  9. British bombs are planned already, however we are not sure when they'll be added. We have to look through each of ED's bomb models, and check for the 14 inch spaced lugs. I doubt their rockets will fit though, as the mounting lugs need adjusting.
  10. It represents the gimbal limit. So when on left/right border of the HUD the target is 70 degrees to the side. When at the top/bottom the target is 60 degrees to the top/bottom. In the FF though the top/bottom borders will actually represent 45 degrees, as the radar can only point 45 degrees down. Since gimbal limit is represented by diamond in FF, it will be a bit harder to use on a left crank as the HUD has no right border, and thus you will need to look at the HDD to see the right HUD border there for FF.

Wow .... you completely misinterpreted what Nineline said, he wasn't making fun of loosing modules at all, he was making fun of Beirut and his comments with regards to demands, because to be blunt, making any sort of demand when you can't comprehend what's said on the first page, deserves to have the piss taken out of it.. it's self entitlement on a grand scale.

  14. This is a paid app on Steam. Anyone tried it? Does it work in VR? Does it work with non-Steam game, I wonder?

  16. I was working on one and having fits the decals on the ED model. That being said, I’m working with some guys on an AI D MODEL. If we can get all the parts lined up…then it’s on to the flight model. Stay tuned.
  17. If you are putting 0 for the elevation then that is your problem. I also think you are misunderstanding what AGL means and how to use it. If you set the altitude for a Stpt in the F16 to 0 that is completely wrong. Say you have a tgt and coords X, Y, and the ground is 1850 MSL. You wouldn't put 0 into the DED, because if you did then you are telling the system that at X,Y the elevation of the ground is at sea level. Doing this will move your stpt "under" the ground which would translate to your bombs hitting far away. The number you should put into your DED is the MSL of the ground, so in this case 1850. Now you are telling the system that at X,Y the ground is 1850 above MSL. I've never had a problem with GBU falling that far from a target. 50-100 meters pretty far outside the CEP. Go ahead and place a stpt and put the number you see for Altitude on the F10 map into the DED and try again. And don't compare the Hornet's system with the Viper's. You will just further confuse yourself and others.
  18. Interesting. So the circle in FC3 actually represents where the radar is pointing? Like what the diamond does in FF? I was always confused about the function of that circle when in STT and I don't think the manual explains it? I mean the current FC3 manual.
  19. Glad to hear you're persevering! Are we still years away from actually getting to fly it in DCS? Is there any sort of timeline at all at the current pace of development? The Cold War Germany map is not complete without the Bo-105! Looking forward to it irrespective of how long it takes
  20. Yeah its driving me nuts... When starting DCS in VR it takes ages (5 minutes or longer) to load a mission or into a MP server. Then ingame it needs to load all the textures as well. Already did a repair a few months ago but that didnt solve anything. And the most obvious reason it pisses e off so much is that all the other games / sims i play just load instantly....

  24. No i dont have Process Lasso and i dont think i have an affinity bitmask... how do i check that? All my hardware is up to date with BIOS updates, drivers et cetera.
  25. Hello everyone. For me It was a pleasure to play as CPG on the Apache. After the July 22, 2025 update, it became a nightmare!!! The new circular interface element - whose sole purpose is to tell the pilot how to manage the CMWS mode - is nothing but a source of problems for me. Managing the CMWS is easy: at the start of the mission, simply occupy the pilot's position and set the CMWS as you want, and then return to the seat as CPG. Now I have enormous difficulty managing the AI Interface Mode and giving orders to the pilot. For example, when I start the mission as CPG with the helicopter on the ground, I enter AI interface mode to order George (pilot) to take off, and as soon as I want to set the FLT mode (AI interface left short), the CMWS interface appears instead and I can no longer give flight orders to the pilot!!!!! Now, I understand that everyone wants to be in the pilot's seat, but if someone is having more fun as a CPG, should they be penalized?!?! I hope the developers introduce a command to enable/disable the new CMWS interface if the player as a CPG doesn't need it. Otherwise, I don't think I'll play the Apache anymore since I don't like flying helicopters and I only bought the module because it allows CPGs. If there are other CPGs in my situation, please post your comments.

  27. Yeah, I've heard the response from Wags in this but things can and do change. You don't need to have millions of subs to make something viable, you just need the right business model. I've worked on MMOs before, including both subs, freemium and one time payment+cosmetics so it's something I'm pretty familiar with. ED could make it work if they wanted to and it would solve many problems, especially as it's not running most of the services normally associated with MMOs
