Hi, this is already reported, thanks! -

The F14 bug where the TCS and the LANTIRN are blank persists. You can't work around it by pressing fly again because it loads the briefing. Is there a way you can split these mission up so that you can load the mission from the menu and therefore when you hit fly again the LANTIRN will work?

Great! I usually recommend renaming the folder instead of deleting it. Backups are great though! -

Is ME usability taking another nosedive with the new Mig-29A?
Hippo replied to cfrag's topic in Mission Editor
From my, admittedly limited, experience with the ME and Campaign Builder, I assumed that that was their mission statement. -
SignorMagnifico started following Mission 7 Kneeboard Bug (F-86F version)
-
The kneeboard images are not visible in Mission 7 because the images are placed directly in the mission's KNEEBOARD folder instead of the KNEEBOARD > IMAGES subfolder. I resolved this by extracting the images from the mission file and placing them in my C:\ > users > username > Saved Games > DCS > Kneeboard > F86F Sabre folder, so I could fly the mission.

Mirrors: Mirrors have a wider field of view, however they still can't be angled correctly. Engine: The engine still overboosts at full throttle with ADI turned on. This is contrary to the POH, which gives no indication or warning of overboost occurring EXCEPT if the supercharger gear is changed while at high manifold pressures and without reducing throttle first. Taxiing: As others have already noted in the dedicated threads, the aircraft can still be incredibly difficult to turn on the ground; even applying one wheel brake tends to cause the entire aircraft to stop, rather than rotating in place.

Yea man I’ve recently had a similar experience. They are pretty toxic towards new players just trying to figure out the ropes too. It sucks, but the nice thing is there’s lots of other servers and communities out there.

Let's say I'm working on a campaign with ten stages, and in a mission in stage five I wish a certain event to cause the campaign to (abruptly) end in failure (or success). How would I implement this? The DCS manual is rather vague, p.364 : However, it does not explain what "failure to complete the campaign" means in practical terms. On p. 365, This appears to imply that the only way a campaign can end in failure is if a mission gets a score below 50 in the first stage. And, conversely, that a campaign can only end in success if a score over 50 is achieved in the last stage. Tell me it ain't so. Please.

Dont' know if my profile would work with his version of Beam head tracker?, just to add I manly use vr when using DCS, i use Track Ir with msfs2020

Radar is pretty much useless online MP. Not as bad in the instant action missions. SPO lock tone is brutal to my ears even at low volume. Well aware it's EA so no biggie. Everything else is superb!

Hi! I see. I had the same issues initially. Maybe someone can post their OpenTrack profile for you to start with. My computer's dead, or l would've given you mine. What you need to do, is setup curves in your axis settings, so when you move a little the view is slow, while when you move the view further it moves faster so to speak, so you can see more without popping your eyes out. But most importantly, to get rid of the shaking, you need some deadzones. And don't use the X axis for zoom. It's better to use some other buttons/axis on other peripherals for that. Cheers! Do they write English in Australia? Yes, get TrackIR. It appears Beam Eye Tracker is not very good. It shouldn’t be necessary to disable head tracking like that in order to use the cockpit.

Look at the paths in the log, and you should be able to remove the files. I guess if you tried to remove them, you probably forgot the entry in the export.lua Just delete the line, use Notepad++, and you should be fine. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk -

dont know about your version, Iam using tr i can map my view in which in can view to the right and left 110degrees roughly, also i can also pause the track ir if needed in one spot so you cant do this in your set up

You like what you like. Me? CFS2. Took me quite a while to get DCS so that it didn't just absolutely suck. Now it's awesome. Driving your car, looking down the road, you can't see the dash, nor your side windows or mirrors. Look at any of those, and you cant see down the road. Same thing with this, except that one snaps/pans to point their nose, instead of turning their head. The eyes still wander around a ~55° FOV. Puts me IN the cockpit. And the Mil ring on the gunsite works. Fill half the ring with wingspan or fuselage, pull lead, and squeeze... and it's 4th of July on the other end. No superhuman zoom, no labels, no cheats. Just pilot stuff. Bowie

Yes I also am getting this problem.
