  1. Past hour
Merci.
  5. Mal bitte ne kurze Hilfe. Wie bringe ich den Piloten zum laufen ?
  6. One more voice for failures!
  7. There was an issue that I believe was reported a few months ago, where attempting to sling load the L118 would result in it bouncing around, to the point that it would destroy your own helicopter. I've no idea whether that was resolved.
  8. Strange, I have it on that same path, like this: A DCS Repair only fixes issues that are within the DCS main program folder, it won't touch into /Saved Games/ ... if it still doesn't work, post the latest dcs.log as most issues leave a trail within it. Edit: Note that the folder is "Mods", not "mod"
  9. Oh please dear Eagle Dynamics Team! System Failures for the F-16 would be SO AWESOME!!!! Hope you will bring that in future for us. Would be a great impact for trainings and missions!
  10. I was testing the chinook with L118 light gun and i tested almost all ropes and it is not stable at all. Any idea where the problem is? It is at cargo or at CH47F? The problem was on Germany map but while i tested it on Caucasus i noticed the same problem there. So i guess it is not the map. What i noticed. If i take of trimmed and i do not used at all the Button of TRIMM REL it is ok i can fly it. But while i fly if i try to press TRIMM REL to use my pedals to bring the white ball centered the cargo starts to sling immediately. All this with the 100ft rope. It feels that helicopter has a YAW sensitivity LastMissionTrack - 1.trk LastMissionTrack.trk
  11. Unfortunately, I can't bring up my DCS to show you but there is an option to turn on random system failures. I'll screenshot/make a quick vid of it when able.
  12. Can we at any point expect to get system failures implemented? When I look in the Mission Editor I can't find any option to fail random or specific systems. Is it planned for the future?
  13. After having a brief look at the B-52D we have on disk, it's planned for 2026. Not much of a chance to squeeze it in this year. We've been looking into the CH-46D suspension problem and made some progress, but there's still room for improvement. We also do not fully understand which issues stem from ship or terrain and which from the helicopter. Still investigating. On the Knox Destroyer Escort with SAM batteries, we have a working theory, but not tested the updated config yet.
  14. I'm sure that way works just fine. The issue is using a cockpit folder not named 'Default'. If it's not named Default, it won't work. Which means creating a custom cockpit with variants, is impossible.
  15. I was flying on contention yesterday for about 2 hours. I took a break and shut down my PC. When I went to start DCS up again, it got stuck at 44% before getting to the main menu and hasn't been able to pass 44% since then. I made sure to remove all mods and have done a, standard and full repair along with completely uninstalling and reinstalling DCS. Any help would be greatly appreciated! dcs.log
  16. Going from 32GB to 64GB (with nothing else changed in PC) made no difference to my performance in DCS and MSFS2020 / 2024
  17. Ja, ich hab es bereits in Normalgröße. Ist jetzt innerlich kein Qualitätswunder aber sehr hübsch.
  18. I use Ovgme to enable/disable the F-16C cockpit liveries. So, i advise to use Ovgme, or similar, for enable the F-16C cockpit liveries. It works this way for me with no issues.
  19. The navigation system wouldn't have been much of an obstacle in that case, one MiG-29 did manage to do exactly that. Navigating by compass, map and landmarks remains a basic skill for any pilot, long before he gets to mess with an INS. It was designed not to give the pilot too many options to avoid confusing him with too many buttons (and also because it was simpler and cheaper to make). Also, it being a copypaste of systems in other Soviet aircraft was deliberate, because it made them easier to produce and train pilots for. All Soviet aircraft had common instruments and equipment, to a much greater extent than Western ones. The Soviets learned during WWII that being able to produce a lot of aircraft fast is paramount in wartime, and being able to redirect instruments from one type to the other helps a lot with that.
  20. Today
  21. Like the title says. This would be useful especially in cold war multiplayer scenarios where unguided rockets see most action. Best solution would be simillar to how bomb fuzes can be adjusted in rearm menu.
  22. If modeled correctly it shouldn’t be unless in air to ground for 2-10 seconds after pre designating
  23. For the F-16C cockpit liveries to work i use Ovgme to enable/disable the cockpit before launch DCS. No issues on my side.
  24. Yes, you are right about the LOBL. My mistake, sorry
  25. Even though there is an option, for Customized Cockpits in the Special -> F-16C options menu, and you CAN select a customized cockpit (if one is installed), it will not load unless the folder is named 'Default'. Another problem, is DCS tends to load the stock textures, on initial startup. Which requires exiting, and then reloading the game. This usually fixes it, but obviously the customized cockpit option is broken. This issue, is also present in the AH-64D, but works correctly, for the A-10C and A-10CII.
