Non è così malvagio il modello di volo di fs2020. Non so che video tu abbia visto, Ma con il realismo settato al massimo non è possibile osservare i comportamenti che descrivi. In ogni caso (mia opinione personale) i modelli di volo di DCS restano avanti a qualsiasi altro simulatore che ho provato.

Cmq Prepar3d versione Academic non può essere usato quale simulatore militare ma le licenze più costose hanno tutta la parte di training e sistemi militari, compresa una AI. Di fatto nell’ambito dei contratti militari è un concorrente di TheBattleSim (DCS versione professionale). Riguardo i confronti con fs2020 non sono d’accordo ne con mele e pere e neanche con moto e motorini.... Al massimo si tratta di auto sportive vs berline da viaggio.. Chiaramente le differenze sono notevoli ma non credo che ED possa ignorare totalmente cosa sta per succedere (notizia di oggi best seller su steam in un solo giorno di prevendite).... Anzi a dire il vero potrebbe sfruttare la nuova ondata di persone che si avvicinerà al mondo dei simulatori di volo (qualcuno a cui piace fare boom boom si domanderà dove poterlo fare)....

Using oculus tray tool. In game settings should be the same anyway as it is computed the same way (per axis) while for example steamvr supersampling is calculated on the total resolution

I don’t see all this difference...i tried to go up to 1.7 but was too much. At 1.5 worked fine but some dips. In the end I choose to set it at 1.2 and it seems good to me. Even 1.0 is not so bad in the rift S

Sono politiche di comunicazione diverse ma per me entrambe le case (heatblur e razbam) sono al top in DCS, e lavorano bene. Riguardo la fedeltà dei moduli in DCS, ti assicuro che nessuno di questi è e sarà fedele al 100%. Per tantissimi motivi diversi. Ad esempio anche l’f14b che abbiamo noi in dcs è in realtà un ibrido che non ha svolto una sola missione operativa. In quanto persino gli A (e quindi anche i B) sono stati aggiornati da metà anni 90 in poi per avere lantirn, hud sparrowhawk e ptid (lo schermone grande quadrato per il RIO). Uno così...con Lantirn, senza hud “vero” e con il TID dietro è esistito solo in fase di test, ovvero quando hanno iniziato a testare la capacità AG di precisione del Tomcat. Heatblur ha fatto questa scelta perché non è riuscita a trovare abbastanza documentazione per realizzare tutte le pagine (in senso di avionica) presenti nel PTID. Stesso motivo per cui non realizzeranno un f-14d dove c’è anche il radar aggiornato, gli mfd, un sistema di controllo del volo digitale e l’irst... Di esempi ulteriori ce ne sarebbero tanti ma già sono stato troppo lungo

Upgraded to Rift S = absolute train wreck SSAA has not to be used in VR. Then surely the 980ti is not enough with the Rift S at high settings, but the 2080 super should be plenty. Drop your pd to 1.0 in dcs and experiment with oculus tray tool settings. I have most settings on the high side, pd set to 1.2 in oculus tray tool for dcs.exe and with the Rift S I have no issues.

Infatti...bravissimo Phant...preciso come pochi. Diciamo che per sintetizzare quello che penso...pre MLA del modulo m-2000 non ti accorgevi di avere qualcosa non preciso al 100% a meno che non fossi un vero pilota. E questa considerazione si potrebbe estendere a tutti i moduli in DCS

As stated in the title i sell a TM Hornet grip with the warthog vkb adapter installed. It is for use with the VKB gunfighter 2 or 3 with the Rev B. pins. The original Thrustmaster connector will be included in the package. The grip is still in warranty as it was bought just a month ago. I am giving it away only because I took a winwing superlibra from an user on this forum, and I didn't plan it, but the price was good. I already sold the VKB gunfighter 3 base and so I don't need this other grip. I could keep it and buy a winwing adapter for it if the offers won't satisfy me. That’s insane....i have a better card then you but my system is not able to handle much lower settings then yours without going under 40fps. But I did a lot of benchmarks and the numbers are in line with what my system should have (passmark).

Tutto giusto, ma le opinioni sono spesso biased...anche io lodo il lavoro di heatblur...ma non dimentichiamoci che è stata la prima 3d party (leatherneck prima che si dividessero) e che cobra faceva mod in dc2/dcs prima di essere 3d party appunto, che il Viggen è ancora in early access ed è uscito prima dell’av-8b (di parecchio) e che per lo stesso Tomcat hanno dichiarato di essere al 50% nel podcast aircombat sim di qualche giorno fa. Sono attenti ai particolari e sicuramente finiranno quanto hanno iniziato, quindi la mia è tutt altro che una critica, ma è DCS ad essere infinitamente complesso. Razbam dalla sua ha avuto difficoltà all’inizio, ma si è messa in pari adesso... Ha incrementato il proprio personale...ha rinnovato gratuitamente il m-2000 che era finito, e se non usciva la collaborazione casuale con l’armee de l’air stava bene come era prima. Ci ho finito parecchie campagne con quello originale, per cui ti posso assicurare che show-stoppers non ne aveva. Hanno dichiarato che non abbandoneranno mai i loro moduli e che nulla sarà mai veramente finito in DCS (stesse parole di heatblur). Quindi la mia conclusione è che la gente è condizionata da opinioni scaturite da fatti vecchi e non più corrispondenti a realtà...addirittura spesso mi capita di sentire opinioni da gente che neanche ha provato i moduli in questione... Per cui felice di averli provati ed essermici divertito...in fondo prima dell’f18 il Mirage era il mio aereo base

GPU to run reverb G2 I had motion smoothing on... At that time i tried both wmr own thing (motion vector in its text file) and steamvr option which later became available to non valve/htc headsets (motion smoothing). My fps were locked at 45 (i had motion smoothing forced to always on for DCS)...but there were many situations were my system could not handle 45 fps and so oscillated between 36/42. I also tried the 60hz route but I wasn’t satisfied with that. I used fpsvr to try to understand what was going on...I know my stuff... I tried a lot and came to the conclusion that for now the Rift S is the best solution for DCS World VR. Later with other hardware and with the DCS optimizations we will see. I won’t spend 1300 euros on a gpu 20% better then mine, so we will see what happens with the next ones..

Se la ditta ti da accesso a determinati manuali (la licenza potrebbe aiutare in questo), che non sono pubblici ma neanche classificati, ma semplicemente proprietà intellettuale della ditta sicuramente è tutto più semplice. Riguardo gli armamenti come missili e bombe sicuramente sono classificati dati relativi a portate e funzionamento dei sistemi di guida/navigazione/datalink ma i dati disponibili bastano ed avanzano per poter fare del sano “educated guessing” che per un ottimo simulatore, ma sempre dedicato al mercato consumer bastano e avanzano. Non a caso anche quando le ditte hanno i dati reali (ED nel caso dell’a10c e la truegrit nel caso dell’Ef2000) gli stessi non possono essere usati, ma vengono invece “aggiustati”. Tranquillo neanche ti accorgeresti delle differenze.

Quoto entrambi il Mirage è fatto benissimo.... Ora che l’hanno rifatto del tutto è ancora più interessante. Ed anche l’harrier, che purtroppo uso poco, fa parlare bene di se. A detta di tanti amici quì presenti, con cui si vola nelle nostre serate, e che lo usano è fatto bene e non ha grosse mancanze rimaste. Penso che Razbam come tutti i 3d-party abbia dovuto imparare la piattaforma ed adattarsi man mano che ne guadagnavano in conoscenza della stessa ed esperienza
