I don't have Hind but Apache. I set No clouds and then I set clouds ceiling at desired altitude and cloud thickness above 1km and shadows to low.

I still have Rift S. If Rift is connected to a PC you just gently tap it and sensors should pick that and front blue light must turn on. I didn't have similar problems as you describe. I could play and then I hear scratchy sound, goggles goes dark and tiny white dot between lenses turn on. Game was still running oculus restart and in Oculus Notification area says that cable was not connected. I try every possible solution as you but nothing works. I remember that I often step on cable and with wheels on gaming chair. And this is a big NO GO cable god damaged and restart from time to time witch was super annoying. Since I buy new cable all troubles are gone and take care that I don't step on cable.

I prefer to fly it as I was in KA-50.

Same happen in singleplayer you need manually set gun range or you will not fire. I hope it's just a temporary bug that will be squashed in next update.

When he fires and stop I just swap to Hellfire and back to gun and he shoot again... sometimes will not work tho...

I have X-56 and I use rotary top button on throttle for rudder and works beautifully. I don't recommend twist axis because your wrist won't hold all the time. I have pedals but I don't use them.
