The problem is, capabilities are one thing, how they are used is another. EW aircraft have a lot of gear that allows them a lot of control over their jammers. Even a Vientam era design will be equipped with knobs for every parameter imaginable, and those knobs would be tuned based on what the operator sees on the screen. What's classified, even for Vietnam era jammers, is how it all comes together. Radar modeling in DCS is pretty detailed on new modules, so it follows the jamming would have to be, too.

Is this in a mission you made, or a user mission or even multiplayer? I seem to recall there was a way to use a 'standard' carrier instead of the 'crew and stuff' supercarrier.

Sadly, this is a very vague comment; without knowing drag index, gross weight, altitude, and throttle setting, we really can't say if there is an issue or now, as well as what charts you are referencing, etc.

I don't know. I certainly agree with the focus being on the actual aircraft and its systems being good, but I can't deny that little effects like that tend to go a long way. It's why a lot of the simulators of old seemed rather sterile, I feel, the way that the static cockpit and the world outside were so disconnected.

@SharpeXB and @Furiz when you notice the stuttering, and go into mouse polling settings, are they set correctly? meaning, do the settings seem to revert to a different rate than what you set? i wonder if the settings are sticking? interesting suggestion here is to change to a different mouse to test.

Thanks, guys. I understand you're working on a different model, but keep an eye on the JF17. It's the best red plane and the most modern DCS plane. You've created a work of art. It's the jewel of DCS. I hope you can tweak those things to make it shine even more. Thanks for the work you do.

Hi, I've noticed last night when starting from the carrier, there was no one around to guide me. I just went and got everything ready for take off, then automatically when I started afterburners, I was pushed forward for takeoff. No one to salute to or anything. When coming back and landed, I just circled around the carrier. Is this a bug? Anyone else notice this?

Um nochmal ein paar „harte“ Fakten beizusteuern: Mir ist nur ein einziger belastbarer Direktvergleich zwischen aktuellen AMD- und Intel-CPUs in DCS bekannt. Ich meine, das war 12. Generation Intel gegen die damals aktuelle AMD-Konkurrenz. Weiß gar nicht mehr, wer da vorne lag, aber das Interessante an dem Benchmark war, dass die Performance mehr oder weniger der erwarteten durchschnittlichen „Gaming-Performance“ entsprach. Dass DCS sich komplett anders verhält als andere Spiele, schien damit also widerlegt. Von daher wirkt AMD momentan erstmal wie die bessere Wahl. Wenn du eine Intel-CPU aber stark reduziert bekommst, kann das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis natürlich trotzdem sehr attraktiv sein! Ich würde eine aktuelle AMD-X3D-Variante mit Single-Chip-Design empfehlen - also nicht zwingend die größte, die dann aus zwei Chips zusammengestückelt wäre...

Modelling suppression fire mechanics against AI. Would be very cool in helo ops but useful for any type of vehicle or aircraft your playing as, would be especially cool when flying the CH-47 or Mi-8 into simulated hot LZs or passing near enemy infantry in wooded areas. Lay down a little cover fire in the general vicinity, to cause the AI to pause for a few seconds and rethink their virtual life.

Еще заметил что пуск Р73 в горячем старте в воздухе не возможен по истечении 1 минуты после старта миссии, то есть у нас при старте оружие не готово и скорее всего оно охлаждается. Также не возможен пуск ракеты без предварительного захвата КОЛС, если захватывать с помощью тгс ракеты. Потом уже можно и тгс ракеты наводить и стрелять Так же почему то сектор захвата ракеты ограничен +-45 гр. В гс3 миг29, проверял сегодня, команда ПР выдается тоже в этих пределах, но можно снять ограничение на пуск и стрелять вплоть до+-60гр сколько шлем по азимуту предоставляет

Приветствую вирпилов и разработчиков, после последнего апдейта заметил что при использовании ракет Р73 в режиме ШЛЕМ, когда смотришь на цель более 30 градусов относительно носа и пытаешься произвести захват, то на шлем ничего не выводится и нет звукового сигнала и надписи на ИЛС "ПР". Хотя при этом появляется на ИЛС номер ракеты которая захватила цель и ее можно пустить. nullnull R73andHELM.trk

Okay, so I got a success this time. I shot down 6 bombers between myself and my wingman and I made sure that all - or at least most - missiles hit the base. What I didn't realize was that I needed to say "winchester" to AWACS. That's what started the dialogue for me to land at the nearby airstrip. So it's possible on my previous attempts if I had just said "winchester" I could have got the remaining dialogue and succeeded.
