Op Talisker single player and multiplayer (up to 6) for A10c Final Release. I've included all you will need (e.g. Mission Data Card, route map, IP-TGT maps, SAtellite pics). Mission file also includes aircraft and wingman comms (created using sony Soundforge). Op Talisker has 2 versions, SP is single player & MP6 is multiplayer for up to 6 clients (includes AAR and FACs). Can easily run with 2 to 6 Clients though as tasking is slightly different. My main goals were:- fun to fly, realistic and immersive. Any constructive criticism or comments appreciated. Hi All, I have had a mixed bag of results with the use of dumb bombs in CCIP and CCRP, generally speaking, flying skills apart, the issue is related to wind (not diet related, but atmospheric). I have just gone through the procedure of entering wind correction into the CDU to correct for this, and the results speak for themselves. Below is the walkthrough of the procedure I use, I hope it is of some use to you fellow sim pilots, and hope I am not teaching you to suck eggs! Sorry for all the pics!!! CCRP bombing, paired release @ 6000 ft 210kts. Wind 270 degrees 15m/s As shown above, the bombs missed their mark, and no damage done to the target. This was a stable release, wind accounting for the miss. Procedure for correction: 1) On the CDU panel, press the SYS button, then press the LASTE button: 2) Click the wind OSB to enter the wind correction page: 3) This is where you can enter the wind correction data. Start off by entering the altitude of the first layer of wind. I start with ground level. To do this, enter 00 in the scratch pad, then click the first empty line on the left to enter this altitude. 4) Repeat the process for other wind layers if known. What I did here was repeat the wind speed and direction data for my altitude, so the adjustment calculation took place. In this case I entered 06 (for 6000ft) and placed that altitude in the line beneath the first: 6) When you have enetered all the layers you desire, press the WndEdit button. In this step you enter the wind speed and direction. How you get this data is up to you :) You can get it form the mission editor, Air traffic, even the JTAC gives the wind vector for you. To enter the data you have to enter 5 digits. The first 3 digits is the direction of the wind, so 000 = north and so on. In this case, 270 was the wind direction. The 4th and 5th digits is the wind speed in m/s So wind speed 15 ms at 270 degrees, we enter 27015. If wind was at 10 degrees and 7 m/s, you should end 01007 Once entered, hit the OSB for the layer you want to add this data. Repeat this for all layers. 7) Next step is to add the temperature data for each layer. Again get this from the ME/brief. You also have the current temperature shown in the CDU on the top right. I just used this temperature accross all layers. 18 degrees here. 8) Once done, hit the WIndTemp OSB to go back a step and store the data: 9) Get yourself lined up.... and bombs away!!!! "Good bombs, good bombs" BDA flyby: As you can see from the result it seems to do the job nicely!!! The smoke also blows along the correction line... I would like to say there is no camera trickery here, and I hope the above isn't just a placebo, and my first run was just bad. But I tried this out a few times, and it appears to do the job. Ladies and Gentlemen, please choose your weapon: 370 JCL You send your foot down to MIS with a 4000-page document explaining how you want it to be shot. Three years later, your foot comes back deep-fried. Ada After correctly packaging your foot, you attempt to concurrently load the gun, pull the trigger, scream, and shoot yourself in the foot. When you try, however, you discover that your foot is of the wrong type. Algol You shoot yourself in the foot with a musket. The musket is aesthetically fascinating and the wound baffles the adolescent medic in the emergency room. APL You shoot yourself in the foot, then spend all day figuring out how to do it in fewer characters. Apple We'll let you shoot yourself, but it'll cost you a bundle. ASP.NET Find a gun, it falls apart. Put it back together, it falls apart again. You try using the .GUN Framework, it falls apart. You stab yourself in the foot instead. Assembly You try to shoot yourself in the foot only to discover you must first reinvent the gun, the bullet, and your foot. After that's done, you pull the trigger, the gun beeps several times, then crashes. Brain**** Just looking at the gun gives you a migrane, so forget about actually shooting it. Cray I knew you were going to shoot yourself in the foot. csh After searching the manual until your foot falls asleep, you shoot the computer and switch to C. CSS You shoot your right foot with one hand, then switch hands to shoot your left foot but you realize that the gun has turned into a banana. dBase You buy a gun. Bullets are only available from another company and are promised to work so you buy them. Then you find out that the next version of the gun is the one that is scheduled to actually shoot bullets. DOS Batch You aim the gun at your foot and pull the trigger, but only a weak gust of warm air hits your foot. Eiffel You create a GUN object, two FOOT objects and a BULLET object. The GUN passes both the FOOT objects a reference to the BULLET. The FOOT objects increment their hole counts and forget about the BULLET. (For those who don't know, English is a McDonnell Douglas/PICK query language which allegedly requires 110% of system resources to run happily) Forth Foot in yourself shoot. If you run out of bullets, you continue anyway because you have no exception-handling ability. Да это все понтно, но мы же н е об этом. Как вы сами только что заметили даже наличие реальных навыков не гарантирует успех. В данной теме обсуждается вопрос, насколько процедуры управления в симуляторе состветсвует процедурам и принципам управления в реале. Ну посудите сами. Если я сяду в реальный вертолет и нажму на тумблеры электропитания так же как в симуляторе, они что не сработают? (естесвенно при условии что машина полностью готова к полету, т.е кароче при тех же условиях что и в симе.) Да я сожгу или выведу из строя мат-часть своими неправильными действиями, но это уже другой вопрос. Я прекрасно понимаю о чемвы хотите сказать, к примеру когда я сел а АН-2 и начал пилота спрашивать где тут что, причем я сам говорил , а он тока подтверждал и комментировал. Н ооптом я хотел нажать на рычаг колесного тормоза с поросом -ЭТО ТОРМОЗ? :huh: Он меня сразу одернул: НЕ НАЖИМАЙ ТОЛЬКО!!!! :fear: А ТО РАСХОДУЕТСЯ. Но если представить что возле меня также будет стоять инструктор и говорить включай то или это. Я же буду понимать что он мне говорит?:yay: Другое дело если я сяду в каконить Ил-2 , и кто то мне скажет включай акамуляторы, вот здесь я сяду на попу и буду думать а где ЭТО:huh:1 point

