Interesting, i find the TSD shows the wind in relation to heading, the PERF page shows the wind as metar from direction, check GS vs IAS in my screenshot. I just found that out, because the indications didn't make sense to me either.

George is not reporting single targets when locked. Manual says on page 355 George will scan the designated area for targets. If a single target is found, George will track it and report its type (range permitting). I dont think he is reporting any single target, type is just known when in the list. would be helpful if he did.

Well: it's not correct the way it is in DCS but I think it's not an issue especially in terms of frame rate which I think is more important than a static rotor movement. IRL: the rotor disc never tilts when not spinning. In all rotor systems you can only see the angle of attack changing with input controls on a stopped rotor only when the disc is spinning we get the impression that it tilts, because more lift is generated in different areas of the disc. Again: i don't think this is a bug, more like a cosmetic thing.

being shot with #2 engine out message, landed FRIENDLY airfield, shut down all engines, apu and rotors completely stopped. repair not possible with message "no can do- shut down engines" tried even a cheat shutdown... no change. there is a slight audio that remained on, even with BATT off -

I think not. I have spent almost 6000 hours in different real Helicopters as PIC and they do fly straight in calm air. maybe the problem seems exaggerated in AH 64 because you have the indicator ( vector) right in front of your nose (IHADSS) -

Thank you. simple answer: it is as is. the Boeing guys designed a <profanity>ty helo, it doesn't fly straight. the vertical stab can't compensate for TQ in forward flight, so the tail rotor has to do it and makes the chopper crab. thank you. -

I find that even in calm winds in cruise the AH 64 always wants to fly nose left when trimmed according to the " trim ball" it always wants to fly nose left, or when centered on the Vector indicator, half a ball right. is that correct behavior? -
I also agree that the weather-vane effect is missing. the aircraft just slides sideways instead of turning towards the movement direction. at a certain speed it the rolls sideways violently. it should turn towards the sideslide, to give a good quick sideways missile evasion maneuver. I have just under 6000 h on real Helicopters.

Real Pilot: It is correct, although it seems exaggerated in the ED AH64. In real Helicopter dynamics: if you raise collective, RPM dips down (slightly) Governor tries to keep up- TQ overshoots and comes back down. If you lower collective, rpm go up ( slightly) Gov throttles back- TQ goes down, then catches back up. If you put cyclic fwd in flight, disc load goes down. rpm down-gov goes up-then down. if you give left pedal, Demand on engines go up, TQ goes up and vice versa on right pedal. and so on. all depends on your inputs---smooth is the key. I do agree its a bit bouncy, you would think a sophisticated machine like that has a bit more systems in place that anticipate a load change from the collective...

Multiplayer server: After being hit by enemy fire, George stopped working.Dead? Also RadAlt inop and possibly other stuff, not sure. Flying back to friendly Airfield, shut down, requested repair, everything back to normal, just George was not replaced by ... Todd.. Bruce...Jorge...Juan...Gregory? Had to select new flight for it to work again.

Great Module, great work ED. My George improvement requests would be: - if a target is destroyed, scan again and present the list around that target again. -THIS IS a BIG BUG: If a list exists and it is f.e. the friendly Helicopters, another "George up" should initiate another scan. instead i have to select the Helicopter, unslave and search again...

I just tried it again, works fine. george shoots and hits. what i do: george green, target aquired, arm guns on MFD, Master arm and also i select guns on my WAS.... i did have the occasion where i had to hit Consent to fire, but not sure if it was on rockets, MSL or GUN -

green is weapons hold i think... I have the same problem. Can't get him to fire. But i wouyld be happy if i would get him to aim and i pull the trigger. This is essential for multiplayer, where there is no option to enter the CPG cockpit. I got him to aim, but when i pulled the trigger no hits. This should be looked at. -
Deadlyfishes, you are the best, the TTI servers are my daily go to!!! Thank you so much for all the work! If i would change one thing, I would ask to disable the airboss script... in 40% of all spawns on the carrier the carrier turns before I even start the engines and the jet ends up in the water crashed (even with wheel chocks). when I am inbound from a sweaty mission, the carrier turns as I enter final approach on Bingo. I wonder if people actually use the airboss script? anyway, thank you for your amazing work. C.
