AWACS fortunately are not omniscient. They also have radar range, RCS, terrain masking and notch limits, banked high wing blocking the picture in its direction, etc. so it's totally possible to be ambushed even with AWACS support. Otherwise report a bug with a track.

You can't. It all comes down to situation. But in fair fight you can't beat F-16 from 2007. using 80's tech. If F-16 had sparrows then you can beat it, sure.

Another option would be to check the polling rate of your other input device (mouse). DCs seems to be particular allergic to high polling rates. (Like a lot of "gaming" mouses have - personally I would also try to get rid of proprietary software like Razor or Logitech for that matter)

The best I ever found is using DLAA with the K preset enabled in Nvidia Profile Inspector. Nothing else works worth a hoot for me. To minimize ghosting, turn off Sharpening. I use a 2560 x 1440 single screen. AD

For longer TWS shots you don't need Jester interaction at all. Just choose Phoenix, AA mode, Master Arm On and fly intercept high and fast. Jester will turn on TWS Auto mode. When in range, depending on the closure speed, fire the missile, crank to keep the lock (until Phoenix active) and reduce the closure, lose alt to stay below target. Of course bandits will defend and some of your shots will miss but 100% miss seems like something you do wrong or the targets were hit by your friendly flights already. Below 20nm, as already said, either ask Jester to lock the "target" ("enemy" is only for IFF confirmed bandits) or use PAL mode.

What do you mean? With datalink there are three options. A circle that guides to intercept, a circle that guides straight to them, and a rear intercept. However the circle is on the HUD in a 45 degree scale (just like circle in navigation mode, the path wanted is 45 degrees off when circle at edge of hud), so even when your intercept is straight to them, circle won’t cover target unless perfectly centered

Lösung gefunden. Die G502x Maus hatte eine zu höhe Melde/Abtastrate im Profil gespeichert. Bissl runtergedreht und es geht wieder ohne Ruckeln. Vielleicht hilft es anderen .....
