  2. Here is the my flythrough of this mission, if you want to see
  3. The Pancir is literally capable of repelling a FPV drone attack, let alone a missile. If it is not too low
  4. just wanted to thank you for sharing your efforts. they are extensive. I have only tried your NDB module. it is great. going to dive further into your work. Again...thanks for sharing
  5. Well, in that sense you already have it. IIRC the DCE will be released for SP first, and that makes a lot of sense, as the tracks will provide for the bug tracking will be easier to debug. Maybe we'll see a very rudimentary version "soon", while I don't see how they can release anything until AI shenanigans are sorted out and the svar function works as a save function.
  6. Thanks so much for the kind words. So far I did not experience an engine blow up that I didn’t cause myself, but currently I don't have much time to fly. The ai voice swallows the "when" a little bit, yeah. When I adapt this to the Hellcat, I will try to find a human willing to do the voice overs.
  7. Hi. I'm playing 3 missions. I can't radio the tanker. After setting the frequency to 318.0 and pressing "\", the menu does not appear.
  8. Big thanks to everyone working on this. I have the MCDU and PFP 7, so could do some testing time permitting. I mostly fly DCS in VR, but have been straying to the dark side of FS2024 lately out of curiosity and for professional reasons. With regards to using the panels with VR, I haven't done this yet, but it looks like you can create a mask using Open Kneeboard (OKB) and toggle a passthrough window to use the panel when needed. To take it further, you could create a horizontal rectangle showing your keyboard and any other peripherals like a Stream Deck or WW CDU. Press a HOTAS button whenever you need to input data or twist a knob. There are several YT videos of home pit builders using this technique for MR. EDIT: Found a video describing how to change fonts, if anyone feels the need.
  9. That’s because it’s not being panned the way you think it is. He’s using the F2 view as he slowly changes the heading of the helo. The helo stays centered, while the directional change pans the view.
  10. A cool weekly screenshot would be a nice touch leading up to release. Hope to see some tutorial and other early access videos soon
  11. You can find the easy comms option in the mission options
  12. Today
  13. If the choice is 'late' or 'underdeveloped', the former should win every time.
  14. You're 100% right on the first part. DCS is a hungry game on every front. The second part is not accurate as it is written. Updates don't re downloads any large asset unless is modified. Liveries are very rarely retouched. Once downloaded, it will only sit in storage, unless you're mentioning the technique of deleting the liveries to save storage. These are all great 100%. Lots of duplicated data indeed.
  15. Thank you very much, I will follow the procedure
  16. Excellent report! I'm pretty sure that has to do with the game setting "Easy Communication". With this setting enabled, radios will automatically tune to the proper frequency when you initiate a radio call. So the ARC-210 doesn't actually match the ARC-164 here (well it does, but it couldn't care less which freq is set in the ARC-164 is my point ), it just switches to the UHF freq for Nellis Tower, because that's Tower's default frequency. It doesn't necessarily make sense that it tunes to the UHF freq when you've already dialed in the VHF AM freq, but Easy Comms is much older than the multi-mode ARC-210, which was a relatively late addition to the A-10C II (you wouldn't see this happening in the A-10C legacy module, where the front radio is another ARC-186, just like the aft radio). Also, when you pay close attention, on your second radio call ("Request takeoff"), you had pushed Mic Switch Forward and were talking through the ARC-210; the written message in the top right corner clearly reads "ARC-210" in this case. So, long story short, when you disable "Easy Communication" in the game's options, this will no longer happen. Or, to cross check, you can do the same sequence of events, but before you initiate the "Request takeoff" call, switch the ARC-164 to any other freq. The ARC-210 is still going to tune Nellis Tower on UHF, regardless of what's set in the ARC-164.
  17. Blurry and glitchy mess as end result when the servers are somewhat stressed during a major release or sale. Streaming assets is a nuisance and it will always be as optimization naturally migrate to server expense and not user experience. DCS need to actually make a tech that reduces terrain storage footprint for a global map, not send the task to a cloud service that will be paid for use. You can't compare Microsoft's size to Eagle Dynamics. These are not even in the same universe of magnitude.
  18. No, DTC also allows for Radio Preset programming at the present state. In the future, we plan to integrate more features, for example the navigation data. This is an ongoing process. And that takes time. thank you
  19. To be most realistic, flying the Phantom is to use pen and pencil... and 7 Ps. Proper Preflight Planning Prevents P.ss Poor Performance. The planning is always before the flight. If something changes in flight use, as Karon already said. Pilotage and dead reckoning. And by the way, the use of digital maps is prohibited; learning how to fold a 1:500000 chart is kind of a piece of art. Yes, some of us used GPS in the 2000s, but mainly for navigating in European airspace, not busting any altitude limits or airspaces. We used in the beginning a simple excel sheets and later on PFPS.
  20. If you try that other sim that streams the content it actually doesn’t need that much bandwidth. The recommended is just 50mbps. It seems like the only solution for games with such large content. Like when or if DCS ends up with a global map just putting it on a drive will become unmanageable.
  21. Hi, I have updated to the latest hotfix. How do I now use the original Mbucchia QV? Do I need to uncheck Quadviews in Pimax Play for DCS but enable it in DCS to use the original? I have tried that but it didn't work, but I haven't de- and reinstalled Mbucchia QV yet (I have just read I am supposed to do that). Does enabling quad views in Pimax Play generally override Mbucchia QV? I get jittering in DCS. Generally the whole experience is far from smooth. DCS frame counter gives me constant 90fps and constant frametimes, but I get jittering all the time which makes it very much unplayable, it at least not enjoyable.
  22. Am I correct in thinking that the DTC, in its present form, only allows control of countermeasures?
  23. Yeah, good call....they are AI A-10Cs on OPs mission. AI helicopters can "spawn on ground" outside parking spots. Only AI fixed wings are prohibited.
  24. I love the save game option & the recent damage models staying on the battlefield. However, I don't understand the saved state features. For example, My AWACS does not function when I re-enter the save game. Late activated aircraft on an action trigger are there but their waypoints aren't showing. Any triggered actions, such as a convoy moving towards a target return to a late activation state, even when triggered as active in the original mission before the save. Maybe I don't understand the concept of the saved game option and is still being developed. Question: will original triggers work in the saved game if not triggered in the original mission?
  25. Also note that AI fixed wing (don't know about helicopters) cannot spawn on ground, they can only spawn on a designated spot or in the air. If you want that aircraft to spawn on ground, set the skill level to "Client" or "Player".
  26. During a mission departing from Nellis AFB with the A-10C II, I encountered a bug involving the aircraft's radios. After setting both radios to their respective tower frequencies, the ARC-210 radio automatically switches to the ARC-164 UHF frequency at a specific moment. Here’s the sequence of actions performed: • Set frequency 132.55 on ARC-210 • Set frequency 327.00 on ARC-164 • Requested taxi clearance on 327.00 (ARC-164) • After receiving taxi clearance, I requested takeoff clearance on 132.55 (ARC-210) At the exact moment I made the takeoff request via the in-game radio menu, the ARC-210 frequency was automatically overwritten and switched to 327.00, matching the ARC-164. I’m attaching both a video and a track file to illustrate the issue. Thanks Sniper radio_bug.trk 2025-08-20 14-41-23.mkv
