  2. You were on discord? what about ” Double-check to see if you're logged into Discord's Desktop/Browser client or Mobile app - You'll be able to view your backup codes with your current password! Search your computer for "discord_backup_codes.txt"”
  3. I thought it was a Tranche II. The old Tranche I pre-block V upgrade was VEAOs eurofighter correct? I think we are supposed to launch with air to air only and it will be similar to a T1 aircraft but will eventually become a T2. I thought that was it anyway. Though T1 has the advantage of a manual in the wild.
  4. NASIC bought quite a few in the 90s. Perhaps if the legal issues are cleared up it will be possible to do all three FC3 Migs as full fidelity.
  5. NASIC purchased Moldovan 9.12 and 9.13 Mig-29 in 1997. Probably can get very detailed info from them.
  6. Of course, I completely understand. But if you or anyone else ever want to make one I can point you in the right direction for documentation.
  7. I got a tremendous amount on the Mig-29 systems. I don’t think docs are an issue, probably just legal fears from ED. But I actually hope a third party picks it up. I have great docs on the Radar and it would be awesome if one of the devs with the great radar models picked it up.
  8. From the UK National Archives https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C17574615 Credit to Flame2512 this describes ECR-90A

  10. The Iraqi’s played around with putting French EXM on their Fulcrums but I’m not sure how well it worked out for them.
  11. https://m.doc88.com/p-7035489262127.html# Chinese translation of society of experimental test pilots paper on apg-68(v)9. Recommend google lense. Has some interesting info on the Radar family as a whole.
  12. Chinese translation of Society of experimental test pilots paper on apg-68(v)9. Explains a bit how it works vs older versions and how it gains that range (and thus why older versions might lack. Recommend google lense.. https://m.doc88.com/p-7035489262127.html#
  13. @Figaro9 Credit for the drag info this is all I have on JF-17 performance mig-29 aerodynamic manual is easily accessible online. I have a paper on the OEF as well. “ПРАКТИЧЕСКАЯ АЭРОДИНАМИКА САМОЛЕТА МИГ-29” https://www.key.aero/forum/modern-military-aviation/5509-raaf-vs-malaysian-mig-29s It seems even with the base F404 engine, 35 degree AoA limit and AIM-9M the F/A-18 can muscle out a slight advantage over the fulcrum. Our 402 powered one might have a comfortable superiority even if the Fulcrum is dangerous. I notice the advantages mentioned sound a lot like how the F-86 and Mig-15 stacked up. 枭龙飞机与竞争机型的对比研究.pdf
  14. Hey guys! here is the hornets drag polar in this thesis https://core.ac.uk/download/pdf/232847155.pdf you can use some of the 402 data from the gao report to calculate sections of the flight envelope. I haven’t tried but I was told it seems accurate. While the old f404 hornet falls out of the sky the 402 is a hot rod. im less sure about the mirage. I have engine data but nothing on drag. I’d have to search some French papers http://elodieroux.com/ReportFiles/ModelesMoteurVersionPublique.pdf I’m actually not at all sure how accurate it is. Maybe it is. It’s been described as equally to the hornet in game and I understand the Rafale and 402 hornet are well matched in real life but I don’t know. We have an aerodynamic manual for the Mig-29 and thrust curves. Could we calculate that?
  15. I asked this in another thread and @Beamscannerhad some good information
  16. From the J-8 designers biography, google translated.
  17. I’ve always wanted to go to Hamamatsu and see the F-2 mock up, it’s the original 1992 EMD mock up Mitsubishi Komaki Plant Museum is another I wanted to see. J8M, Zero, F-2 wing, Fs-x models and a lot more.
  18. Two reports on J-8 radars. The top is from a University thesis https://m.doc88.com/p-7252361064576.html The second is a report on an upgraded version fitted to the J-8III, later it was back fitted to late model J-8 (release statement on page 2 bottom by the Chinese “Released by the Ministry of Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China on 1996-06-14”) https://m.doc88.com/p-9909000233569.html# anyway it seems to support KLJ-1 is a Chinese domestic version of apg-66 with homemade parts. J-8pp in terms of sensors and armaments should be very similar to production late model J-8 while the cockpit should have some similarities.
  19. @FlankerFan35 Thanks for these image of J-11a with pl-12
  20. Apparently in real life they are starting to carry them on the centerline stations. why not a AI J-11B? Pl-12 is in game and we have fairly detailed radar specs, and I have thrust curves for the AL-31f and WS-10a
  21. An early Su-27? Probably, with available info and information from SME, papers, info behind the scenes. Maybe not ED because Russia but if someone set out to do it maybe. Later ones? Maybe some of the economy Su-30mkk versions. I’ve seen people have or get their hands on stuff. I’d give it a few years but I’m sure eventually.
  22. https://imgur.com/gallery/tX6Zo57 one of the early J-10 prototypes was compromised. The office of naval intelligence used this information to simulate the J-10 for threat analysis in the 1996 and 97 challenges to naval strike https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=buf.39072023126307&view=1up&seq=36 I wrote the DIA and ONI they seemed positively inclined to release the documents though it’s a long wait. This is an R29 powered version but the chief engineers memoirs helpfully explains the differences which are primarily the intake and rear fusalage size (the first AL-31F powered prototype was two large and had to be reduced to match the R29 version’s performance). While waiting I’ve gotten some excellent information in the form of two documents on the KLJ-1 radar (predecessor of J-10’s KLJ-3) and a presentation by 14 institute on transmitters on the Klj series of radars including the J-10. So hopefully in a few months a J-10A might be possible.
  23. Just some minor grips block 30 has slightly worse acceleration the block 50, about a second subsonic and a bit more supersonic where the F110-ge-100 has some known issues low and fast. The block 50 has the best acceleration but they are close. Block 30 has slightly better turning under comparable loads. Both aircraft are quite close to each other. i wouldn’t say block 32 is bad. Both the block 25 and 32 weigh about as much as a late block 15. The original block 42 is probably the only truely underpowered F-16.
  24. Why a block 32 out of all blocks?
