Please ED, can you simply fix the descriptions for fast/slow bindings in Local object camera? All of them are inverted. I've returned to this cam after a while and first redone my bindings only to find that all fast/slow is the other way around. I know this is not a serious bug, but it's a silly one and the fix is trivial as it's just the action labels. (I hope it doesn't hide some more serious bug, but if so, than it's seriuos to fix as well.) These tiny things that can be fixed in minutes are very annoying because users stumble upon them for years for no good reason. I see this year as a great year for fixes so far, so I hope this will make the cut as well.

Hi, With both the two latest DCS versions I get authorization errors. My terrains authorize ok, but none of the aircraft's or campaigns. Version 2.9.15.9599.1 from 05.05.2025 and all previous have been ok. So far support has not been able to help so I hope someone here could maybe help. I have attached the logfile and overview of running processes. Anti/virus has been disabled for DCS folder and saved games folder. My date&clock is correct etc. I'm not using any mods at this time. Not sure what to do now... dcs.log process.txt

Minor issue, but the fighter to fighter briefing for Mission 9 sorts the launchers when clearly the radar is intended since weapon is AGM88s: PLAYER: Two, one. Fighter to fighter. Line abreast, shooter - shooter, AGM-88, in from the east, off north, sort north. Lead takes two southern launchers." Question: what is the best way for a pilot to determine which two SA-6s are the southern most? Compare latitudes? For the two that are close together (eastern pair), which is the southern most is obvious in the TPod, but not so much for the western one.

I have been simming since Amstrad !...I have been DCS since Lock-On !....99% of my Flying has been SP...I had some Great MP experiences on IL2 and CLOD...I have tried a few DCS servers but it always seemed like "Get to the Furball "," Get as many Kills"... And Then Call Yourself an "ACE" ! No regard for your Virtual Life turns DCS into Game. No Purpose For your Mission turns DCS into a Game !...Amazing, how many pilots Post Videos of their "amazing Kills" , and dont even RTB !.. AND BRAG about it ! Trapper, I have recently joined Contention Cold war and I am having the BEST Simming , I have ever had...I have 4 hours in Huey (total flying in DCS). I have done CSAR missions and given my team 200000 Resources . I have 150 Credits to spend. I installed an EWR !... ALL with Chat turned OFF and I Fly in VR !...I am still learning Contention (And the Huey). Thank you Trapper, This is Simming in DCS ! ~S~

I had the same problem, and then I noticed : Just don't forget to add the comma after the penultimate map name and no comma after the last map name! And everything's back to normal.

Stutter at the beginning (loading during the mission) after the last patch is present still but as it was in the changelog, this issue wasnt solved and touched.

This maybe a dumb question. i can’t seem to get the gun piper to show up when I’m on the enemies 6. I’ve hit the #8 key in all modes. How can I get it pulled up? Thank you.

I know these are already in the DCS core, and I think you also know that the models of these units are outdated and need to be updated. Currenthill's asset mod already has high-definition models of Bradley and Marder, wouldn't it be good to add them to the DCS core?

So just updated to the latest hotfix patch (DCS 2.9.16.10973), and while it did play a little different this time, it was similar result, but fortunately i was able to capture the error. So the error comes up, when the SA8 comes online (after talds), or possibly when i fire on it, and as mentioned the error stayed in place this time so i screen capped it, but after i clicked ok, it asked me to report to devil (as i splashed it), but after trying approx. 10 times, the command wouldnt tell devil, it just closes the comm menu, then obviously mission couldnt progress. So last time the mission kept going, and told me to take out the oil rigs, but i was able to report destroying the SA8 that time. Anyways heres the error

Wish what you are saying is true, but it is not the case. There are folks on the same server in 2d and VR (headset dependent) who are complaining in the forums about how the spotting dots are too big and not good for game play or immersion. There are also others using the Pimax Crystal on these two servers who are experiencing the same lack of spotting dots as I am. BTW: I posted this question on both DCS and Reddit forums, a few of the responses advocated reducing the headset resolution, the pixel density in DCS, and removing all anti aliasing. Running with DCS pixel density reduced to .8, the Pimax headset resolution set to 80 percent, spotting dots set to 2, and no anti aliasing (DLSS, MSAA, etc) I can now see spotting dots almost as well as my wingman. The downside to these settings is that the outside of the cockpit visuals look really bad, but they are good enough to at least for me to maneuver and enter the fight with better situational awareness. It also important to note that when flying in this configuration with Spotting Dots disabled I do lose the dots.
