  1. just hit NWS once to turn the Laser off
  2. from what i can see within 30 seconds of the video you had you laser on all the time. That thing should not be longer active than 2 minutes at the most. you burnt your own laser, go and get yourself a new one. drop bomb -> laser on -> boom -> laser off rinse and repeat.
  3. the few degrees is the MagVar. set EHSD to True heading
  4. there is a lot you could have done wrong. first off all what lasercode did you set? it would be more easy if you could just upload a short trackfile so we can look what you actually do or capture a video of you doing it.
  5. as said above the engine has a very high thrust / weight ratio, so it pushes you forward even in idle. the ‚bouncing‘ you experience is the front wheel drifting of sideways while being pushed forward by the engine. activate your NWS for the front wheel to be locked in place and the bouncing will stop.
  6. the 54 require a Diter pylon that can send data to the JDAM. The outer pylons are not capable of that
  7. the sound right now is still being largely worked on. so this will likely change a lot with the next patch.
  8. i use instead keybinding to right MPCD Button 3 and 4. That works perfectly. Not a Bugfix, but at least a workaround.
  9. Hey, please try the following and report if that fixed your problem: 1.) Visually aquire Target with your TPOD in TPOD SOI Mode 2.) Press TDC Down to set a Target Point 3.) Hold long Waypoint Increment to set the Target Point T0 as Steerpoint 4.) Press DESG on your EHSD to set the Steerpoint as a Target 5.) Select JDAM and Fuze 6.) Hold long Waypoint Increment to set Target Point as TOO (the red line appears) 7.) Now your Hud symbology should show a circle with N0 below it 8.) Once in Range the Circle will become thick outlined, this is going to unwind Counter Clockwise 9.) As soon as the unwinding is at the 7-3 o'clock position press and _HOLD_ pickle button The JDAM will release after about 1.5 seconds. This is the time it takes to transfer GPS data from the Airframe to the bomb. 10.) You will hear the 'clonck' of the bomb dropping, you can let go of the pickle button If this still doesnt work please submit a Trackfile (see Sticky)

  11. unlike the hornet this doesnt have a computer thats flying it for you. if you pull on the stick its up to you to decide where to stop or break your wings trying. you will want a curvature of ~23 to have better control at high speeds, depending on the stick you use
  12. u r supposed to send each of ur wingmen down in a 2 min delay for spacing and land yourself last. it will tell you when to quit
  13. if your curious, i was on the F10 map yesterday and when i got back to cockpit view i found myself (forgot to turn AFC on) going down from 35k feet alt in a 45° angle uncontrolled spin at MACH 1.25 with one wing tip missing after that even if i got to MACH 1.2 it didnt break the other wing though
  14. the Training Missions are all pre-Tpod update, so a lot of the Sensors are a bit tricky without watching some youtube vids that show how the changes work. i would recommend finding a squadron that has ppl available for some personal teaching though
  15. thats your INS unalligning when you power off without ground power. switch INS back to Off and back to IFA. About 1-2 min later its realligned.
  16. i find this weird what you are describing of the DMT slewing. Could it be that you have the wrong sensor SOI? Because what you are describing is the way the slewing and target locking works when INS or HUD is SOI. i dont have the 18 or the 10, so why should i miss out on the TPOD fun? But i will try some stuff this evening.
  17. i did buy the Harrier as my first module during the black friday sale. since then it has been improved a lot and i liked flying it more and more with every update. the training missions back then worked, but for the tpod update i had to watch a youtube video to understand how it works, as the traing was still referencing to the old module. i did fly the 18 and the 16 during the free2play event but i would still favor the Harrier for any air2ground mission i could think of. there seems to be a problem with the TDC slew, but that seems to be only happening for T16000 throttle users, so seems to be a hardware issue. some people say the sidearms dont work, and while they wont point towards the target anymore, if you got tone you can shoot. and if you got no tone because you are too far away but you can see the enemy unit on your tpod you can still point the targeting carrot towards it and shoot. the missile will track once its close enough. i dont use the DMT because thats gonna be gone with the AV-8B plus anyway. Hud repeater? never used. CCIP drop line off target? never had that happen to me. Gun Pipper is slightly low, but its no problem if you hold it just slightly higher. slight bugs like some lights not working for an update or two? i dont really give a crap. i have more than 650 hours racked up flying the harrier since november, so i would say if its working for me, it should normally for everyone. so if your asking my recommendation? thats a big fat: ‚yes‘ but i am a fanboy, so at the end its you who will decide
  18. well i have seen how A10 will employ their gun (like in a straigt line) to be able to hit the target. what you expect from the gun pipper? this is not a sniper gun, so you are expected to spray and pray
  19. i have no problems destroying Tunguskas and SA-11 with it. But please dont get a wrong impression of the Sidearm. This missile is not meant for doing DEAD or SEAD. Its for self defence. You get spiked, you point the targeting carrot of the agm122 towards the emission, check distance, fire your two missiles if in range, turn around and hit the deck. If good luck the threat might be gone, if not you stay low. A Gepard is rather though and has a very short range, you wouldnt want to use your sidearm for that if your doing DEAD, thats 1: not cost efficient and 2: a waste of a precious self defense weapon. for stuff like this you use a mk82 that comes at the cost of 1% of a sidearm

  21. yeah but that would be pretty much a cheat that would directly point out 100% of all targets thats in your line of sight. if you want that, that is alrdy in the game and is called ‚Labels‘
  22. left or right hand pattern you would normally find for your airport and runway in your check list. it can be both. for a Tarawa type CV in a CASE I landing a left hand pattern is enforced.
  23. to slew the DMT you have to press SSS aft and switch TV as your SOI
