The mission file has no AWACS. And you and your wingmen are only flight. So there's no one that can send you data. You need to setup AWACS in the mission file.
-
If this is the mission file you posted on your first post, then you have no AWACS.

Also wanted to show same test run on Assetto Corsa which is known to be multi-threaded. This is Non-Vr. Which pretty much shows same thing as DCS Non-VR. VR version below also pretty much same as DCS VR mode. Just that Core 1 and core 5,6 are exchanged. However, it showed something interesting. I thought Cores 6, 7, 9, and 11 were not used as they showed virtually no usage. Until an AI car came and slammed into me. That's the small spike in the middle of the graph. So it may appear that the cores are not being used until the specific event those cores are assigned to occur.
-
This is taken using Afterburner as it shows the best in graph form. First is VR, second is 2D. You can see that core 1 and 2 have completely different looking graph than any other core. Suggesting they have their own task. Cores 3 and 4 however are mirror images. When core 3 is up, 4 is down, when 4 is up, 3 is down. This suggests core 3 and 4 are on same task. Core 5 and 6 are also mirrors. Based on the track file I played, core 5 and 6 seems to respond whenever the plane maneuvers. Core 11 seems to respond when I use weapon systems. Core 9 when there's radio messages. Of course these are my guesses based on what's happening in the game because we'll never know how it's distributed unless we have SDK. Now Non-VR shows something different. Core 1 and 2 are mirrors. And unlike VR mode, core 3 and 4 are virtually not used. So we can assume core 3 and 4 are used for VR compositor. And my guess is core 2 was used for extra draw call for VR right eye in VR mode. So in Non-VR, I'm guessing that DCS uses minimum of 4 cores and turning SMT (or HT) on or off probably wouldn't affect performance. But in VR, it uses more than 6 processes so using SMT/HT did show extra performance at least it was in my case. If you have 8 or 12 physical core, it may not. It all depends on hardware but I was just trying to show it uses more than just 2 cores. Also if you are using 3rd party app like Voice Attack, they will likely use their own process.

That's dictated by the game engine. Windows doesn't override that.

Or use Edge
-
I didn't use task manager. I used HW monitor core usage, temperature, and clock. And as I mentioned, there was definite performance difference between SMT on and off. Suggesting more core improves performance in 2.7 whereas in 2.5, it made no difference.

Use Edge

I don't have Odyssey but keep connecting monitor on and off is not a good idea. Does your motherboard have graphic port?
-
Not true. Many do and they'll say it's IC safe if it does pass. Unofficial "texture" mods that go into main install path do not pass IC. This Barthek's mod is this case and will not pass. Texture mods that goes into SavedGames folder do pass IC.

For my Vive Pro, I wipe it with wet towel before each use. And once or twice a month, I take the foam off, soak it in soapy water and dry. As long as you don't scrub it, it should be okay. If it can handle being soaked in your sweat, it can handle soapy water.

You need to restart. That's DCS bug.

This fixes absence of rain. Also adjusted lightning. Updated 3-18-2022: This was temporary mod until ED fixes the rain. They have. However, I'm leaving it because this mod still does offer lingering lightening, smaller and more water droplets, faster rain fall. File below is compatible with latest as of 3-18-2022. Also fixes Rain 3 preset not having sound and droplets. DOWNLOAD: Taz1004_Rain.zip INSTALL: Extract to main DCS install path. OvGME or other Mod Managers recommended. Not IC Safe.

VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
Taz1004 replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Always uninstall any mods that goes into main install path and reapply. Why you should be using mod manager. You can keep SavedGames mods. -
This is one of the reason I stayed with Vive line as you can upgrade headsets only cutting the upgrade cost in half.
-
All modules have their own comm file. This doesn't have to be applied to FC3 or easy comm.
-
I don't have VP2 yet but I'm guessing it is similar to VP1 as I do have similar issue. I always keep default windows sound to speaker and set to Vive audio in DCS. So only DCS will always play through Vive. One issue with this is that volume control on Vive doesn't work. So lately, I've been using this Home | Audio Switcher Simple hotkey to switch between audio devices. This should be Windows default feature.

If money is no object, I'd get Vive Pro 2. Higher resolution and refresh rate than Reverb G2 but main reason I'd chose Vive Pro 2 over Reverb G2 is that Vive is native Steam. Don't have to mess with WMR. And I'd stick with consumer products as well for compatibility and support. Software and API change all the time and mainstream consumer products will promptly keep them updated. And they're more likely to be around for awhile versus you never know when those enterprise product companies will go away.

Unless you show what you're doing in those other situations, I can't comment on the reason. But from what you've shown, it's not a bug. And according to Wag's video, you have to confirm on first two minutes.
-
Incorrect start-up. You did Norm INS and didn't confirm Lat, Long, Alt. It's not a bug.
-
That's probably a better solution. Come to think of it, only the target frequency you tuned to show up whether it be ATC or JTAC or Tanker. That's not what we're talking about. If you press comm and then ATC, whole list of airfield comes up. And number for the base you took off from varies based on distance.

aircraft suddenly pitches up when crossing runway threshold
Taz1004 replied to prof_laser's topic in Bugs and Problems
I experienced this about 3 times as well. Always happens at exact spot and only with A10C-II. No plane in front of me. Too consistent to be considered random weather effect. -
Moved saved games folder mods don't show in game
Taz1004 replied to fang16's topic in 3rd Party Module Tutorials
You have to right click on the Saved Games folder, Properties, Location, specify new location and then choose Move. Can't just drag/move it.
