Hi there, I'm pretty new to the Harrier. When using the autostart sequence, I sometimes (most of the time) get this error on the EHSD: "QUAL: ATT NOT OK" When this happens, nothing navigation-related works. The map usually doesn't show up and waypoints aren't selectable. Any tips on how to fix this or avoid it from happening? Thanks!

Once you log in, you will see a button at the top that says "UPLOAD NEW FILES". Just click on that and you will be able to attach the file and add a description, etc. That should be it! EDIT: I just noticed there is a 300 MB file limit, so probably Google drive is the easiest way. Here is a link with instructions for that: https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2424368?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop Basically, you go to drive.Google.com, and click the upload button! Good to hear, I know how use all of those things! And thanks for the other info! Thanks for that, SRS is my next thing to tackle!

I'm hoping to take the plunge into multiplayer soon, and everyone suggests that it's very important to understand IFF so you don't get in a friendly fire incident. I checked the Chucks guide and was surprised to find very little info on this. I see on the centre panel there's a button for IFF, but it doesn't seem to do much. So I guess my question is, what do I need to know about IFF in the Harrier before going multiplayer? Thanks!

This works. I noticed that the ghosting at the horizon comes back though if I go inverted, pretty much any roll angle >90°, and it's quite pixelated. Still looks great the rest of the time though, and I can't say I find the reflections particularly noisy. Thanks for doing this, it's a keeper!

You can do the Google drive route, or put it on the DCS user files page: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/

JAS 39C Gripen Community Mod
FupDuck replied to whisky.actual's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Hi I've downloaded the most recent version, and I am still having the same speed limiting issues (won't go more than 500kn). Any hints from the track file I posted? Thanks!- 520 replies

I would also like this! If you upload it and credit the original author, it will be fine. If you don't know who the author is, just upload it and say that you don't know who did it and that you will follow the author's wishes (to remove, etc) if they come forward. So long as you don't claim it as your own when it's not, no one will be upset! I'd Love to fly Normandy in winter!

fixed [REPORTED] AI Wingman Takeoff from Tarawa
FupDuck replied to BigMotor's topic in Problems and Bugs
Phew, this has been happening to me too, I thought I had buggered up my install! Glad to hear it's being worked on! For what it's worth, I noticed it's happening on CVNs as well, not just the Tarawa. -
Hi there again! I've been using the mod with the latest 2.7.5 version, and I've noticed that the "very coarse" adjustment setting now moves the second decimal place, where it used to change the first decimal place the last time I had to set it up. Is there a way to put it back to the way it was? I'm finding it takes a really long time to make coarse adjustments now, especially since you can't just hold down the keys to adjust, you have to press them repeatedly, once for each step. (This is another request too maybe: can you make it so the adjustment key can be held down and the parameter will just keep going up or down till you release the key?). Thanks again for the great mod!

It will be worth the wait I'm sure! -
Hi Thanks for the advice, I have already been using the Chuck's guide, it is excellent. Unfortunately though it was last revised June 17, so I don't think it is up to date with the latest changes either? EDIT: I stand corrected! I must have done something wrong the first time, I just followed the Chuck's guide again for the IR Mav's and it worked! Thanks @waistcat, and my apologies for the post asking for a "for dummies" guide when it pretty much already exists

Is there an up to date "DCS Harrier for dummies" manual or tutorial series somewhere out there? The Harrier is my first ever full fidelity module, and I gotta say I am having a hard time with learning the full capabilities of the jet, especially the guided weapons. The included tutorial missions are very good, but I've had several instances now where the buttons I'm told to press don't exist, presumably because they were moved or removed in a more recent update. In other cases, the tutorial triggers don't seem to get ...triggered. Unfortunately, for me the maverick tutorial was one of these, despite multiple attempts. Anyways, some guidance for us struggling newbies who just bought the jet during the latest sale would be greatly appreciated, we're not all Fri13 caliber here! PS thank you devs for the opportunity to fly one of my all time dream planes!

@lefuneste01, I finally had some time to get this installed, and it works friggin great! Finally I have the best of both worlds! Adding the kegetys mod support has pretty much negated any fps hit from the 3Dmigoto mod, and it looks spectacular. I love the ability to adjust stuff in game, this mod is now on the list of "how is this not already built in to the game?" mods. Thanks big time as well to @speed-of-heat for helping out with your knowledge of the kegetys mod and your clear water adjustment, and for indulging me on my Quest for the Golden Mod!

JAS 39C Gripen Community Mod
FupDuck replied to whisky.actual's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Hi there I just tried the new version and it sure is beautiful! The cockpit looks fantastic. I am still having the same issues with the speed though. I feel like I must be doing something wrong. In level flight, with no ordinance, at 10000 ft, on full afterburner I can't break 500 knots. Diving from 30000 feet at full afterburner I can just barely get up to 550 knots. Is this behavior intended? It doesn't seem realistic to me (it's slower than my Harrier!). Or like I said, maybe I'm doing something wrong? Thanks for any help.- 520 replies

Eric and Patrick, Please believe me, there are many more people using the Rafale than Sushy and Fill! I know I don't post a lot of screen shots or comments, but even though I own several paid DCS modules, your Rafale is still my "daily flyer" that I use all the time! Please keep up the great work! I am always excited to see what you guys are working on (I love the CDG and the WW2 pack as well)!
