  1. Holy <profanity>, really? This might be exactly what I'm looking for! My game still runs best using OpenXR toolkit, but I know it's not supported anymore, so an alternative that just gives me turbo mode would be perfect! Thank you! Edit: I should have read to the end of the page before posting I guess! Well, I think I'll still give this a try next time I reinstall QVFR!
  2. Exact same experience here. I decided to try QVFR again as well, just for the turbo mode, since open XR toolkit is no longer supported. But it didn't seem to do anything. The framerate didn't drop much compared to OpenXR toolkit turbo mode, but there was a lot of micro stutter. It's like it wasn't even on, even though the log said it was. When I uninstalled QVFR and re-enabled OpenXR toolkit, it was smooth as butter.
  3. I'm currently trialling the Anton. I've noticed that the canopy has intermittent flashing on the sides. It's only on the side/rear of the canopy, the part that slides back to open. Is this a known bug? It's quite distracting, and in VR it's giving me a bit of a headache. I was planning to buy this bird, but this will be difficult to live with. Thanks!
  4. Perfect! Any chance of putting that link in the first post? Thanks for your work!
  5. I will try yours to see if it makes any difference. What else is different in the file since 2019?
  6. But I thought @Clorydric published this years ago: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3306379/ I've been using it since 2020!
  7. Hi, this looks interesting! Is this still the latest version? As a suggestion, maybe put the link to the latest version in the OP so it's not buried in the comments. Thanks again!
  8. Right on! I'm really looking forward to this! Keep up the great work!
  9. From what I remember, the sea darts weren't particularly reliable during the Falklands war, so....
  10. Unfortunately it's been like this for well over a year now. I think this was even a problem before Normandy 2 came out ...
  11. Sorry for the late reply, but that's correct.
  12. I have it off on. Again, I know it makes no sense that this combination works or does anything at all. Still... Edit: corrected for reality, I thought it was off!
  13. I have also found this to be true. Setting vsync to fast in the Nvidia settings improves stability in VR. Like OP, I know it makes no sense, but it works for me too.
  14. Ah, understood. So by sharing that file, you're sharing ALL the routes you have saved for that map, and your wingmen would have to sift through it to find the desired route. I see how that could be a bit of a pain.
  15. Strangely, if you have an Xbox controller connected to your computer, you can use that to navigate this screen as well.
  16. To use it for single player, couldn't you just select "start multiplayer server" when you start your mission from the mission editor, and then just play it alone? In the post above it says that it saves the routes to a file in your saved games folder that you can send to your wingmen. Would that work?
  17. I think the issue is mainly with the desktop app, not the headset firmware. You need to block the link software from updating. There are instructions on the 3rd page of this thread
  18. I agree with this. I don't see why everyone is still freaking out. The solution is posted on page 3 of this thread. Replace the v68 files with the v67 ones linked above, and everything works like it did before. And I am in the same boat as @gonvise. I have never gotten VD to look nearly as clear and smooth as the link cable.
  19. Given that this will be fixed in v69, would it make sense to turn on the PTC in the Meta software?
  20. There seem to be many slots available. Like I said, when I first join a mission from the server browser, it works just as the op says. I select dynamic, I select the airfield from the list, and I go into the rearm menu when I can choose my plane. If I then hit escape, then choose slot, none of this happens. I just see a list of mostly full slots, and only for one base (the one I originally signed in at). The only way to spawn at a different airfield, that I can find, is to exit the server and rejoin from the multiplayer menu. When I do this, all the airfields and slots show up. Perhaps someone could make some step by step instructions or a video that shows how to switch to a different airfield/plane after already spawning into a dynamic multiplayer server?
  21. I understand how to spawn into a desired slot when I join the server, but how do I change to a different slot at a different airfield once I'm in the server? Going to "select role" only shows a few spots most of which are already occupied.
  22. Thank you. I am easily confused!
  23. I've put an hour or two into this mission so far, and I gotta say, it is very impressive! There's a lot going on to explore, and right off the bat, the almost carrier-like takeoff from Tunb was very enjoyable, with some definite sphincter puckering. I watched a naval battle, shadowed then shot down a couple of Bears, and suffered a landing gear failure on landing which left me dangling over the edge of the runway about an inch from the drink. And I'm most happy to report that the first plane that I got mixed up with was a MIG 17, not a MIG 15. Hooray! Great job, I hope you can do more l like this! Do you own South America by any chance? Something like this on that map would be epic!
  24. The thread title says V10, but the latest version for download in the OP is v9 still...
  25. Hey this config is great! Any chance you would be willing to share it as a DCS config? Thanks for taking the time to make this drawing!
