  2. As a happy VAICOM user for the past six years, if you have questions ask here in the forum under input\VAICOM, and/or join the Discord. There are lots of extra stuff you can do with VoiceAttack/VAICOM, like say "gear up", and it can trigger the correct keybind sequence depending on the modules you're in. You can also have different TX/PTT buttons per module. Word of note! Tracks WILL be broken! Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  3. If you are in SP, it's a known and long standing bug. In order for Lantirn or TCS for that matter to show something, you needed to spawn, exit the plane and spawn in again. After that, everything is back to normal.
  4. Another issue is the F10 menu option and the inability to select generic AWACS or ATC even when on the correct frequency. I can't get "picture" etc. This just makes everything harder in missions-thus another reason I die so often.
  5. The lantirn is pointing at my WP through the Jester command WPdes. But i tried several other way to use the TGP ( with eyes, with HUD). I see the white point moving ( TGP position) where i look/ designate for example but no terrain image. I am already in fly for my test and my TGP is running and visible in my VDI (upper screen). As said before i have all the information relative to the TGP in my VDI ( white markings) but no terrain image even if i've adjusted the contrast and brightness. I've never had this issue since the last monthes when i try A2G employment with the TGP
  6. Anybody know if you can turn off friendly AI and just have Red AI going only?
  7. @baltic_dragon I just flew M6 again without any time acceleration and it seemed to run ok. However, after returning to the correct shelter and getting the mission complete logo the game tells me I've skipped M6 and finished M9. Any clues? Spankle
  8. Hi, My wingman also wasn't responding to 'Engage ground targets'. I tried to convey it on both Channel 1 and 4 radios. I do have VoiceAttack and Vaicom though so it's not the cleanest install. I tried Dive Laydown mode initially, but got caught with SAMs pretty quick maybe I'll try Dive mode next. I was able to remove my battle-damaged F4 with one stabilizer only from the AO . I thought I could put it down on one of the roads. Turned out I did not have enough stabilizer authority for a flare and splashed into the ground. Rough first try
  9. For now. They did say it would depend upon sales, so it's a possibility. Not a no.
  10. Today
  11. So I have no clue if its a bug or just how the F-4 works but the radar gunsight is heavily inaccurate it is not leading correctly i'm not expecting computed lead like the hornet or viper but this just seems way off also sorry for the bad quality had to compress the video due to file size 2025-10-13 22-28-47.mp4
  12. Your number three kept me very busy from 1974-78, and 79-81.
  13. The problem with the Hip is someone designed the cockpit by loading a blunderbuss with switches. In contrast the Hind has all the same systems plus a few more and is very straightforward to start up.
  14. Ahhh… “Бирюза” Turquoise in English… but why “T” in Cyrillic? Confusing.
  15. Slightly off topic: is there any near future developments to make HMD displays color? Or rather, more colors than green? Or does that present visibility issues for the pilot? or maybe a technical limitation? I ask because in my imagination, this would seem to have great utility if we could have multi-color displays... yet I can't recall any serious effort to do this for anything more than arcade games, I've never once heard of even thinking of trying it in real aircraft, I kind of thing there's probably a strong reason it's not been implemented yet? I know that green displays are have a great deal of clarity/visibility for see-through displays, so as a choice it makes perfect sense... but for displaying super complex fusion of information, I'd wish that more colors were available.
  16. I guess we also need to strongly consider current/future HOTAS controls may have a degree of interface control over the systems, that more fully enable mission completion or at least a safe RTB even with degraded displays... I'm not talking about using hat switches to select this weapon or that, but maybe more like controls for menu navigation to get tasks done. And I'm sure they'll give a degree of AI to help determine wants and needs...(cue The Terminator theme song). I do wonder about the toughness of such a large display to the thumps and vibrations of doing combat flight, in particular if missile prox fuses have explosions close by but not quite close enough to kill your plane... or the rough air that very low level flight at treetop level can sometimes experience. But I guess additional backup displays, modern HMD's and partial LAD survivability would go a long way to making these concerns kind of a non-issue?
  17. It sounds like you're looking for a replacement of the China Hat Aft Short HOTAS command "Boresight TGP" from the DCS A-10C module. There's no such HOTAS command any longer in the DCS A-10C II module. However the TGP A-G page now has OSB 5 "B/S" dedicated to boresighting the TGP, and as a bonus you can type a suitable number into the UFC scratchpad and boresight the TGP to this depression in mils when pressing OSB 5 "B/S" on the A-G page. Is that what you've been looking for?
  18. I thought the roundels might’ve needed adjusting, I had a quick scan through the thread but couldn’t find the page where it was discussed but it’s here. Something about the width of the red I think? No biggie. The little tractor and bowser looked ok a while back, obviously we don’t know what work’s been done to em if any so no sweat on those. Thought they might have come as a sort of ‘Lanc Assets pack’ or something . Cheers again for all the work, per Avro ad Astra
  19. @Sprool this is a well known and well documented issue that @BigNewy has told us all repeatedly that he does not experience on his Pimax Crystal and marks every topic closed. So, yeah.
  20. Thanks, I'm glad you had a blast! Indeed, it's a break away from the realistic campaign I usually make, it's meant to be played like an 80s action movie like Top Gun or Iron Eagle.
  21. Agree with this, but not via AI. Voice actors are a welcome part of any game, and even right now there are different voice actors for different countries in-game for a change of pace.
  22. Yes, that's the problem with the JF-17. So few people buy it you can't really fly it like it was meant to be flown.
  23. I wasn't sarcastic. I've never ever seen this, while I rarely make my own missions, and haven't touched the Su-25T for a couple of years. Could be it. Hope it's fixed now. Cheers!
  24. Only if you use type 2 jamming. Should have been nearly the same for the F-16.
  25. I have two Quest Pro's, both bought from new in 2023, and have the same issue with both that the controllers constantly lose tracking after not being used for a while. For DCS I only use them to get past the connection from the Meta desktop to the PC, then start DCS from the desktop with the mouse. When I exit DCS I have to wave them about & press the trigger for about 5 seconds or so until they are correctly located by the headset so that I can point the 'laser' at the quit desktop option. A few times each week either the left or right controller will just shutdown and have to be restarted if I need to use it. I do use them occasionally when using X-Plane 11 & 12 as there are some panels and menus, which don't respond to mouse clicks, that have to be clicked with the laser or menus activated by pressing the B or Y button and I always have to press the trigger or menu button repeatedly for up to 5 seconds before the laser beam, which always appears a few inches to the left of where it should be, finally tracks to the correct place. I haven't found a way of preventing this happening, though keeping the the front of the headset and the controllers clean by wiping with a microfibre cloth does seem to help the initial tracking connection when first powering up the headsets it doesn't stop them failing to be tracked later on. I connect one headset via Meta air link to a PC with helicopter controls & the other via Meta cable link to a PC with aircraft controls so don't think the connection method is a factor. Both machines are running Steam and I don't used QuadViews or any other 3rd party software.
  26. Well, better not overdo it then. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
