Agree with speed-of-heat, right basket is weirdly hard (likely because we don't use it as much so our references are more for the left basket). You also will need to speed up slightly in a turn on the right since you're travelling slightly farther than the tanker in the turn, whereas on the inside you'll be going slightly less far). I'm not a fan of curves, but that is personal preference. With a good stick (and without extensions) you get very precise control without curves and you just need to learn how to only make tiny movements of the stick. I think you've realized, but in DCS if there is only 1 plane fueling (or whoever clears contact 1st if there's more than one) will ALWAYS have to take the left basket (even if the right basket is out), and if you try to take the right your probe will just pass through it.

I see but will an update delete it and if I want back to the default view, maybe ED changes it, what do I do then? Repair?

Thanks, I'll work through the units as you did. I don't have any mods enabled as far as I can tell, but the three SAM sites spawn randomly via a lua file - maybe they're a good suspect. Thanks for your input ... I'll report back once I figure it out.

@Coldemps In case you missed the videos above on the Redk0d clickable mod: It is quite old and has not been worked on for some time, but it still works. https://github.com/RedK0d/CLICKABLE-FC3 (1.1.1e latest) There is a later version, actually 1.15 (which I use) https://redk0d.gumroad.com/l/fvkodo More information and some installation help can be found on the Discord https://discord.gg/vmb6JtZ3 It provides partially clickable cockpits for FC3 aircraft. It still works, though it is a little more difficult to get working with the F-15C which requires a different installation method. Works well "out of the box" with the other aircraft. Not all the clickable switches are Animated, but it definitely does add to the enjoyment/immersion of FC3 aircraft (IMHO)

Pretty sure that function doesn't exist IRL. The forward (or backward) press are basically a "START PROGRAM" button. The CMS button on F-18 should be spring loaded back to centre, so you press it to start the program and release it and it goes back to centre.

В FF MиГ-29 нет ощущения, что превозмогаешь в БВБ. Маневренность очень хорошая на малых скоростях, тяговооруженность даёт о себе знать. По моим ощущениям FF МиГ вертится лучше чем ГСный. Наконец донастроили флайт модель, предкрылки, демпфер? На посадке он сейчас мягко садится на скоростях 280 км/ч, а не плюхается на полосу уже при 300 км/ч как ГСный. ГСный был явно дубовее на посадке. FF МиГ-29 превосходит F-ки по маневренности. Эта фича российских истребителей 4-ого поколения наконец хорошо видна. Чего не скажешь про ДВБ... Тут страшно в каждом бою. UPD. Забыл добавить. FF МиГ хорошо виражит если сбросить ПТБ. Если с ПТБ -то он корова.

My pleasure! Something, I might add, which is very specific about the SPO-15LM in the MiG-29, is that if you plan on flying without GCI, you will have to rely on that RWR solely as part of the wider sensor suite for situational awareness. The information that you see shown on the RWR panel, are actually processed signals by the electronics boards 51 & 55 onboard the plane. That's to say, when a radar wave hits the RWR lobes (sensors) on the aircraft, the information is sent to a computer for processing, and then further to the RWR panel. Something important to note about it's function, is that in our version of the MiG-29A 9.12, it actually discriminates contacts that are made from the altitude of 8km - 16km. In other words, if you happen to fly low, close to a active SAM-site, and there happen to be two BLUFOR (western) aircraft flying between 8km and 16km altitude, your primary and secondary indication on the RWR will indicate the two aircraft flying above, and only the third (lowest priority) target will indicate the SAM. That is, until a launch is detected, which then becomes priority. Point is, even the working of the RWR stipulate, that the aircraft was designed for those altitudes in mind (8km - 16km). If you fly low, just be aware of this feature/quirk. Also, FC3 MiG-29 have a very basic RWR implementation, such that they are not comparable to ED MiG-29A. Enjoy!

PAPIs at Holzdorf are actually another issue in the sim. In Cold War times, AFAIK neither the Sowjets nor the East German AF had them at their airbases, reference this video at 7:45 Also, note how the runway markings don't match in the sim. All this is yet more evidence that the East German airbases in DCS are in fact post-cold war, modern GAF style airbases.... (and of course, no dirt patches on the airfield perimeter in real-life, unlike in DCS)

Сколько раз пробовал БВБ на пушках с F-15 (а пробовал не раз) - всегда перекручивал и сбивал. У Игла планер крупный, легко визуально обнаружить и не потерять из виду. Также из-за его размеров легче попасть из пушки. Вот F-16 крепкий орешек. Мелкий и вертлявый. С ним всегда попотеть надо. Главное завязку боя правильно начать и сразу попытаться сесть на 6. Если прошляпить, то вероятность быть сбитым велика.

As to my comment, it isn't either teaching nor apologizing - it's stating how things have always worked around here. Each part of the community wants something solely, but if ED attempted to do everything at once, they'd stall and nothing would ever get done (now I'm teaching). As it stands, he said "within this year", and so far, this year has not ended yet. "This kind of work usually wouldnt take even a half year (and this is amongous time for such task)." - This statement alone, would get you very popular on the RU-side (sarcasm). How ED loves hearing their customers tell them how coding works, and how little work and time it is to implement "just this one feature that I love". That comment alone tells a whole lot in itself.
