  1. I always wondered why the two maps weren't one. There's lots of overlap already and both maps are pretty small. The two together I think would still be smaller than Syria. Personally, as someone who bought the Normandy map but not the Channel, I'm pretty stoked to hear this! The country between Paris and Normandy has lovely rolling green hills that would be a dream to fly through! I'm also a little surprised this hasn't generated more chatter, I thought this would be huge news!

  4. Is this something any member of the public can set up? Or do you work at the museum? I miss the old days, you used to be able to walk right up and touch the planes. I remember standing under the Lanc in the open bomb bay!
  5. Just to close this out, I can confirm that the vikhr circle alternates to the left and right of the targeting circle, so this does indeed seem to be due to the offset of the missiles compared to the targeting lens.
  6. Thanks Taz, I'll pay closer attention later when I'm playing to see if the vikhr circle alternates left/right of the targeting circle as I'm firing. Can't say I've ever noticed if it was on one side or the other, I've just noticed it wasn't where the shkval was pointed!
  7. I've noticed this too, in all missions. The vikhr firing circle does not line up with the targeting circle on the HUD. It follows it to a point but is always deflected, even when perfectly still. Doesn't seem to be affected by wind since it happens regardless of my orientation. Perhaps you should report it in the bugs forum!

I've noticed that when damaged, the Mosquito seems to lose most of its tail section in two separate pieces, but the plane will still have its tail attached: This is the wreckage of a single plane (still working on my take-off's, ha). I've seen the same thing when attacking Mosquito's in a dogfight/intercept. The tail will appear to fly off, but is still attached. Thanks!

  11. I would also like to chime in and say that I've been pretty impressed with the dev monitoring and responding on this forum over the past few months. I bought the Harrier right around the time of the maverick controversy, which I only found out about after the purchase, and I was a little worried about the relationship between the dev and customers. But I'm happy to say my worries have been unfounded so far, and like I already said, I'm actually impressed! This really is the best way to make a truly great product. Thanks!

Est-ce exact? Aussi, si l'un de ces mods est activé, est-il toujours possible de faire apparaître le P51 natif ? Ou apparaîtra-t-il selon le mod activé ? I would like to clarify the "USUAL WARNING": Does this mean that if I have your other P51 based mods (WW2 AI and B25), I can only have one of them activated in OVGME at any given time? Is that correct? Also, if one of these mods is activated, is it still possible to spawn the native P51? Or will it spawn as whichever mod is enabled? Merci encore, les freres!
  20. Working great for me, almost back to where I was before this last update! Thank you yet again, @speed-of-heat! Of course I'm hearing now that ED are planning to release a patch tomorrow, so we may all be starting over yet again, but hey, the way I think about it, I learn more and more about computers, graphics cards, etc every time a new version comes out! And here all this time I thought DCS was a flying game, turns out it's a computer engineering class!

  22. I know nothing of how this stuff works, but I know I have grass turned off completely in the DCS settings. Could that be why the game loads for me but not for some (who may have grass turned on)? Again, I have no idea what I'm talking about.
