Hi I've joined this server a few times now with mixed results. The amount of fun I have seems directly proportional to the number of people using SRS. Without the voice calls and chatter it is first of all extremely difficult to find bandits, even when there's 50+ people in the server. So far, out of the 7-8 times I've joined this server, only once was there people actively talking, calling out bandits and tallies, planning coordinated attacks, etc (which was super fun, one of my best experiences in DCS so far). Half the time I don't even get a response when asking for radio check though. So I was just wondering, are most people on the server not using comms? Or maybe discord is the preferred comms method? I'm just wondering why it's so quiet most of the time. If you don't use comms, what are your methods for finding other planes to shoot down? Asking genuinely, no snark intended. Thanks! -

So I just went and played for a bit. Regarding my issue #1 above, I figured out that this was happening when I was breaking the sound barrier - the mach cone was causing the yellow glow and the stuttering. I've since installed V1.0.2 of the mod, and this is resolved. Talk about quick turnaround! For issue #2, I've found that the A/A, A/G and Nav buttons work, as do the switches for landing gear and a few other things. The buttons down behind the control stick seem to be working consistently, but not the ones on the left dash. Those ones are a bit more hit and miss. By any chance is there a list of working clickable buttons/switches? My main request would be the one that shows the fuel levels, I've already run dry once. For issue #3, I've gone back and played a few more modules on the exact same mission as the one I'm using for the EF, and I'm beginning to think it was just a matter of perception :). I've found a new issue though: If you remove all the pylons from the aircraft, it will not exceed Mach 1. Not just remove payload, but remove pylons. If I have pylons/loadout equipped, the plane will easily get up to Mach 1.4 in level flight. With no loadout/pylons, I can't get over M 0.99. Lastly, I found the little "figurine" on the panel down behind my left arm - nice! Thanks again!

Yup, totally possible. I will disable some of my shader mods and the Rafale (as hinted above) and see how things look. I just figured I'd mention my issues in case anyone else was experiencing similar stuff. Thanks again, I'm going to go fly now!

First of all, gorgeous mod! The cockpit is beautiful, and I'm really impressed with the loadout! I am having a few issues. Note that I'm playing in VR, if that matters: 1. Shortly after takeoff and shortly before landing, my whole screen turned yellow (like the whole view was through a yellow filter), and the framerate dropped massively. After a few seconds, it went back to normal, then repeated a few times. After I got away from the airfield (Soganlung), everything stayed normal. When I came back to land, the yellow stutters happened again. Didn't seem to correspond to anything else, like landing gear, wingman calls, etc. Just random. 2. Many of the buttons in the cockpit seem to be clickable, but not consistently. Sometimes when I put my cursor over a button, I get a pop up message like usual and am able to click it, and other times the cursor will not have any effect on that same button, it's as if it's not clickable, the cursor just "looks right through it", so to speak. 3. The cockpit glass seems somehow overly opaque, almost as if it's frosted a bit. Could be intentional or maybe just my perception, but different from my other modules. I'll be the first to admit I have a ton of other mods installed, and they may very well be causing some/all of this so take my feedback with a grain of salt. Having said that, I do not experience the issues mentioned above in any of my other planes, including community mods like the A4, Gripen, F22, etc. Anyways, like I said above, fantastic job, she really handles like a dream and the sounds are really off the hook, probably my favourite part. Thank you very much for all your work on this, it is greatly appreciated!

SOLVED: Disable Loading Screen (for VR) - New MOD

FWIW, this only happens for me when using Steam for VR (in IL2 as well). It doesn't happen when using the native Oculus API for VR (in this case, the screen freezes and there is a little hourglass spinning on the side, much less jarring). Just thought I'd mention that in case it's helpful for anyone. -
Can I ask how you enabled it? I have the same card and just installed the latest Nvidia driver. I don't see any new option in the settings. Thanks!

I have been using this mod for some time now, can confirm it passes IC. Besides what @lefuneste01 said above, this mod can do much more, essentially allowing simple-interface, in cockpit tweaking of how the game looks. You can change reflections, colours, haze, sharpness, etc etc. I highly recommend it!

Well, they did just release the Mosquito and the C47 AI. But yah, maybe this European map expansion will be accompanied by some more new period modules! Rather than different variants of existing planes though, I'd like to see something new. The He111 posted above is a great candidate, or Hurricane, Typhoon, Me262... Any of these would be awesome!

I always wondered why the two maps weren't one. There's lots of overlap already and both maps are pretty small. The two together I think would still be smaller than Syria. Personally, as someone who bought the Normandy map but not the Channel, I'm pretty stoked to hear this! The country between Paris and Normandy has lovely rolling green hills that would be a dream to fly through! I'm also a little surprised this hasn't generated more chatter, I thought this would be huge news!

Is this something any member of the public can set up? Or do you work at the museum? I miss the old days, you used to be able to walk right up and touch the planes. I remember standing under the Lanc in the open bomb bay!

Just to close this out, I can confirm that the vikhr circle alternates to the left and right of the targeting circle, so this does indeed seem to be due to the offset of the missiles compared to the targeting lens. -

Thanks Taz, I'll pay closer attention later when I'm playing to see if the vikhr circle alternates left/right of the targeting circle as I'm firing. Can't say I've ever noticed if it was on one side or the other, I've just noticed it wasn't where the shkval was pointed! -

I've noticed this too, in all missions. The vikhr firing circle does not line up with the targeting circle on the HUD. It follows it to a point but is always deflected, even when perfectly still. Doesn't seem to be affected by wind since it happens regardless of my orientation. Perhaps you should report it in the bugs forum! -
I've noticed that when damaged, the Mosquito seems to lose most of its tail section in two separate pieces, but the plane will still have its tail attached: This is the wreckage of a single plane (still working on my take-off's, ha). I've seen the same thing when attacking Mosquito's in a dogfight/intercept. The tail will appear to fly off, but is still attached. Thanks!
