for DCS, although I don't know if it makes sense to make A-7D since there will be A-7E as a full model anyway. Maybe it's better to reach an agreement with the authors of the FF model about a new version based on their model?

Could lay down some static objects to give the tank a little boost. "M92 Pile of Woods" under structures works ok-ish it gets the M-60 just high enough to fire over the lower points of the berm.

Without inspecting this myself it looks as if Nevada's 'radio' file is malformed. Some of these miscellaneous files are, for example Germany Cold War's radio file is formatted correctly, but the names of the airfields are incorrectly given (their eastern equivalents). I'll have a look.

I am not sure what you mean by "the screens are too large". Do you mean that everything appears very large? If so then have you checked the IPD setting in DCS? Or do you have any other software running that might override IPD such as OXRTK? Or maybe be you need to recenter your view? It might be worth posting a screenshot.

If you lock at 72fps you are likely to get microstutter. I have tried various forms of locking fps over the years and none make any difference in terms of performance.

A track won't work with the mission I'm playing. The tanks move into position randomly after you take out a nearby air defence system with SLAM-ER's so the plane will target an empty spot with no tank if you replay a track. I appreciate that AndrewDCS2005 uploaded one. So it looks like there have been some updates to the laser guided bombs since I last used them. More realistic is good. I'm going to have to play with this more to know if it's still possible to blow them up under bridges like I did before. I think the fact that I was using the ATFLIR pod instead of the Litening didn't help. It might have been automatically switching its lock to the bridge when it lost sight of the tank as I was over top of it. The last time I had it working, I'd just target a fixed point where they're at instead of tracking them as a moving target. I'm guessing you can change the fuse time now in the UFC or maybe the stores page? That's something I have to fiddle with too. If none of this works EricJ is probably right and I should use a bigger bomb, but based on what I'm seeing I think it's not even penetrating the bridge at all because I'm doing something wrong so I'll keep testing.

Still no fix ? I actually had great performance when the map just came out but now its pretty much unplayable because of this.

well if you could lock it at 72 you would still run into issues. I have read that it is best to lock it about 10-20FPS above your lowest FPS and if need be you can round it off. I found it best just to set the Hz rate of the VR and let the Game just run full out.. but if you are able to maintain a set FPS like 85 or 90 fps consistently you could lock it above your Hz rate and probally be fine.. What are your specs and Headset and such?

I'm curious about this. In my case it's definitely not a placebo. I can literally be in my headset - see what DCS is doing - while DCS is still running set the FPS limit in RivaTuner, come back and see a significant difference in what I experience in DCS plus what the DCS FPS Window is telling me. If this is not supposed to have any impact - I'm very keen to find out why it does - as anything I can do to remedy the issues DCS is having another way - I'm all up for learning more. However if I change RTSS to 60FPS - it definitely locks my DCS Frames to 60FPS in VR. My best guess is that there's some sort of over-rendering happening with DCS behind the scenes, and limiting it to 72FPS helps DCS to not 'race ahead' - but all I know is what I've done from experimentation - I'm no expert at this. Are you saying we should be enabling VSYNC for the VR mirror / monitors sake instead? I don't believe I have any VSYNC enabled. The only limitor there at present is Rivatuner? I'd be happy not to have a mirror at all on my desktop - if it meant better experience in VR, but I don't think that's possible?

A-10C's fly with the Sniper Pod every day. It is probably more common than the litening these days.
