  1. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/368975-sepecat-jaguar-gr1a-by-skyforge-studios/page/1 Edit, there's also a discord. I'm not very familiar with discord, but I think this is the link https://discord.gg/sTez7xdp If I'm not allowed to post that link, please tell me and I'll delete it!
  2. Great video! The Jaguar is my favourite Cold War era plane. There's just something about that shape that says deadly and sexy at the same time. Plus that landing gear! I think if I had a Jaguar, I would spend a lot of time just driving it around.
  3. Just wondering if the two Canadian bases that were active during this time, Lahr and Baden Soellingen, will be included at some point. Spent some time there as a kid in the 80s watching the Starfighters taking off and landing!
  4. Oh fantastic, thank you! I will try it out later today!
  5. Thanks for releasing this so we could test it. I've done some testing myself, and found many of the same things as cfrag in his post on page 2. Since you are asking for feedback, my biggest ask would be the ability to save paid campaign missions. And I guess the ability to save a bit more info, like aircraft settings, munitions states, and special waypoint actions. Because without that stuff, not enough of the campaign info will get saved to make the save accurate enough to continue. Thanks and good luck with future development on this!
  6. I have found that while this mod still works, it causes issues in some multiplayer servers where once you spawn into an aircraft from the dynamic spawn menu, you cannot then switch to another aircraft/base/slot via the "select role" menu item. When you're already in an aircraft, and select the "select role" option, it only shows the non-dynamic menu, and only shows slots that are already occupied. For example, this happens on all 4YA servers. My only option in this case is to disconnect from the server and reconnect to go into a different slot. If I disable this mod, I'm then able to spawn into other slots via the dynamic spawn menu.
  7. This is great news, I came here to ask this very thing. Would it also be possible to assign zoom to the scroll wheel on the mouse, like in Google maps? Great tool, by the way! I discovered this and open kneeboard at the same time, it's like the perfect match!
  8. I know. I tried using QVFR for that exact reason, but I wasn't able to disable the actual quad views stuff. I have a 3090, so quad views didn't make the game smoother for me. Although it's no longer supported, OpenXR toolkit still works for me, and works better than QVFR atm.
  9. Ah, you're using ASW then. That explains it. With my settings, I get a solid 80 FPS - no ASW. Here are my settings if you want to give them a try on our almost identical systems. Maybe you can also get 80! https://www.amazon.ca/photos/share/iWU0LDhJu4Tv3jK27Kkl6ijrDiUdNjSrskoPluI069Y Edit: one thing not shown in those settings is the fact that I use OpenXR toolkit purely for the turbo mode. That is key. Also, I decided to try preset F with an increased PD in game. As expected, increasing my PD from 1.0 to 1.2 on preset F had the same performance and visuals as preset J/K with PD 1.0.
  10. Well I tried this and it didn't come close to being the same. In order to get the same framerate as preset F, I had to turn the DLSS quality down to ultra performance, which looked like absolute ass. So as expected, you can't get something for nothing. The only way preset J/K is better is if you had enough overhead from the beginning to crank your PD anyways.
  11. How does that script enhance performance? It looks like it just reduces file sizes...
  12. Ok I guess I'll give that a try after cocktail hour. Thanks kind sir!
  13. I've tried preset J as well as K, and while the visuals are definitely much sharper, the loss in performance was too much for me to absorb. My flights over Syria and South Atlantic went from buttery smooth to a stutter fest. It's basically the same as if I'd kept the original F preset and just cranked my PD. So am I missing something? Why is everyone so excited by these new presets? The capability to get the same performance and visuals was already there using existing means...
  14. This looks great! I just bought the Kola map on super sale, it's still downloading but I think this will be the first thing I do when it's done! Thank you!
  15. Same here. Maybe I'll give it a go at the weekend....
  16. Hi, I don't have discord. Is it possible to post the download link, or update the first post in this thread? I went to the download link that's posted there, but it goes to a GitHub page that hasn't been updated since March 2023. So I'm not sure how non discord users can get this mod. Thanks!
  17. Really? That would be interesting, because the FAQ that mbucchia wrote said it doesn't work with DCS. He also did say he hadn't tried in a while though...
  18. I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but when I used to play with my Quest 2, I had artifacts that showed up as a bar of sort of faded pink pixels at the bottom third or so of the screen. At the time, I traced it to a mix of Steam VR and virtual desktop, and noticed the same artifacts in other VR games. It didn't happen, at least as far as I remember, using a USB cable to connect. I would also mention that since I switched to a Quest Pro, I have not seen this artifacting anymore. If you're still using a Quest 2, I would strongly recommend upgrading to a newer headset with pancake lenses anyways. For me, the difference in visual quality, clarity and enjoyment in going from the Quest 2 to the Pro was similar to when I upgraded from a 1080 to a 3090. In case it's helpful, here's all my settings. I get 80 fps solid with this. My specs are in my signature. https://www.amazon.ca/photos/share/iWU0LDhJu4Tv3jK27Kkl6ijrDiUdNjSrskoPluI069Y Hope some of that is helpful! PS I love your stuff!
  19. And chance you'd be willing to post that mission to the user files? I'm always looking for new stuff to do on the SA map!
  20. Wow this sounds really cool! Am I right in understanding though that this is only available for NTTR?
  21. I would also love to fly alongside this iconic aircraft. It's right up there with the Victor and Vulcan for me!
  22. I know you're not supporting the tool anymore, so I don't expect a fix, but just so you're aware, having CAS sharpening enabled in OpenXR toolkit with a setting over 50% or so results in visible vertical lines in VR. They're most noticeable on "flat" backgrounds, like the sea or a clear sky (and also in the DCS hangar). Noticing this is what had me looking into QVFR because at first I thought it was the turbo mode in OpenXR toolkit that was causing it. Again, just sharing this as an FYI. Thanks again for all your work up till now!
  23. Sorry, which thread do you mean? For me, I get microstutters when I don't have turbo mode enabled. This is basically the main reason I still use OpenXR toolkit.
  24. To answer your question @mbucchia, the eye tracking check box doesn't seem to do anything. I have a Quest Pro, and eye tracking stays enabled whether this box is checked or not (as long as it's enabled in the headset and link software). I tested it using the debug feature, and just by looking at the sun in game. It's very easy to tell when eye tracking is enabled. The other box for QVFR must be checked in order for your software to work. Without this checked, it's the same as if QVFR is not installed. I hope this is helpful info for your edits to the wiki. While I have you here, is it possible to use the QVFR tool only for turbo mode? I've heard you can disable it for certain programs using the config file, but this doesn't work for DCS. It's that still the case? Thanks!
  25. Holy <profanity>, really? This might be exactly what I'm looking for! My game still runs best using OpenXR toolkit, but I know it's not supported anymore, so an alternative that just gives me turbo mode would be perfect! Thank you! Edit: I should have read to the end of the page before posting I guess! Well, I think I'll still give this a try next time I reinstall QVFR!
