Ok thanks...i also wouldn’t like to use the center detent cam...but I read somewhere that with the warthog/hornet grip it is needed. So are you using 50# spring with the 20cm extension and the warthog grip? Or without the extension?

I bought the warthog adapter...because the hornet one is not in stock and i am tired of not using my hornet grip...so i couldn't wait anymore. I have a 20cm extension but i cannot use it as i have not enough clearance forward (the grip touchs my desk). So actually I am using an MCG pro (which I will sell) without extension and with the standard no center cams, 1 #20 and 1 #10 springs on the Y axis and 1 #20 spring on the X axis. So my question...given the added weight of the Hornet grip, will be better to have more springs and cam with a center detent? What do you advise? Also i have seen a guy on facebook which managed to limit the throw of his Winwing stick using cable ties. Would be nice to limit Y axis forward and X axis like in many real planes (f18 and f14 among the others)

Unlikely...not possible without SDK. But for MP they can make possible to use the in cockpit knobs for tuning SRS frequencies

Progress pictures on the Eurofighter Typhoon True...for example some planes have pcmcia cards...but they cost quite a lot....a lot more then the commercial ones....that’s because those are guaranteed from the plane manufacturer to work on such extreme conditions

It would make sense to have Cyprus in...at least the airport (could be the only detailed thing of the island)...let’s hope for the future, would be nice with the Ef2000 and hopefully the Tornado

For this I advice you to set up your antenna axis as dx buttons (you can do it in the winwing throttle) and use with antenna up and antenna down commands.

Who cares about this stuff....do you really notice a difference? I would just like to have the sun filter when the visor is down...for situations where the sunlight hits the DDIs and those are not easily readable.

By default that button is a tempo to shift POV1 from a dx pov to 2 relative axis. You can use it as a dx button but you need to change it in your profile and then set. If you really need that (I don’t advice this anyway) you can find more informations on vkb site

Vulkan??? Sure...but the more units on the scenes, the more poligons, the more draw calls...put it all together with the simulation engine, the AI the Scripting (all on that tiny lonely CPU core) and you have many answers... You can experiment with mission editor and scripting very easily to see what really taxies the CPU frametimes... About Vulkan Last time we heard they were re-writing shaders and i have not any idea on when it will be done or how heavy is this task (i guess it is quite heavy)...in the last patches they got something in to improve CPU so probably Vulkan is not the only ace in the sleeve here. Probably we will see other improvements and then Vulkan

Unlikely... Dcs is mostly cpu bound in scenarios with many AI units and scripts going on... A new gpu won’t help there

You can use the command "Map Marker"...if you say "Map Marker 1 to Waypoint 1" Jester will use that f10 map marker and will input its coordinates in the Tomcat NAV system. You need to enable the AIRIO dialog extension for that to work. To place the markers on the map and label it I suggest to watch this:

Thanks for your reply. Yes I already wrote in some of the post above that I recorded it. Don’t worry i Know you guys are trying to help and can’t read a wall of text any time :) Today vaicomm support wrote me...and gave the blame on me that I corrupted the profile....i told them that i have done the reset twice...but they did ask it again...i did again (so 3rd time now) and no solution yet to this....so unless i corrupted a new profile it is not my fault... Anyway i discovered other quirks... For example “link decimal xx” command works well with every digit except with 0.. If i say “link decimal seventy” it is ok and works... If i say “link decimal zero” or “link decimal oh” then the result is an unrecognized “link 0.0”

Yes it is a known bug.. Transition between cases are still a little bit off...they don’t always work as intended. The SC is still WIP so we just need to wait a bit I guess :)

Once and forever, let me explan what OPEN BETA is meant for. Well my friend...you will get a big +1 by me... The last phrase especially is what I think.... The open beta/early access model is not meant for everyone... If you cannot accept blocking bugs...use the release and don’t complain in this way...do you want to help?report and provide tracks... For the ones who says that also the release has bugs...well software free of bugs doesn’t exist sorry... But if you do happen to find blocking bugs on the release...then you can be a bit more vocal (within the limits of good behaviors and kindness)...but i guess it is really difficult to have blocking bugs in the release. Then bigger servers that host big events...even the ones with prizes should be on the release... I don’t think there is a game out there were such kind of events are hosted on a beta branch...well because a beta is meant to be cutting edge and break things....
