  2. Hello, I used to use an HP G2 with Open XR and Toolkit. Now I'm using a Meta Quest 3, and I assume it also works with Open XR and Toolkit. So that means the Quest 3's settings don't necessarily have the same settings as the HP G2's? And for the Quest 3 to work with Open XR and Toolkit, do I also need to disable the HP G2's settings because it's still installed? I need your advice. Thanks in advance for your help.
  3. With altitude set to 98ft they drop, but always 200m short of the target. If I increase the altitude to 200ft, they zoom up to a few thousand feet then plunge themselves vertically right into the ground.
  4. "airspeed gauge" Anything should work, really, as long as it's a different name than "default."
  5. In my missions they drop all four, however they consistently drop them 200m short of the target on low-altitude runs, and in some cases prior to the target they will zoom climb up to 2,000ft then suddenly spiral themselves into the ground for no reason.
  6. You are correct, I was assuming that the DDS built-in compression was better, guess it is tuned for faster uncompression than minimum size. However, on the liveries I tested the difference isnt as big as 55 vs 278:

The ME offers two kinds of template, my original post uses "Static Templates" while you are using "Group Templates", mine look like this: 1) First I select the Static Template from my collection: 2) This template contains one aircraft of each type, for which I have setup its radio frequencies to be as compatible with each other as possible: Each of these aircraft can then be copied and pasted wherever you need it, once you have the mission ready you can delete these "template" aircrafts. However, the new DTC feature of DCS seems to be another way of attaining the same objective, perhaps you should consider it instead of my technique

  16. It doesn't seem to occur if you just extend and retract in the air, I don't think it's a hydraulic pressure issue, so I would be very interested in what is going on if it's not wear and tear. The actual flight manual doesn't seem to say anything about it.
  17. 1-Set radio to contact Beslan (Caucasus) ATC: R-853 to channel 6 (141MHz) or YADRO-1 to 4750KHz 2-Select R-863 (all left) on SPU-8 3-Contact ATC to request Start-Up 4-SPU-8 "automagically" selects VHF (second position left to right, not functional as by Chuck's Guide) after the ATC contact Have to re-select the correct radio before any contact with ATC. DCS 2.9.19.13478 I don't have a log/track file(gave up using the radio, the last one I did has already been overwritten)... if you can't reproduce let me know (so I jump into the chopper and make a new one

  21. Gotcha! If I don't activate them I do get the fault so I was just trying to clear the fault I guess. I won't even press the button to activate the EGI and just acknowledge/clear the fault instead. Thanks, appreciate you!
  22. @Havoc86 thanks for the shout out. @NomadActual I also made an An-28 (including an Aeroflot livery) that may be suitable for a cold war scenario. Obviously, it isn't the size of a Tu-154 but it will provide you more civil air options for the era M-28 Skytruck / MC-145 /An-28 (AI only)

  24. То есть Ту-5 нет для современных авиасимов? В Х-плэйн 11 есть отличная моддель Фелисса Ту-5М. С доводкой от Мастерской в варианте с ФМС. От них же на базе той же модели Фелисса появился Ту-154Б2. Недавно её портировали с доводкой в принципе 12й плейн. Так же есть Ту-134А3 и Б и Ан-24РВ в 11 плэйне. Як-40 тоже завозили, правда он на фоне Ана немного не так выглядит. А вот летает прям хорошо.
  25. Now that you mention it, I'd far more fancy helo ops over land instead of sea. Lucky for us that the Lynx was used for both!