Ну... они там висят, точнее - висели, и я ими стрелял. Только было это еще в прошлом году. Это было обновление Мат. Части. Помню, выполнял 3 пробных вылета на боевое применение, на учебных стрельбах все и закончилось: в ВБ против нескольких хор. вооруженных противников они особо не помогают - тут начинает рулить Мозг, или ИИ - зависит от развития первого :D Не знаю. У меня с ФШ пока проблемы - не помню, в какой последовательности ставить ФШ и применять лекарство, а друг, у которого я ФШ брал, все ридмишники пох**ил :(.1 point

Да при чём тут реальность, неужели нельзя было в ЛО2 сделать по-нормальному и реализовать инстументы для ограничения оружия в миссиях? Мне лично наплевать, какие там крутые харатеристики у АИМ-120 и Ф-22, дайте просто нормальную возможность играть без АИМ-120 и Р-77! Это достигаетя либо путём исключения из миссий Ф-15-х (т.е. против Игла мы опять нормально не повоюем), либо запрещением к применению определённых ракет на всех миссиях сервера, что не является приемлимым вариантом. Новички будут "очень рады" узнать, что забанены на серваке из-за того, что подвесили через НОП активные ракеты. P.S. Я бы всё-таки на такого зверя на Су-35-м пошёл:)1 point

I don't care when the next beta OR final sim is released. I have beta 4 and I still have MUCH to learn about this sim. Surely, even the best of you CAN'T know it all. The 64 bit and TIR work fine......For me at least! Take your time ED!!! I recently bought F1 2010 from Code masters. What a BIG let down that was. My 1st racing sim for 10 years. In fact not a sim but GAME! We got 1 patch that left the "game" with more issues than it fixed. My hat goes off to ED for even giving us this chance to "preview/develop" this sim. Честно говоря не очень. Дело в том что я не уверен что F-22 вообще против кого-то полетит. Если бы мог уже давно бы полетел. Очень недальновидное суждение. Конфликт имеет несколько стадий, в том числе и подготовку. Стратегические объекты охраняются частями ПВО/ПРО и т.д. Ваша неуверенность, да без пруфов, знаете ли, больше на паранойю смахивает. Вот тут мне ваши эмоции особо не ясны. Альтернативной реальностью я называю конфликт, который вы пытаетесь моделировать.1 point

d) Implement a "save" function in the game. "Do it right to start with." Really? Very poor form. I don't think that it's right for you to lecture us on how to prioritize our personal lives in order to accomodate a computer game. Quite the opposite, actually. Even in the middle of the night i have had to lose a 2 hour mission in Black Shark because I was on call. It is very frustrating, and it's not because I wasn't "do[ing] it right." Even trying to perform a workaround by saving a track doesn't work, because tracks are completely broken too, and have been for a loooong time!! Every track I've played back has lawn-darted me into the ground after five minutes or so. Should I have to prioritize my life because your program is busted? Absolutely not. Fix the program.1 point

may I add something here, I just downloaded and tried this Cinebench 10 software and I got 5849 for single core test and 21152 for 4 cores test, my CPU is i7 950 overclocked to 4GHz. What I am also thinking is that when they state i7 2600 is at 3.4GHz in this test is not correct as these CPU's auto-overclock and also when only 1 core is in use and others are idle the CPU has ability to shut down cores that are not in use so that core that is in use can overclock more. The default stated turbo freq for i7 2600(K) is 3.8GHz and for i7 2500(K) its 3.7GHz so they would have to be running at least at those frquencies when this test was done, so I am confused as to why they are not saying that and if I am correct this test is misleading. also price performance wise i7 950 that can easily overclock to 4GHz is still cheaper then i7 2600K that can also easily overclock to 4GHz but judging from this cinebeck 10 test for 1 core my CPU is the same as the i7 2500K (again which auto overclocks to 3.7GHz) but granted the i7 2500K is about the same price also1 point

После этого сохранил миссию, поэтому размер миссии такой же как и сам трэк (пооду он сохранился внутри миссии). Но всем желающим поюморить выкладываю отдельный веселый трэк. Ditto, I feel like creation information is lacking. UserDefined information for different parts, how to define spawn points, etc...is naming important?? I was able to figure out priority and materials. Higher priority means it is shown on top in an overlay of items, and all "driveable" regions are Material=runway, Semantics=runway, while overlays (taxilines, dirt/oil overlays, markings, etc.) are Material=runway, Semantics=land. I have tried to reuse parts from the airfield.max tutorial file, but selecting certain CrossRoadOnAirfield parts for .rn export causes max to crash, and none of my superficial objects are appearing in game when i export those parts via onlay_VPP.sup. It seems I have to use release plugins for land export, while debug must be used for airport export, but lately I haven't had luck with airports showing up at all. Another issue is making land LODs. The .doc tutorial is only suited for the case where you are exactly following the tutorial. I am doing it my own way and so I had to open the scripts and see what they do so that I could do those things manually. Unfortunately, I now have export issues with the LOD version. I get the following error. And then there's assemblescenes which I haven't even touched yet. You mentioned that it must be used after exporting an airfield, but I had successful tests with the airfields a few weeks ago without using it, but now they won't show up. Is this the reason?1 point

Какой же это HOT? HOT, это когда вид из кабины и ни каких видов вообще. Максимум карта F10 + грамотно написанный брифинг и поставленная задача в ней. А так же важен фактор грамотной разработки миссии с точки зрения работы наземки, ее движения, состава и т.д. Например, колонна танков должна быть не рпосто колонной, а смешанным подразделением с защитой ПВО и т.д. 1. Integrity check работает? На какие файлы? 2. Брифинг и боевая задача описаны? 3. FullReal? 4. Статистика есть? 5. Круглосуточный сервер? 6. Канал широкий? 7. А зачем вам это надо? :)1 point

При моделировании воздушного боя с апачем, при полной боевой загрузке (лично на моем опыте) выигрывает тот кто быстрее выйдет на максимальную дальность пуска с набором высоты. Если КА-50 выше поражение апача с первого птура близка к 100%. Но так как боты имеют известные возможности по обнаружению противника далеко и быстро в условиях симулятора шансов у Ка-50 практически нет. немного добавлю по поводу модернизирования КА-50 (во-первых живу за "забором" с ОАО "КАМОВ", а вертолеты, надо сказать, летают достаточно часто, во-вторых большинство соседей работаю именно на этом заводе) поверьте, там не все так плохо. И тепловизор у него давным давно стоит, и система воздух-воздух имеется, и система оповещения об радиолокационном облучении есть, там много чего и не так плохо как кажется. По всему остальному, лично мое мнение, всем известное "милевское лобби", которые уже создали корпорацию "Вертолеты России" и почему-то планируют сборку иностранных вертушек. Интересно правда, "самая крутая контора" как они сами себя позиционируют и вдруг иностранные вертолеты. по меньшей мере странно.1 point
